  1. I remember back in the early 1990's in Kissimmee, FL, a McDonald's use to have an all you can eat breakfast buffet on Sunday's. Did anybody remember having them at their local Mickey D's?

I live in a McDonald's test market. We didn't get that buffet, but we did get McPizza and a McDiner.

:eyeroll: This is just more of some people trying to push their will on others.

Why should you tell me where or how to get my pet?

    2. carlsson

      carlsson

I read that as another way of saying that actual pet shops are not capable of selecting proper suppliers of live animals to sell. I wonder about rabbits, guinea pigs, various birds, aquarium fish etc, are those more carefully selected so pet shops still may carry those?

      Flojomojo

The pet stores near me participate in rescue events, which find homes for shelter dogs. The stores themselves can make a lot more money selling food, toys, and supplies, none of which have the ethical baggage of selling dogs and cats from breeders.

Even typing that seems ridiculous, but I guess there are cat breeders for those who feel they need to have a certain kind of cat.

The 98/99s were miserable cars. Rushed to production and LOTS of problems. Always thought of them more as 'lifestyle accessories' than actual transportation.

    2. MotoRacer

      MotoRacer

I had an 01. To call it cheap would be to insult lemons. I can go into detail if you want, but it was one of the worst built cars I've ever owned, and turned me off to VW going forward forever. If they improved it during their "let's lie to the government" years, good on them, but I just don't care having gone through all that.

    3. MotoRacer

      MotoRacer

Btw, beware of years like mine that had two configs in the same model year. My engine was the "whoops, we made the engine as thirsty for oil as it is on gas, but don't worry, we fixed it later in the year but we won't fix yours" models. Oh, the memories. Bye, bye bug. Could've happened much sooner!
