Thunderforce V on the saturn is hard IMO (or could it be that i just plain suck at it?
). -
The latest version works fine for me in z26. It would be nice if the playfield would get wider (maybe) every 100 points and a 4-digit score would also be nice, i don't think anyone can reach more than 9,999 points...

The final version of Edtris with title-screen and in-game music is 4K and Video Simon is 4K too.
Video Life and Magicard are 2K.

Great! I'm looking forward to see more of this!

This game is coming along nicely! The latest version is much more fun than the old ones. If you ever consider making a 4K-version of this, i have a few ideas...
-
Great!
I remember that game from a while ago (last year?) too... nice to see it getting released on cart!
@Atariboy2600:
I love your comic, great work!!

Congratulations!
Your site is the best source of information about prototypes and i enjoy reading it!! Keep up the good work!

Very nice!
I also have to say that your students had some nice ideas, my favorite games so far are dorothy x and construction!
Btw., the download for "simple simon" doesn't work!

I just played the latest version a few times and it's much more fun than the previous ones. I like the bigger missile and ball and i didn't notice any bugs so far. Very nice

-
This could be a decent game but i just hate that bouncing around the screen....
I played it with my cheap worn out joypad in emulation, maybe it plays better on real hardware with a good joystick

I forgot the best freeware game ever - Blip & Blop - Balls of Steel !! The zip-file is 43,4 meg but it's worth downloading!!
Now go and kill some smurfs!!!

I like the changes you applied to the game!
A few more suggestions:
- I think the success-music should be played a little bit longer.
- I like the 2-digit score graphics, maybe it would look even nicer if you use the 2 middle-digits instead of the 2 right-digits
and have only one constant color for the score.
- Adding a few halloween-themed levels would indeed be nice, i just hope you don't replace all the old levels (i really love
level 6).
-
This is a nice fast paced game, i like the combination of gameplay-elements from surround and breakout!
And yes, it is quite chaotic (i like it that way)

Sometimes when i die the game gets "stuck" and nothing goes anymore.
I think it would be nice if the balls were bigger, they're kinda hard to see. Sometimes it's hard to tell where your player is on the screen because it's made of playfield-graphics, i think it would be better to make it with a different looking sprite.
Overall this game is already fun to play and i think it can become a very good game!
Keep up the good work!

Let's think about the mini-game now. Since I don't want to have the player die if it hits a wall, if the player does, should it a) keep ramming into it; or b.) bounce off and go into the opposite direction?version 18b has the first option, and version 18c has the second one.
Many thanks to Mike Rideout for helping me with this part.
I prefer it when the player bounces off the wall but maybe you can include both options and make them selectable via a difficulty switch?
I also like that you can score points now, makes the game much more fun IMO!

Nice Game, i really like it! I've always been wondering what someone can do with only 2K in bB so i'm looking forward to see how this one turns out

Q*Bert!

I love Dark Chambers on the 2600! I like the slow pace of the game, it's nice when you need to relax.
I have it on cartridge and enjoy playing it from time to time.

Complete NTSC 2600 Rom Set?
in Atari 2600
Posted
Have you downloaded Rom Hunter's Romset? It's the most complete set of 1977-1992 Roms i've seen so far, it should be nearly complete except for a few roms like Seabattle.
The Pal-Roms should be easy to sort out as everything is well labeled.
