@2600land Maybe it won't, but it definitely will generate plenty of free publicity and get people talking about the magazine

      BydoEmpire

Might be a good move so they can go after the GQ, Men's Health, or whatever other magazines are out there. Internet makes nudes in Playboy somewhat less impactful. I guess we'll see.

  2. When it comes to art work and design, the $2 dollar bill in the U.S. currency print is the best! Amazing work on the Declaration of Independence!

There's no silver in our coins anymore. Silver was removed in 1964 from most coins and from the half dollar in 1970. It's all copper nickel these days. Even the penny has been 98 percent zinc since 1982.

    2. TheGameCollector

      TheGameCollector

yeah so what I'm saying is that people who collect coins from that point on, they know their collection is expendable if need be

  10. Did my up-to-date maintenance on my Yugo and let my mechanic changed the timing belt on the car. For owners that have an interference engine in your car (like mine), change your timing belt very so often. If not, you can bend the values on your motor and that will cost big $$$.

Neighbor guy used to be a tech at a Yugo dealer in like 1988 to 1992. He and his wife both drove Yugo GV's. He still has a Yugo emblem on his Snap-On tool box. They're solid cars if maintained. Simple as hell.

  20. (Newser) – The biggest virus ever discovered is awake—and infectious—after a 30,000-year nap buried deep in Siberian permafrost. Pithovirus sibericum, a member of a recently discovered class of giant viruses, was found 100 feet deep in the frozen ground. It only infects amoebas, but the researchers who uncovered it fear that plenty more ancient viruses are locked into the permafrost and could be unleashed as it thaws.
