  1. hey i might have atari writer somewhere ill have to look.. also you might download menu.bas and see what it says..
  2. whell some of the files dont work and some are courpt or i just didnt delte the files.. I never played chicken that long the cont tester tests controler and sound might be a keyboard to sound or a paddle to sound file...
  3. Ok paddle(0) is a old password protected disk that probably had dup or dos screwed up so all i would do is load a different disk then swap back to paddle(0) image then run menu to run games.. now paddle(0) has a paddle to sound file in it i think if i remember correctly.. anyway the password entry file at 1st you push return then do it again untill it beeps barks bitches then it says password again then you push sa then it wants you to push start to load meni.bas or dir.bas witch is just menu renamed..
  4. Glad you Liked the games The DUEL game me and my brother typed in a long time ago... to long for me to remember but I remember playing it Also the autorun file just loaded menu.bas the password protected disk just load meni or dir.bas or just switch images on the fly w the emulator then swap back in to play games..
  5. WOW wholly crap BOY did I rant on on that topic ... anyway I eventually found a appolo cart with a 2732 in it and using a william eeprom burner I finnaly made some new homebrew carts I actually burned and got them to work I also using a ohm meter I pinned out the cart and using a old atari pac-man cart I rewired it to use a 7400 and a 2732 to use 4k roms i hacked...
  6. the arrow is pointing to the type of eeprom it looks like a tms2532 witch doesnt mean its differnt than a 2532 w out the tms only the lame 2716 is differnt than the tms2716 thank god... also please see if it says 2732 or 2532 as I have a lots of extra 2732 chips and mabie some 2532's too!!!!!!!!!!!!! the eeprom is the thing inside the window you can actually see the chip under the glass I always thought these chips were cool .. I did make a mistake and just figured out its a 32k chip but you can use 4k atari roms with it..
  7. wow thats a crappy picture it looks like a tms2532 to me! the bad news is the new william eeprom burner wont burn them it will read them but to burn one I have to program a 2732 then using the old burner switch to a 2532 then burn.. the good news is that pacman pcb's arcade ones use 2532's and they erease good but not every time sometimes they need ereased more times to atually erease... If you had a better picture I could tell you weather its a 2732 or a 2532... either way you can get a pdf of the pinouts as i did this for an arcade space invaders 9316 space invaders chip and actually put it into my william eeprom burner and read it ALTHOGH it was a pain i had to hook pins 18 -21 in different holes and also i had to hook -5v and 12v and 5v to certian pins I just did it to see if i could actually read a general instraments chip and I actaully did it ... also I made once a conversion socket to use a 2716 in place of a tms2716 NOW 2716's and tms2716s are way so different than a 2532 vs a 2732 a 2732 and a 2532 just have line a10 in a differnt spot but a tms2716 and a 2716 have differnt voltages... the good news is you have a common chip you can easaly erease... also using a william eeprom burner if you have 2732 instead of 2532 then its easy to just send it a .bin file to a 2732 and use a pacman cart rewired to use 2732 chips!! also here is a link to a 2532 pdf http://arcadearchive.com/pinball/sys80/tms2532.pdf also check this out here is how to use a 2732 in place of a 2532 since most new eeprom burners burn 2732's but not 2532's you could just make a special socket to do it and use a 2732 in place of a 2532 then you could take a known good rom chip and test it to see if it ran.. altghouth you could just use the unimex to do the copying but you could still use a 2732 unless i read the crappy pic wrong and it actyually uses 2732's anyway but I would stick to 8k games to be safe .. or 4k ones like the german instructuon say... I just remembered a 2732 or a 2532 uses a 4k game... also here is a link to a 2532 to 2732 socket just use two sockets and bend up pinis 18-21 then rewire... I am trying to insert a 2732 EPROM into a location where a 2532 currently should exist. I have programmed a 2732 EPROM with the appropriate code. I am sure that I can install this with a few pins changed, but I can't seem to get it right. Here is what I did All the pins are identical except the following: 2532 socket. 2732 EPROM pin 18 ---------> 21 pin 20 ---------> 18 pin 21 ---------> 20 2532 socket 2732 EPROM 21 (VPP)-----------not used 20 (/CE) ---------------------------- 18 (/CE) 18 (A11) ---------------------------- 21 (A11) GND 0V ----------- 20 (/OE) Obviously you can use pin 12 for GND 0V. all you do is take two sockets and make a special adaptor its not easy but i got it to work once to use a 2716 inplace of a tms2716 .. anyway hope this helps.. mabie you could dump the contence of the mouse trap!..
  8. That was very helful. Thank you. I'm sure he didn't intend it to be an unpleasant experience... that is definantly a 2532 or a 2732 they are both 32k a 2532 and a 2732 just have pins 18-21 differnces I have actually used a 2732 for my arcade pacman pcb and took a file i put onto a 2732 with a william eeprom burner and then used my older burner to convert it to a 2532 now it takes at least 33 minnutes under a eeprom eraser UV light to erase a eeprom.. now so a 8k file will work on a 2732 chip so since all my atari carts I have modded a pacman cart to use a 2732 and it worked! i FOUND A Apollo space game atari 2600 cart witch I thought was rare at a pawn shop and paid $6.00 for it little did I know it had a 2732 on it once i found this out i ripped it apart and copied the chip just to see if i couuld then i was able to use 2732 chips to make copies of my hacked games and it worked on the flashback II hacked to take carts so i put a socket into the cart then melted a hole threw the cover so i could change out chips when ever i wanted to change games I have 8 diffrent chips i have games on one is hackem a nother is combat rock and a nother is my aw rocks in witch i changed the asteroid rocks to look like aw's and ©'s.. anyway if you wanted you could remove the mouse trap game and read in an eeprom reader... also I know it when it says used that the empty cart is ''not blank'' so in a sence you just have a simple eeprom burner made spicificly for 8k games.. I wonder if its a 2732 or a 2532..whell after looking at the manual in german it says 4k or 8k games will copy... also it looks like there is one time carts and ereaseable ones too... YOu would have to erase the chips but in my experince sometimes even though you erase a chip sometimes it wont erase the 1st time you have to let it cool after 33 minnutes then re erease it I got all my blank chips out of a old arcade birdie king II board It has like 20 2732 chips!!!!!!! anyway good luck ...
  9. I took pictures of the Power Joy I bought from the flea market of the Hamvention The seller is Anonymous!!! It was outside somewhere!!! .. anyway here is some pictures the shooting game was actully fun on my small 13 or 12 inch Panasonic composite mil spec video monitor A tv with out tuner in a metal case anyway it looks awesome on it and plays fun too the shooting game was fun until i shot a kid in the game but reset with the notion cool I was not expecting that anyway but thought it was cool later on in level two i missed a bomb but also did not shoot anything on screen and it said GOOD! then went to level 3 it just keeps going until you get like 3 strikes I think.. Also the car game is kind of fun and the block fall game witch plays like a game they stole the idea from has original music on start barker page then has level select up to level 50 or something and you can have two players I wonder if the shooting games like duck hunt lets you move objects wilst p1 shoots at them , here is some picks of the power joy pad . WOW I cant belive how good that Panasonic composite monitor works for taking pictures with the contrast turned all the way down.. the falling bricks i moved so its jittery picture. img_2154.jpg play select their is a level select too.. image img_2516.jpg game3 Shoot Copters 300 you can see a copter instead of a duck . next panzer fly car 500 car alone then enymeies you cant let them make you touch p touch death the wall!!! or you blow up so dont crash into wall.. SHot glass 000 img_2524 also shooting 600 img_2525 now this is the game i DID NOT EXPECT kids to pop up instead of targets but on 2nd stage i missed all on screen and was late for bomb but did not shoot a kid or anything on page and it said GOOD!. then I ran out of ammo . A nother brick picture bleary but falling object caught in picture.. Here is a picture of the monitor. too I took pictures of the back to show the 75ohm switch cause this monitor does not gitter like a new lcd or plasma or hidef sony like screen cause its a TUBE .
  10. I did buy a coleco sports video 1 player joy pad Coleco Plug-n-play TV Video Game System (Includes: Soccer, Hockey, Football, Racqetball, Basketball & Baseball) it costed under 10 dollars and is only like $3 something online the joypad is really hard to use and the games are lame but I still look at the yellow red black and battery wires once and a while as the bottom is missing and video wire has been snipped and the battery cover is missing with the bottom cover i cant remember what I did with it. I Also just came back from 2010 Hamvention with a bootleg NEs type super joy w built in gun in the joysitck it self the cool thing is the games are NOT orignal but name and other hacked the dog is the same in tv shoot game but every thing else has been changed around its funny how the flashback is a nes on a chip running a nes to atari2600 file !!! emulation file anyway this one is not going to be ripped apart and im on the look out for famicom mario4.********************** edit************ hmm I wonder if the playstation stinky brittle crock nes on chip thing would have the same 2nd player joysticks and or weather the turbo buttons would work on the other machines also the light gun weather a plasma or rear projector wont work w a light gun Ill have to try it..
  11. I Apologize for my rantie posts.. Good luck on youre mod I hope you pick an interesting case REMEMBER wire wrap wire snaps easily thats why we replace one by one w ribbon cable !. Its a Royal pain in the butt but its worth it. Its the fact that the original 2600 switches have a missing slip differntal between the dual poles witch makes flashing super fun. REMEMBER FLASHING between built in and external cart could damage both the cartridge or the built in memmory I dont flash the power button only modes.. DO NOT FLASH A ORIGINAL 2600 because this is bad sparks are nasty E S D type things...
  12. Cool only two cover screws its weird i have a half one type cover the top has ch3 switch and a/b and joy holes but the bottom has joy holes and power holes too!!! i forgot about hat .. I take back what I originally said its just one pin gets unhooked in one selection then the other gets hooked in same selection crap back to looking where wires actually go!! The bottom has a hole for A B channel select I cleaned the stickers off but there is a mold marking melted in saying 451 on the bottom outside cavity!. so in one mode one jumper gets grounded and in the other one gets 5v or something like that i forget yea i think the built in memory gets 5v and the cart gets pin 6 connected cause i see interference when cart in I could be totally wrong . but i know when its up in the cart mode it connects on the left top side of the double pole color/bw switch and the bottom right 3 pins on the original 2600 slide switch connects something when the other right top unconnects built in memmory wire when in cart mode but i forget I know they dont have common wire though thats what leads me to think the built in memory needs 5v cause most of those memory sticks are 5v. or mabie its 3.3v but my cap is still on power switch just unhooks pcb from 5v regulator so the power pack has LOAD all the time and wont burn up so i have to unhook funpack power pack wall wart to make it reset remember to start a built in game 1st before FLASHing back to cart slot to FLASH youre games to youre hearts content ALso sometimes you get the this area intentonaly left blank also power on holding reset momentary wilst holding select momentary at same time then power on for test menu then 1972 up 1 down 9 times up seven and down 2 for paddle cart menu on built in to test youre wipers on youre paddle pots.
  13. the cart switch has to unhook gnd from c select line select a10 equivilant bank select pin from built in memmory and the other one needs to be hooked up so you essentally replace jumper and remove one to switch between the modes to external cart this is why i think it took a week for me to figure out how to use both sides on the color/bwhite dual double throw double pole it has two 3 pin connections on the switch so i had to scratch all the solder mask from the original toasted 2600 board i used to steal its case ... if i remember correctly anyway ill remove cover since i used ide cable not wire wrap wire like you did cause i knew this question would come up and i dont like to repair something I forgot where they go!.. Ill look now
  14. I was using a 8k asteroids type atari game on a 2764! a long one wow you got it to work i forgot since power failure at 4am what i had done to send it a file i think it might be win95 xmodem hyper terminal !.
  15. I like that You used the b/w switch as I needed it to change from built in and cart mode on flashback II rev D anyway I used the ch3/4 switch for b/w since I used composite video OUT!!! witch is cool becuase I put my flashback into a old 2600 case and it looks cool .. I like that you need to push fire on every level to start game in case you need to take a ''rest break'' or the phone rings right when pokey is on youre tail.

Once I got paid $3 an hour to play a demo version of a game for the atari 800 Mr TNT I should have just bought the prototype cart then. As like crackpots giveaway at grocery store I never obtained the promo carts.. now © is weird cause some guy at hamventention once as a normal vendor said Donkey Kong® and NINTENDO® of america® will sue everyone any time even if its an old © they will re © it before sueing you! .. now since its been 17 years and there is no $ in Atari800 Atari400 and Warner Brothers no longer supports Atari © repair shops the computer is obsolete but the new games made HERE are© ed games if you change the name of the game and the grapics you can get away w making youre own version . BUT i call it an atari cartridge not a VCS or game program. A original listing is © the .bin file is ©ed but since i modified it and changed the name and graphics to aw's and ©'s on my asteroids®©ATARI® Atari is a Registered Trade Mark® of ATARI INC.© 1972 type game then i can get away with it MY game is not endorsed or supported by Atari ® AtariAGE® or any Atari ENTITY IN ANY WAY its a prototype only cart and a one of a kind not intended to compete w old Asteroids® and is for informational and educational purposes only!. now if you make a game from scratch its ok NINTENDO had some weird © © settelment w Atari ® for there propritery type NES DOS so you could not run a bootleg game on the NES w out paying to have the NINTENDO ® SEAL of QUALITY ® on the label witch ATARI® TENGEN® could have just opted not to use the NINTENDO ® seal of quality witch is why i hate TREMAIL he runied Atari ® on purpose and may he rest in peace but He probably had a heart attack he killed Atari® and COMMODORE too!!!!! My atari survived lightining the disc drive blew up the 850 blew up but the computer sat there and said READY_ witch means Atari knew what they were doing. all the atari needed was a PCI sio connection like the emulation . I wish Atari would Sell Cd roms w atari800.exe. Here is there address Atari 417 5th Ave # 7 New York, NY 10016-2204 There current Phone number is. Phone Number (212) 726-6500 This is avalible when they are Hiring. Good luck. ALl © laws still apply. If i make a PAcman®'namco' {[(Midway)(Licenced form )]} © Namco© inc. If I take a Pacman rom and modify it its ok but if i make a FAKE Midway like pacman pcb thats ILLEGAL so i s copying a rom but if youre fixing a rom for a actual board and its only for that board its ok as long as the Marquee is not FAKE on the cabinet and you use a original pcb. if you make a crapload of fake 20th reunion or 25th reunion pcbs and cabinets you would be in © law violation w NAMCO. however you can take a original runion pcb and do what ever with it . you just cant make fake pcb;s bootleg type. TAITO DID A LOT OF USING bootleg type pcbs and just sent out UNIVERSAL stamp like stickers to make them licenced! in JAPAN. the JAPANEESE are Differnt and take © law differntly than we do . A bootleg GALAG pcb could be a original GAME in japan cause there is so many games in japan they would tie up court for 30 years figuring out what was bootleg not to metion some of the bootleg games were in fact the original game like MAGNAVOX pong was STOLEN by Atari but a little unknown fact is its aVARIENT and they actually PAID Ralf off with a licence fee! so YES © laws still apply today. WHAT was youre intent anyway most Atari 800 games became worthless when my dad © ed a eeprom for someone for a socalled happy drive Iwas like ok there is the end of copy protection for the planet my dad said WHO CARES I SAID I do he said youre the only one . I said what about WINDOWS He replyed I pay Microsoft $10,000 A year for MSDN subscriptions DONT WORRY ABOUT xp ! I said OK. I still have all the Atari games and the ONE origianl game i got from WIZARDS WORK . they make hunting games for the pc now! I got some canyon climber game there and I liked it the ONLY GMAE I purchased was CARTS from TARGET notice there new return policy no returns on video games or music unless in original wrapper unless defective.. I purposely once mutleated a nintendo smb game once then replaced it w returning the new one as defective that was nintendo 's fault for price fixing TENGEN ® TETRIS® NINTEDNO OF AMERICA® anyway I told Target I can still buy a new one take the old one and return the new one to fix the old one and they said NOTHING. a heat gun and some sticker swaping and viola original becomes new again. So back to pong I bought a Game called TAIL OF ß LYRA it was cool but the game got corupeted but i think i fixed it with ULTRA COPY the most ILLEGAL Atari400/800 file out there but it is cool I circumvented the shareware version of APE ® with it.' I just mirror drive2 as drive 1 then copy a disk from it self to it self twice using a blank atari disk or just use miror of drive 1 to drive2 as the destination then save the file as a ATR! it worked and now my original NON ILLEGAL ATARI BASIC programs i TYPED in by hand are now online as whell as the Atari TWIN CITY INTRESEST GROUP TAIG disks some of them are now on cdrom! with means no wires no crap laying all arond the house exept more IMB format computers 1 dual core ATHALON® with MMX® INTEL 2000 cros lices pattent and my Compaq HP laptop! with Atari800.exe.. I can now play my old Atari ® basic game I can run Microsoft Mbasic Witch means Microsoft basic on my atari even thouugh it was a copy I never run it anyway cause i dont do ms basic as whell as ATARI basic. Artillery Duel/Chuck Norris Superkicks Double Ender label witch i never saw anyway untill atari age! . its like atryirary dual its fun i added an explosion my brother was using the atari instead of apple cause he needed to know math he loaded the file for math class and told me to push POP then push return(enter). the Tail of Beta LYRA was my fav game it used the speaker for the keyboard and used color bursting like missile command® witch i can get over 1 mill on S option push S in Missile COMMAND and only smart bombs come if you have trackball push t or j for trackball or joystick. Atari 800 Carts are easy to program just save the file as a .bin I bet there is a basic to bin converter somewhere out there. My next project is to use DE RE Atari manual to program ASSEMBLER EDITOR cart® to type in checkers and learn assembly language witch is like grapple.c for quake1 or quake2!.. HAve fun and dont worry unless you make $ copyrighed stuff you have mostly nothing to worry about. EBAY is noted for being NIAVE about © when it comes to video games bootleg games are worth twice as mutch as the original ones EXEPT for the NES ON A CHIP witch IS A CLEAR © violation 7,999,999 YAHaw right there is 19 games when you remove the crock jumper anyway I destroyed that cart and the whole game too then thing was a total rip off on a nes i can see a cart with a weird version of smb but leave it at that one bunny game or cat. dont make multi carts unless you change all the graphics and game play! no wonder they got sued and lost I remember the guy at RIDGEDALE I bought a game from him for $10 just for the cool box witch had donkeys from shrek on it and the thing in side was crap the plastic broke and the thing raley boots I could have bought a REAL famicom! damn I dont consider it a collectors item and want to get rid of it but keep it just for the funny box.. I did like that i could post Christmas Tree on christmas from TAIG Ugene OREGON Atari inteest group disk 14 or 13 I upoloaded so every one could enjoy the christmas tree. http://www.aracnet.com/~atari/atariclub.htm ********************************************* Sorry for the long rant
  18. That was an interesting read. We become so immersed in this community and our knowledge, it's interesting to hear "outsiders'" viewpoints and fuzzy recollections and incorrect assumptions. Also, most opinions were that no one would want to play these old games now. I guess that depends on what games they're remembering, and I doubt any of them know about all the incredible new games being released. Most sound incredulous that anyone would buy something like this in 2010. Havent you ever worked Retail I worked at a OASIS market once and they are LUCKY to have flashbacks in Canada YOu know when you fill out the warenty card FUN inc gets happy thoughts.
  19. Youre game/cart switch has one gnd and one side gnds the other out of three wires put the gnd in the middle and the game/cart select switch jumpers on the outer of the 3 wires on the switch you can use both poless!! you know scratch all but gnd gnd too then run jumper to middle switch connection then on one way is one jumper and other off pos =color on =cart and b/w =built in memmory UNHOOK BOTH wires and short only one to gnd at a time! good luck then use ch3/4 switch for bw/color GOOD LUCK USE GND STRAP . ask others on atari age and they will understand how i hooked my color/bw switch up. NO use bw/color just jumper color /bw on for now! then take old broken 2600 cabinet and use cart connector just scrape wire off pcb then use cart wires to new wires then power switch has only on off on new mini flashback cases! you see now here is switch you need 1 2 3 4 5 6 pin 1 and 4 are on and pin 3 and 6 are off on old 2600 power swith or color/bw switch unsoldered and hanging off flashback is as follows for cart/built in gnd 5 gnd but seprate from each other use jumper wires keep them seprate!!! 1 2 no connection scratch pcb solder mask off 2600 pcb! ok now assuming you know what switch im talking about a removed switch unsoldered is already not hooked to pcb or scratched all gnd connection to rest of pcb so all 6 connections on power switch from 2600 not fb2 is completly unhoked ok pin 1 no connection pin 2 no connection pin 1 2 3 4 5 6 pin 5 no connection for now pin 2 cart on wire to cart on pin 4 built in memmory wire to jumper solder spot! to gnd pin 6 to built in memory to turn on a10 from built in memmory module or line select pin 4 gnd now pin 1 can be to power 5v out and 3 not gnded but to cap 5v+ must unhook 2600 9v power pack till cap dies meaning do not hook transformer up w out a load
  21. http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/155050-merrychristmas-atari-images-found/ check out what i just listed . If you have a ape and cable you could load up REAL basic games and stuff . or use atari800.exe to learn how i made the password file or goblin or horse or DUEL the duel is really fun for two players.. here is a basic file you can type in . 0 GR.11 1 FOR X=1 TO 79:COLOR X:PLOT X,X:DR.X,79:SOUND 0,F,10,10:SOUND 1,F+1,10,10:SOUND 2,F+2,10,10:SOUND 3,F+3,10,10:NEXT F RUN HERE IS A NOTHER ONE 0 SOUND 3,PADDLE(0),10,15 1 ?PADDLE(0) 2 SOUND 2,PADDLE(1)+1000,10,10 3 ?PADDLE(1):GOTO 0 USE ONE PADDLE ? PTRIG(0) IS PADDLE (0) BUTTON ?STICK(0) IS JOYSTICK INPUT INT(RND(1)*21) IS RANDOM UP TO 21 BUT I ALWAYS USE INT(RND(0)*21) STARTING W ZERO IS MORE RANDOM !. gOOD luck and i wish you lots of fun programing atari. 800
  22. # * *** ***** ******* ********* MERRY CHRISTMAS HAPPY NEW YEAR and happy holidays to all. Adam Weisbrod.. Have a GREAT NEW YEAR and enjoy the christmas tree files.. I remembered if you add line 751 to merrychr with 751 poke 77,128 the attract mode comes on! also add lie 501 poke 77,128
  23. I found the disk I was looking for SPACE St Paul Atari Interest group disk #13 witch had merry christmas and christmastree on it I will leave a .txt file witch in reality is actually a atr file you can run w atari800.exe the disk image is 1.atr i renamed it to 1.txt also i found a nother autoboot disk no basic needed witch as a nother merry christmas card to you all... ALSO NOTE Happy holidays to all and to all a Happy NEW YEAR 2010!!!!! ☺ wow I wish good tideings to all in avery language. there will be more images of user disks and more public domain images if you like this one.. LOAD UP atari800.exe w basic loaded then load up 1.txt you dont have to rename 1.txt to 1.atr i loaded it and it worked anyway!!! cool huh. then pick merrych then merry christmas then wait.. use joystick to place 25 lights on youre tree then listen to music then when its done it says push start but you dont have to cause all that does is load menu so i just turn sound down and leave as screen saver.. also christree is a nother tree w music.. so enjoy star is a file i typed in from compute magazine (no i cant remember witch one). you move w joystick left and right avoiding space chunks score is added to screen was very hard to add onscreen score!. joytest is joystick testor. paddle is paddel music testr. I also ound a nother christmas image boot w no basic its called copy of merry christmas 19xx demo.com i renamed it to .txt so i could post here. I assume its public domain.. DUAL is a basic game needs two players and two joysticks and is fun its a turret game where you pick volicty (power) and angle to lob bombs at enemy it was one of me and my brothers most liked basic games that somewhat dont suck I think he typed in most of it and i modified the explosions and the sound .. I forgot how but i rememebr doing it. Logo is Atari symbol. ballons is a basic game horse is a horse racing game wait for the special charactor set to load it will run but takes long time to load in basic.. slalom is ski game. I have included some snaps of Merrychristmas running.. note it lets you put lights above triangle of bottom of tree in same line . I have Now Included a snap of menu. You can type dos then using atari.exe. You can choose new disk image after pasting copy of this one and then use copy type dos then delete all but menu on copy of 1.atr then use copy as blank basic disk this is what i did. I just figured out atari800.exe lets you actually load files or SAVE files to atr images so on real atari if i load a atr image using APE I can save"d1:menu" then autorun.sys runs menu on basic load I have changed this before password is sa -=*+(atari symbol)+=-*/ then it askes you to push start for menu witch i renamed to dir all i did was make a new menu and saved it as menu.bas you can use autorun to run any basic game or file just make shure the file is named menu.bas or menu now the thing is I forgot how I made autorun.sys It could have been a txt file but i forget.. ill include a nother basic games crap atr image and password protected one use sa i shortened the password cause you cant seem to get atari symbol graphics to work w my password file. USE sa for password !!!!!!!!!!!!! ☺ you have no idea how long it took me to TRAP basic get$() and other things I even made the menu reload when you pushed reset you had a hard time pushing break cause i trapped that to I found on atari800.exe when its loading on reset you can push pause break same as atari break button and it stopps.... I then deleted lines to make less password input.. it was part of funpack . Here is a trick to bypass password use the ATARI disk swap trick. just boot w 1.atr or 1.txt then swap disk to passworded then just push 0 on menu and it will reload menu to let you see whats on youre disk. as long as you dont run any basic file you can see whats on all youre atari images.. Please Enjoy These images .. here is where i got atari800.exe http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/atari800/atari800/2.1.0/atari800-2.1.0-windx.zip dont click on url right click and save as otherwise it will close window Also the roms Release Name: Original XL ROM Notes: Darek Mihocka got the permission from Atari corp. to distribute the images of Atari 800XL's OS and BASIC ROMs. The XFormer 2.5 package that contains these ROM images is free now so download and unpack it to get the ROM files needed for Atari800 run http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/atari800/atari800/2.1.0/atari800-2.1.0-windx.zip same right click and save as the attachements work just not these old external links.
