Really like it but its a shame that a demo which uses the space bar to skip a part crashes if you dare touch it on the second part After the torus part goes then it becomes deadly to touch the space Purely an observation, not a criticism in any way...

May I remind you that Star Wars is being made HERE in the UK (just down the road from me), best technicians around Hollywood and the US do very good films but sometimes they have a tendency to go all GO USA and change plots to make it more American, American Sniper suffers from the Ma's Apple pie, true red white and blue when it was not actually the case, it leaves out all sorts of things. But in general the US makes damn fine films and of course, damn fine video games

I remember when we got the in house prep for the next catalogue at Maplin and there was the 1450XLD, I wanted that machine so badly (in a gaming play way...of course) and being tech Atari sales I was sure to get my hands on one......Or so I thought... Sergey, try resetting your settings and scan the roms etc again... I've found that sometimes Altirra chooses odd roms / settings in between updates, not saying its Altirra doing it but I've reset the settings a few times and suddenly things work as they should..

Not seeing that here, its scrolling very fast from left to right but no twitching Serj, sure you are using a real rom OS and not an Altirra one by accident? Hope all is well where you are

And... Don't forget, if you think we have missed a brilliant game then TELL US, just remember, no hacks (ie games with hardcoded infinite lives etc that you cannot choose or general level hacks unless they are really really great) be they BASIC or other coded, makes no difference those are welcome, we just ask that you believe them to be wonderful games. If you want to add the games to a post then fine or PM me and I'll give you my email addy to send direct, try and check the games although I'll do it anyway and if they need special option like OSB, accurate drive speed etc then they and mention those to save me some time.

Rescue on Fractalus! ; The best game ever. I can't forget the moment when the alien popped-up!. 2. M.U.L.E. ; OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 3. 4. 5. etc etc You get the idea, Starwindz will then add the info into the gamepack to be immortalised While you guys are doing this if you don't mind I'll be back on the one by one game check WITH BACKUPS And all this at a time when on the 23rd my daughter should finally leave hospital for good after being in there since September with what was then a close to death eating disorder, she was as near to death as can be, not even allowed to walk. But she's all better (as can be) and out just before my birthday so its all great... So get your mini reviews in...... Remember, one line please...Choose wisely Don't worry, we expect plenty of repetition over certain games but it will be YOUR words, be they old classics or new releases, you pick.

And a question, it must be daunting going from so much in the way of machine resources to trying to cram it all into 48 - 64K, so do you think working on such resource friendly items with hardware to do almost as you want, has that improved the way you code on an Atari? Always wondered about this, I'm sure over the years you have leaned many new coding ways for the new hardware but is any useful retro wise?

Well done Pete, you are better off without Sal, any one wanting to apportion blame only needs to read the threads on here with Sal to make their own mind up who spoilt it for him (and to save a huge read, it wasn't us). Sal just has a knack of rubbing people up the wrong way, I still wish him well and better health but our paths will not cross again.

No, I don't recommend the sky diving or cigar chewing / whisky... I had throat cancer when I was a lot younger and I went to pieces, I was sure it was going to be terminal because we have cancer in the family on my mothers side, all the men were also called Paul and all died and in those days cancer was not very treatable but I was given the all clear after treatment, it taught me not to fear death and to use the time wisely, Doc has shown an exemplary and amazing emotional grace, he's getting his house in order just in case (but reading it again it seems he may have been told otherwise, in which he's an even stronger man). I'm not religious but in cases like this I'd love to be proven wrong and find out there's someone looking after you up there, I really would! Thank you for all that you have done for the community and people, even at this sad time still giving, it's the mark of a wonderful considerate and caring person. Be strong, stranger things have been known to happen... Paul... And no one is ever gone if the worst should happen, see the middle line of my sig but lets not stop hoping and trying..

When I was younger I could sit up all night playing and then go off to a full days work and repeat it with only a couple of hours sleep, now I feel like I need a sleep mid way through the afternoon let alone late nights....Mind young, body ancient Bit like an XL
