    Yeah, my DVD recorder's manual says it can record up to 192K, and I set it to record as high as possible, but I can't plug my Atari 2600 directly into the DVD recorder-- I have to go through the VCR coaxial, then VCR to DVD using standard A/V connections, so I don't know how that affects it.

     

    How come you don't just mod your ATARI and get the sound direct?

     

    I have stereo outputs on the noizSPIKE-2600/R and they are SUPER quiet.

    In fact i can't tell if the thing is even on till i have it start making noiz.

     

    That might really help you get really great audio samples to work with.

    Running on Snow Leopard.

    Up on the joystick controller is sometimes intermittent and not working consistently.

    (using the USB Stelladaptor)

     

    Adventure crashed after i acquired the "dot" and was eaten by a dragon.

    wouldn't reset.

    did not freeze...just wouldn't allow a reset.

    just caught up on all this info!!!

     

    FRAKEN AWESOME!!!!

     

    over 300 rooms!

    can't wait to play this one!!

     

    not sure if this is possible...

    maybe when a dragon is fought maybe they could be wounded or stunned instead of just killed.

    so they would heal or get their senses back and come after you again after a short period of time.

     

    maybe after the third time you fight them they would die.

     

    of course a reset would just bring them back anyhow.

    Had a lot of fun hanging out with Al last night. I'll be back this afternoon after my friend's engagement party, then take a break for an hour or so around 5 to take care of my folks' dogs, then be back for the evening.

    Was good to see you yesterday! I imagine today's going to be more crowded than yesterday come this afternoon and evening. :) I might slip out for a few hours today to hit Memorial Park on my mountain bike. Was going to do that tomorrow, but the weather is looking a little sketchy, plus I will need a break from 14 hours of loud arcade games. :D

    i missed ya all weekend.

    was hoping to catch ya one of the days.

    we even raised all sorts of hell late on Saturday!

    it was a long Warlords battle and it got CRAZY!!!!!

     

    i even threw money down on the machine but nobody wanted to ante up!

     

    HAH!!

     

    i was also hoping you would have brought more carts to sell.

     

    i played all the new stuff and want to buy a few of them soon!
