Can someone help me add a game to a C64 DTV?
Impaler_26 replied to squiredogs's topic in Commodore 8-bit Computers
I'd recommend CSDb: http://noname.c64.org/csdb/search/?seinsel=releases&search=bruce+lee&Go.x=0&Go.y=0&Go=Go -
A video says more than any review! Not when you're on dialup. Ah, that sucks! The only reviews i could find are the ones on digitpress but i guess you have already seen those: http://www.digitpress.com/reviews/index_atari2600.htm

Impaler_26 replied to Rom Hunter's topic in Atari 2600
Thanks a lot! -
Have a look at the music demo in this thread: http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/103045-i-was-bored-so-i-made-this It was made with bB (it's only 1 song though). Maybe it gives you some ideas... I think what you have in mind should be doable with bB.

Why don't you buy an original 2600 for playing homebrews? You can get one for just a few bucks so why stick to a modded FB2 ?

Do you like any 2600 ports better than the arcade original?
Impaler_26 replied to Scrabbler15's topic in Atari 2600
Who cares about warps? I like the 2600 version better because it's very different from the arcade version and it is just more fun to play IMO. -
Will there also be a PAL-version (or at least PAL60)?

I like 2600 Crystal Castles better than the arcade version. -

What Classics Haven't Been Ported to the 2600?
Impaler_26 replied to Ranthulfr's topic in Atari 2600
I agree 100%. This game is awesome! A 2600 port might be possible but i guess it would be easier to port it to the 7800 as there are quite a few enemies on the screen. -
Any games like this for Sega Genesis?
Impaler_26 replied to ComputerSpaceFan's topic in Classic Console Discussion
The 3 Golden Axe games for the Genesis are similar to KOD etc. -
First 2600 Home-Brew Bank-Switch game now available
Impaler_26 replied to rolenta's topic in Atari 2600
Yep, this is definitely not the first homebrew game to use bank switching. I'm not 100% sure but i think the first one was Dark Mage from 1997. -
Nice little game! IMO it needs an option to turn the music off.

You can compare ROMs with Hack-O-Matic III. Get the latest version here.

The real cause of the 1983 video game crash
Impaler_26 replied to Atari Hacker's topic in Atari 2600
Not really. I got E.T. in the late 80's and i didn't have the manual. It took me some time but eventually i figured out what to do and i was able to finish the game. IMO E.T. is a very good game and i had (and still have) lots of fun playing it.
