Random Terrain

If it makes the big companies use better (i.e. more secure) tech for future (key like) devices, maybe it will have a positive impact.  However, IMHO he's going about it all wrong.  

Nothing stops a thief from just breaking the window or using a swift hook down the weather strip to pull the mech. It's as easy as using a piece of ceramic from a spark plug and throwing it at the tempered glass window. Funny thing is breaking the window is preferred by criminals because if you don't open the door the alarm wont activate. Nothing is safe and if thieves want something they will get it, especially when it comes to automotive.

Once at WalMart, I saw a shifty looking guy hanging out in a car near mine...I walked away, then quietly spun back around and... sure enough, he'd walked up and was about to see if my back car door was unlocked...I stood tall and stepped toward him fast, about to beat his ass if he touched it, when he saw me, put his hands up, jumped back and said, "I wasn't gonna break in your car, man!"  He then got back in the car with his friend and they drove away...
