I wonder how well those logos would work on a cart. It may take up too much space on the label to be recognized. Also, sprites and title screen kernel versions should be made available.
It looks quite good on the Solar Plexus cart.

#1 is the best looking and easiest to use IMO.

Good job on pack 1. But wow thats quite a wait for the rest. Did you rename them to give the creator props cuz thats cool.
Anyway awesome job!
Scott
Of course i renamed all the roms to give the creators proper credit (except for maybe 6 where i don't know who made them). Digging through a bunch of roms is fun but also quite tiresome so i'll just take a little "time off" before i release the next pack.

Ok, here's the first small update pack with 514 roms. I still have to sort in a lot of roms so i will post a second one around spring 2013.
And hopefully i'll get around to relase a completely overhauled V1.3 collection in 2013...
Enjoy!

Here's a tiny pack with all the holiday/winter themed roms from my collection, just in time before Xmas.

I'll post the update pack next week, i still have to double-check all included roms (~500) and create a text file.

The GOG holiday sale will start tomorrow - prepare your wallets!!

-
Not sure if I saw all of our AtariAge homebrew in there. here are links to mine:
Yep, this collection is far from complete so there are still many ROMs missing. I already added all of your games but just to be sure - is the final version of Nitebear on Sleepystreet the one in the first post??
-
Please let me know when you do this release, as I'd like to get the ROM database in Stella updates afterwards.
Sure, i'll let you know when i'm posting it.

In Germany, don't mention Goldeneye (N64) or you get arrested
Says who?

-
Sorry to dig this up, but is there any update to the collection?
Funny you should ask as i'm just working on an "update pack" for this collection.

I plan to post it just in time before Xmas so stay tuned...

By the way, if you guys want to see previous VCS demos then just check out the prodlist on pouet: http://www.pouet.net...orm[]=Atari VCS
I just looked through this list and i can't download the TV Noise Atari VCS demo from pouet.net. Can someone post the ROM here?

Why don't you just disassemble the ROM yourself with DiStella?

It's indeed true that I haven't played FF3 yet. So it's even worse than FF2?

FF3 is much better than FF2, well worth playing even if you didn't like the previous Final Fight games IMO.
Though i have to admit that it's been several years since i played those games so it's possible that my memory is deceiving me...

-
Forced to choose, even as Nintendo/Capcom fan, I'd always pick Golden Axe / Streets of Rage over Final Fight

I agree, SOR and Golden Axe are awesome. But obviously you haven't played Final Fight 3...

-
I played my share of shitty games over the years but fortunately i forgot most of them.

The worst turds i still remember are:
Hard Drivin' (C64)
Outlander (SNES)
Chaos Control (Sega Saturn)
Revolution X (SNES)
Pac-Kong (2600)
Rise of the Robots (SNES)
Captain Planet and the Planeteers (NES)
Laser Blast (2600)

What's so bad about Final Fight 2? It's a good side-scrolling beat em up and i enjoyed playing it with my friends BITD. There are a lot of much worse beat em ups on the SNES.
-
Deus Ex - Invisible War
Just beat it yesterday. I like the setting and the atmosphere of this game and the 4 different endigs are great. The game has a few minor flaws/rough edges but those didn't ruin the fun for me, i had a blast playing through the game. I haven't played the other 2 Deus Ex games yet so i'm looking forward to try them too.

I will not however, release the ROM after recieving it...
Why wouldn't you share the ROM with other Atari Fans??
