And thank you for the most interesting derivation. I enjoyed that. Will wonders never cease?

    Cheers!

    thanks!

was wondering...could you make a version that randomly switches through all 11 of the unique sound types of the 2600?

or maybe if this could be selected?

i like that the color can be randomly changed with reset.

would it also be possible to have a version that randomly switched colors?
maybe with a controller one could speed up and slow down the color changes?

hmmm...maybe using controllers sound types and colors could be adjusted as well with the highest (or lowest) setting going into random?

    HOLY FRACKEN WOW!!!!!

i just saw the demo on ZPH and immediately ran here to get the BIN! :P

this is EXACTLY the kind of bizarre noiz thing i am always looking for.

THANK YOU so much for developing this.

so...i had to weave it into my noiz session tonight.

i do a series of improvisational noiz sessions with my project Astrogenic Hallucinauting.

    - threw the BIN of LIFE in SPACE onto the Harmony Cart.

    - wired the noiz into a bunch of audio warping things.

    - wired the video from LIFE in SPACE into my video synth rig and...madness ensued.

i also used a program called Zellen which turns LIFE into a MIDI sequencer.

(Zellen runs on a noiz computer called norns)

figured it was fitting to run the two together. heh!

here's a pic of LIFE in SPACE and Zellen at work:

and here is the noiz session...
all the vid noiz source was generated from LIFE in SPACE and split into multiple vid-synths.

  3. DOES NOT NEED COLOR.

The stark brutality and the bleak void of a dead landscape is what draws me in.

Like listening to COIL's "Music To Play in the Dark" or some SUNN o))) or Ulver.

I really like that you are only using colour as a special effect.

  4. very cool addition.

i went back and watched a bit more of the game play.

i REALLY like the obstacle of the Hangman's Dance!

the bass line motif gets really tiresome.

any way you could leave any music motif out and put the focus into sound design and sound effects?

    :)

  5. FS: [uS] Jaguar System and Jag CD and their boxes, PRO controllers, power, breakout A/V cables, a few games and a few empty game boxes(carts lost in a move), a few ad posters, the molded carrying case...and yes...that is BATTLE SPHERE.

No...I will not split up the package.

    :)

  6.

It's either re-write the entire folder or utilize a utility like DriveSort. If not, check the very bottom (or very top) of the listed ROM files for newly added ones.

Page 5 of the manual, under the second FAQ, touches on this matter as well.

    you are correct.

the file was out of order and listed at the bottom.

    however...i guess i need a better file of Pacman8k.

the one i played...the intermission was all messed up.

anyone have a link to the latest version?
