    Yep, They extended it awhile ago, finally admitting that the 360 is the least realiable system of all time.

    Honestly you can keep it suspended 9 feet off the ground via tiny stainless steel wires so nothing is blocking any vents, in a wind tunnel cooled to 65 degrees and if it was build within the first year of release, it's going to break down eventually. :D

     

    Hi:

     

    I thought that the 360 (in my opinion) is still a very realiable console. Its just a matter of luck (I believe). This system lasted longer then other people expected by almost 2 years.

     

    Plus, speaking of luck. My original Xbox 360 warranty expired not to long ago. Thankfully, this was the only functional warranty left..

     

    Yet, there is no doubt that Microsoft always had a poor reputation with Xbox Customer Service. However, because of this error with these consoles, there Customer Support has significantly improved.

    I really hope things work out for you with your replacement.

     

    But please be aware that many people have encountered problems with the "refurbs" that MS sends out. I'm one of them as Console #3 arrived at my house with the Ring of Death right out of the box from MS. Took another 4 1/2 weeks to get Console #4 which has been functioning for the last 3mos without problem.

    Hi Guys:

     

    I Received 9 Atari 2600 Systems today that are working for $2 Bucks each!! Some don't have the cables (but I have some to test the systems) and the rest do.. I'll try to post some pics in the next two days after I clean them. But I tested them today and they work!! The "Scoundrel" who said that I couldn't get Atari systems at $2-5 dollars surely hasn't been applying himself in Video Game searching.. His name will not be mention. Anyway, Pics will be up soon...     Dude, I said you can't expect to get them for $5 bucks from a collector. In the wild $5 bucks is not unheard of and when you find a 2600 in the wild $5 bucks seems about right. $18 dollars for 9 systems is amazing though, congrats. Your right also that I don't search out consoles cause I have a couple for myself and I don't find the need to horde hundreds of them as you brag that you like to do. Thats fine and all, it's just not my bag.

    Hi Guys:

     

    Well, tonight I fell victim to the infamous X-Box 360 Three Red Flashing Lights on my console. However, there is good news. Because of the systems reputation of this issue, Microsoft has extended the Warranty to 3-Years (instead of 1) from the original purchased date. I called 1-800-4-MY-XBOX and they have waived my bill (THANK YOU). It will be 7-10 Days for UPS to pick it up and, 2-4 weeks for it to be back (sigh). But its free and its going to be repaired. :D

    Atari needs to be purchased by a company leader that was brought up with Atari. When the French, were starting to have interest with it, I sold my stock and went back with GM, Nintendo (Tokyo Exchange), and a lot of the Penny Stocks (Look what happen to Xerox this way). I have a hunch that Ubi Soft, will buy it next, or most likely, Take Two Interactive.

    I received a Gold Version of Nintendo Punch-Out for the Nintendo Famicom for placing Third in the 1990 Nintendo Powerfest Tournament in East Rutherford, NJ.. Not many knew about this prize because in was sort of a BUY-OUT situation in which Nintendo wanted a selected winner in the Nintendo World Championships. Not just some random guy winning the whole thing... I'll try to dig that Cartridge out and take some pics. I also had Gunpei Yokoi take a picture with me at that event (try to find that to)

     

    P.S.. Only 10 receive that cartridge (6 in Japan and 4 in the U.s. But buying it was a different story in which it was available on other Nintendo Tournaments and Stores in Japan

    Yeah, you read it right, I need a 7800 system with the power pack and the controllers. Stupid me, I packed mine when we moved and I can't get done to my storage as the car is dead with a blown head gasket. If you can help, please post me.

     

    I believe there some on sale on ebay being sold as a lot. Put down, "Atari System Lot" There were quite a few 7800 Systems there last time. Unsure if they work though. Best Wishes.

    I'm currently looking for a Nice Working Used PS3 that is Complete (just like getting a New System, like paperwork, Original PS3 Box, styrofoam etc.) That is in nice condition.
