  1. I PM'd Candle as soon as he said he had a few spares but never did hear back from him. No big deal. I know he's a busy new dad. Well, if you are of the folks who purchased more than they needed from the last batch and you feel like letting one go, let me know. I'll gladly pick it up from you.
  2. Thanks Candle! How does one go about purchasing one of your spares? Just tell me how much and where to send it!
  3. Hey eeun, I'll happily take your third-run slot any time you get sick of waiting.
  4. Always wanted to add an 800 to the collection. When I finally did, the third Incognito run was finished. Kicking myself in the a*s for not picking one up sooner. I know Candle hasn't been on here in a while. I'm hoping he feals a disturbance in the force and checks in soon.
  5. Shouting from the rooftops for a fourth run of Incognito's. Oh, Candle... Hear our prayer.
  6. Have an 800 begging for an Incognito. I was a little too late to purchase from Candle's 3rd run so does anybody have a spare they're willing to part with? Send me a PM. Many thanks! Lump
  7. What a bummer. Crossing fingers for a fourth run.
  8. Any more Incognito's available? I'd like to pick one up if it's not too late. Many thanks! Lump

  16. Posted this yesterday but for some reason it's not here any more. I received my order on the 21st. Three weeks to the day. Folks, nobody here is questioning whether Steve is a stand-up guy who makes incredible products that are worth waiting three weeks (or longer) for. I've ordered many things from him in the past. The products, shipping times and communication were always outstanding. But this recent experience was very different. I paid for an order but received no confirmation, no responses to emails and no shippping notification. We can all agree this is not typical for him. My previous post stating I was "losing faith" in Steve was a poor choice of words on my part. I have the utmost faith in Steve Tucker. Perhaps, I should have said that due to his atypical lack of communication, I was worried that my order was never processed.
  17. I'm still waiting for an order I placed on Jan 1st. No order confirmation and no responses to any of my emails. Needless to say, I'm losing faith very quickly.
  18. Yeah, I know home-made is an option, but I prefer to use an OEM part if possible. I know someone out there has a dead machine that they're willing to part with. I'll keep an eye on Ebay & Craigslist.
  19. So, besides a glitchy keyboard, I'm also missing the right-most piece of the silver metal strip on my "new" 1200XL. Since Best Electronics can't help me, does anybody have any 1200XL case parts they're willing to part with? My OCD is screaming for me to fix this. Many Thanks! Paul
  20. Well, I guess I'll try my hand at rehabing the old one. Thanks for the help. Kyle - Lemme know when you win that lottery and get those keyboards made. I'll happily be your first customer!
  21. So, I recently aquired a 1200XL to sit next to my modded 800XL. I've wanted one ever since they were first released, but never managed to get my hands on one until today. The keyboard was acting a little flaky so I visited Best Electronics and requested a replacement. To my dismay, they informed me that after 28 years of carrying 1200XL replacement keyboards, they no longer have them in stock. What a bummer! I know I could take the existing kayboard apart and clean it as documented on the RetroBits website, but I'd rather replace it with a nice new OEM keyboard. Since Best Electronics is no longer an option, does anybody know where else I could procure a replacement? Many Thanks! Paul
