I used to throw the Joystick or Joypad against the wall when i was mad about a game, but that was back when i was a kid.
Nowadays i just turn off the console (i can't afford new joysticks every month

Damn, The Last Ninja seemed to be an interesting game but as it seems by your description it's like Venture - fun to play but way too short. Too Bad...

Pac-Kong is the worst 2600 game ever. Period.

I love the way Pac-Man dies.

godzillajoe Posted Today, 5:23 PMDoesn't seem undoable on a 2600. Might have to make the background a bit clunkier but there's not a whole lot going on as far as moving a bunch of sprites around.
I think the main problem for a 2600 port would be the horizontal scrolling, the 2600 is not very good at that (super cobra anyone?).
Haven't played it in ages, may have to find an INTV emu tonight and try it out againIf you're looking for an Intellivision-Emulator try Bliss, never had problems with it.

Atari Charles Posted Today, 8:21 AMThe suspense is building and all will be revealed.

Solar Plexus on the 2600.

Yup, i also like the Channel F. I had a Saba Videoplay (german Channel F) and really enjoyed Labyrinth, Völkerball (Dodge It), Torpedo, Robot Hunt and a few others.
potatohead Posted Today, 6:00 PMThere is another one I can't recall the name of, but it's like pong, in that players have paddles. But they shoot, and you push this big block back and forth into goals. It's probably one of the best titles. Maybe you have that one and can jog my memory.
That can only be 'Video Whizball'.

Eckhard Stolberg Posted Today, 3:16 PMThe text is "Stella says: Write a Game!", but admittedly I had chosen a way too low sample rate for it to be understandable.
Ah, so now i finally know who made this! Funny now that i know it i also hear "stella says: write a game"
Have you made any more speech demos?
MagMax667 Posted Today, 4:35 PMAnd if you guys thought the Core demo was awesome, check out Simon Quernhorst's Graz 2004 and Eurocon 2005 demos:
Yep, Simon Quernhorst's Demos are cool too! Be sure to check out the other demos by wAMMA, Gehirn, Lasertime and Hard.
Great Stuff!

atari2600land Posted Today, 10:05 AM"The Lightbulb Lightens?"

MagMax667 Posted Today, 12:04 AMAbout the other demo (say.bin) it's cool, but I can't really make out what's being said. Do you know what he's saying?
I tried it in stella and z26 and it seems to work better in z26. I also couldn't make out what it said, as far as i could understand "they must see the light again"..?

I don't know about a game called the core but your description reminds me of Radial Pong which was afaik never finished.
Was it something like this?

- Medieval Mayhem

- Phantom II/Pirate
- 2005 Minigame Multicart
- Toyshop Trouble
- Wolfenstein VCS: The Next Mission (if you count that as homebrew)
There is a list with easter eggs on the DP Site.
