  1. Anybody else use Money Orders as a form of a payment? I still like to use them.

      Only if sellers insist on it, which is quite rare these days. And they'd better be reputable sellers, else I wouldn't bother.

      At the apartment building where I rent, most people pay the rent with an ATM pad in the office - just like doing a debit card transaction like in a store.

      The last couple of months the office is open by appointment only.  They've asked that everyone pay rent with a dropbox cheque. 

      Several of the younger residents then complained that they don't have chequing accounts and had no intent of getting one - so the building management told them they could use money orders instead! 

      That's great, so now you make the residents go stand in a queue at the bank so that you can avoid them touching the ATM pad in the office...

      /\/\/\  How can you have a debit card (letting you use an ATM pinpad) without having a checking account?  Do you mean that they have the account but don't want to actually get checks?  If so then avoiding that line is as simple as logging in and ordering checks.
