I had one of the REal electronic football games when i was a kid OR did i steal it from my brother i cant remember!!! I do remember taking it apart using a triangle file and putting a sound switch on it witch is why if it ever got stolen in school i would always get it back cause i melted AW inside it w soldering iron I would always get it taken away from teacher ..I also had a racing game witch was cool and i think i put a sound switch on that too.. I still remember having to pick the lock on the teachers desk to steal my electronic games back. ALSO in the mattell OLD football game there was a speed adjustement pot .. ALSO donot get them wet i left one in a cooler on the boat once then all the ice melted into a puddle of water and ruined it.. I kept it for parts and ended up using the buttons to repair a atari joystick!!!!!! or vise versa!! I always look for games like that at good will. I just got a new electronic football and DONT LIKE IT its not correct speed and uses aa batteries I was ready to use a lithuim 9v smoke detector 9v witch would probably last 2 to 5 hours instead of a duracell witch lasts about 45 minnutes at the most .. hmm i guess you could use nickel metal hydride aa batteries but i love the lithuim smoke detector 9volts they cost $14 but they last way longer. i have one in my weather radio . I also remember my freind had a weird brand basket ball game witch was LED it was cool you could pass and it was 2 player too... I had racing football 1 2 and baseball I didnt like basket ball and baseball was lame too.. the racing game was by far the best one they made the only problem was finding a nother toy or cb radio witch used the same four way switch witch let you switch lanes it had 3 postisions but no ball berrings or detents to stop it I think i remember trying to use a broken football 1 switch for racing I cant remember how long it lasted . I also had a tomy pinball with the 6's in the display I had replaced the buttons w red radio shack buttons witch worked great.

if i remember correctly the ipaqs had a touch screen and a stylest!!!!!!

whell I had one of the pacman table top coleco versions that i got from G will for like $2 I also now have a nother one that is in good condition and still works. this new one i got 3 years later . Both times i got lucky to see them at good will before someone else noticed them!!.. I also got a dkong table top witch i sold off on ebay.. now onto the FUTABA tube screen display I had almost completely destroyed my pacman cause the buttons on the joysticks so i decided to steal p2's buttons and fixed p1 really good by this time the speaker was gone and the thing was all gone only the control panel and the joysticks but you could hear the ghosts in the tube w out the speaker I guess the 70v transformer for the tube picks up the audio witch is cool I wonder if you could hook two tubes to one console!! as long as the 70volts came from the 2nd broken machine mabie you could run two tubes on one game that would be cool.. ALSO I think some digital cameras can run mame also there is those new nes mp4 players too.. GOOD LUCK.

Whell i tried that mod once and ended up never getting it to work then i got a nother fb II and it worked cause it was differnt model.. as far as open j3 means unhook j3 and close j9 means hook up so on a switch example a button says normaly open means its off untill closed so when you close a circut you complete it and when you open a circut you unhook it so i think it means when j3 is open then j9 shorts to gnd and vise versa so i would just hook up j9 \ look here http://www.atarimuseum.com/fb2hacks/page2.htm thats why i used the other version FB II for my mod cause i couldnt figure out j3 or j9. good luck. I Got the problem solved by getting a new eeprom burner off ebay. I took the original homebrew cart and removed the eeprom then i took a blank 27512 rom and burned a eeprom using the parallel port willem eeprom burner witch is easyer to use and it worked then i was able to burn hackem and it actually booted on the flashback II . I also got a fast cheat rom to load on my midway pacman pcb and it worked too I had to burn a 2732 on new eeprom burner then useing the old burner i burned that into a 2532 as the newer burner cant burn 2532 but the old one can take a 2732 and hold it in memmory and then you can burn a 2532 >... So i solved the problem by just using a differnt burner that lets you just send a .bin file to it instead of .hex and having to change it to .bin . ps ALso the hacked version of asteroids i made is cool on the flashback i can start fb II in asteroids then switch between the built in one and my asteroids and it keeps running the rock change but it still runs witch is cool.

Shout the Arcade you grew up in. I hope the State Fair has more venders come in w video games. I also want to see the rest of the Fair.. I think there was a high score broke on Tetris and Pizza place . highscore totals have been saved.

The Tetris Game is up and running it comes on w pinball circut breaker!!! so they always come on when they open now .. I put 1 quarter into left slot witch i new was dumb. Game works great right slot takes $ every time sometimes it costs 50¢ sometimes it costs 75¢ its a gamble to get credit on tetris , but its always worth it to get a game started. I will leave the scores on the high score table for the drivers.. What they dont understand wont be mutch of a problem cause once polepos gets a new screen I will beable to come in 4 hours early and drive. You all know how fun it is driving w lots of gas listning to youre favorite rock station on the PA system.

The pizza is good It must be eaten hot but it comes hot always its more geared for delevery pizza and tastes great the day after cold watching cold pizza. The sauce is great the chees is really good and the toppings are pretty reasonable i got a Really good deal same deal i got 5 years ago prices have stayed same at this place witch is what i like about it.. reminds me of child hood. The pinball machine works great now quarters got stuck i put one in got stuck I punded on door and it fell in and made that infamous famous credit clack of the credit silinoid then that got the cooks attention I guess that lead to a job. Now I know the fact that the coin return button plunger being rusted is going to be HELL to deal with but I like kids anyway so ill just open it then give some credits until parents say come eat then ill adjust tilt back to factory the one on the TABLE is off I will replace it by bending it back I DID NOT shut it off someone else before Gary got it he said it was already off its to keep you from playing catch w the kickers so they dont gointo geek mode... were still waiting for the kicker coil but it works i got high score for my self.. ([WMS Gamming]) 1st game 2 credits the second quarter fell then i pounded on door to get 2nd quarter to fall then it did i thought it was clear naw it was had one still in now its jammed cause i put one more I was like DUH dont do that! .. 1st game score 1 credit left game starts. score $150,000 2nd game score 250,000 whell ok i cant remember exact score but it wasnt anywhere near 530,000 points for freereplay credit!.

Has anyone played a game recently I got less than 100,000 on pinball today . I was playing a 4 player game and started w 6 credits witch i had to widdle down SO anyone else who wanted to play could!.. this weekend I wil PLAY TETRIS for REAL using a REAL 25¢ quarter a new one any state or year will do then see how many points i get then will post it here.. ALSO if i get to see bookeeping totals i will post if i can..

That reminded me of the last time i went to the Park TAVERN bowl .. my brother was there w kids ANd my brothers youngest kid LEO was whining he needed one ticket or 51 more to get to to next vending machine witch took tickets to get prizes i was like hmm i remember wining tickets at Cheap Skate when on break and i would if i caught the light w the big lit button in the pink neon going in circles I would go find the kid who was bumed about not having enought tickets to get something cool and said here take the whole pile then i got bitched at not cause i gave away the tickets but because the DJ had to switch the whole pack of tickets out i was like sorry i didnt think it was going to land on 100 i toughti would get like 10 I got lucky and hit the bit anyway the person who i gave it to right after the dj switched the tickets i forget if it was the husband or the wife who switched the tickets but they said its stuck and were thinking WTF i saif blow on the iso optolator led whole then they said yeah right you know how many tickets have been threw that hole more than you can think of then the kid who was bummed out played it and lost and i said here take the ones i just one I work here and what would i do with toys but just restock them they were super happy and i JUst wanted to use the ticket counter box i like how it chopped the tickets in half after comapreing them to the next ticket comming into the isoptolator then the DJ came up and said hey adam watch this they took the hole pile even the ones witch were in half did something to the SCALE witch i Didnt catch how they programmed the scale and were were all in awe they just saw the pile and said so and so amount what i forgot was he said remember the game you were playing i watched the score output and did the math on all you playing that game and said they had x amount of tickets and the scale was off like 3 tickets but after the person left the lcd on the ticker choper sucked the bookeeping up it was a blast untill the RENT went threw the roof on water per gallon w all the leaks in the rest room they had a leaky valve somewhere just wasted water no bigge but the land lords sold the place to a ALDI the aldi grocery store never painted over the end wall behind the cooler wall they just put up metal drywall beams in front of it then finished the wall then added the other store to the end of the building and made a cool ramp like driveway for ther semi trucks you still enter in the all skate direction and shop in counter clockwise direction I guess its the layout of the building the expensive thing was the replacement roof ALWAYS remember to SEAL the cement in youre basement arcade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! use tar plastic tar then drywall like zbart... it works great its like driveway sealing the basement its works we did it at parents house when they built I said do it to the out side so they did we NEVER had a basment leak yet cause water is repled by tar.... OH crap back to tickets the kids came up and split the tickets in the group the WINNER who won 10 tickets and got my 100 distributed it anyway they wanted then i didnt have to worry about what they wanted so it cost me 75¢ or less to keep kids happy also i got to put 25¢ into game click on insta cue stopping a stuck but so it would win then just walk away from GAME that was the best I would just say ok lets behave kiddies now have fun.. then i would say green lycopeen then DJ would start a red light green light game and would say green lyma beans and every one would always move I wish they would have just combined the bank into a bigger HOLIDAY station store instead now i might start balling about cheap skate closing OH i forgot there still is one in coon rapids but its a cheep skate not a cheap skate!!!! althogh you almost have degjavue and swear youre in the other one!!! with the 4 way circle hanging white glass roller rink lights and the snak bar in the same exact place next to the left of the dj stand witch is left of the 1st entrance and left of the snak bar is the bday tables up higher then across from that are on the carpet hall next to the storage room is the mushroom sit down shoe changing carpet tables and lockers amuzement devices are stocked where ever there is a extra outlet and where they always are if any thing should be solar powered it would be a roller rink if they had a big enough basement they could have enough backup batteries to sell electriclty back to grid and with the wind generated by the skaters you could have the weather vane in the middle of the rink and convert it to watts I think i might have to go up to ROLLER GARDEN just to see it again.. naa mabie not... hmm that would be a good thing to do to the mall of america 3rd shift skate /dj sweeping that would be fun that would also be a great place to put a roller rink cause its the mega mall you could make it big enough the arcade would generate a place for kids to get tickets i could actually get a prize for playing ms pacman!! using comercial mame by playing pacman on galaga/mspacman just need pinouts from namco for ticket dispenser or $ slots pinouts for jamma!!!!! now next time I goto mystic lake i know what im going to tell WMS to get mspacman mode joystick to slot credit this way i could rack up credits playing mspacman and then get bonus wave to play mspacman but have 7's chase me instead of ghosts now that would be fun if it was a touch screen i could just blame it on screen crud IE joysticks fault then push change button/pause 10 seconds and get some drink or put my card in and goto restroom then swap to other lav card and unlock my paused game or just move it down one if someone chomped my seat i could just move the game using the tcpip fiber twinax useing the player card i could pull it out push it back in then push a special button and pause the game up to 10 minnutes to use lav then come back and play it on any same lcd type machine if you time out the credits go onto player card but you lost youre multipyer and stuff ..

I Fixed both flippers on the Grand Prix Pinball machine at chelet pizza . THen discovered one of the kicker coils was shorted out so i snipped the coil the owners has one on order !!! Now they have 2 working games out of the 3 they would be at the limit before needing amuzement device permit they are aloud 3 of them games!!.. It was awesome to actually play Grand Prix pinball its actually a fun pinball machine the high score is set at 530,000 or around 500 thousand witch is good cause its hard to obtian but not impossible the DAD has the machine set to be fun to play by kids so the ball goes super slow1!! sometimes it goes normal speed witch makes it a very interesting game and since I needed to move it to get the glass off to replace the flipper coils i left it in a really lame spot now its harder than it was before but since the OWNER was in the store I left it in the same spot it works great I came back the next day or so to see what was up and found they had the game circut breaker off so i said I wanted to get my plug strip witch i left and forgot i left it up there and wanted some pizza to boot... I got a personal sized 7inch pizza w sausage around $8 then i played 6 credits out witch were still there The Dad of the computer store Guy bruce 's dad was there and i asked him about the pinball machine and asked if he remembered the spiderman one and he did then he started playing player 4 and started to kick ass at the game like he had played it with his eyes closed and i reminded him i had trouble w the game getting stuck on ball 2 and he said does it still have a tilt and i said yes I left the Tilt Switch Plum Assembly alone. i think the one on the table it self had been bent out the way anyway i said it seemed to be stuck on ball 2 it was like the relay coil for the ball inplay coil was weak I remembered replugging the 3 5 ball plug assembly back on and heard when he was playing and i mentioned using the green 3m scrubbie on the rotorary logic pcbs and he was playing I said at least the doorbell chimes seem to work most of the time and are not super annoying but can still be heard at this point he stated to play soley on hearing the score and knowing by the timing where the ball was just by the noise of the relays then he said not only does the double score give you 50,000 points X2 meaning 100,000 points you only need to do that 6 times to go past 500,000 530,??? means credit at this point i said do you think the extra ball was lit or the extra ball got stuck and he fenagled since the left kicker coil only gives points on kicker coil closure hittng leaf switch using the coil to push it it drianed w out hitting kicker or any bonus points . i think he somehow knew how to get the ball 2 unstuck i said hmm sounded like the ball in play relay was stuck we said hmm extra ball was lit but bulb had crappy lead solder crud on it or was itr lit?? then i told him about a rubber binder kit w lights 3 packs on ebay for cheap then he said what about pole pos II i said find a cga screen from a slot machine and i will change out 4 bolts screen and r g b synk gnd and 110v and viola it will work .. I might just get a new screen then resell it or just wait but now the pinball machine works and you can have up 2 4 players it even goes up to 9 credits and even not on freeplay WAS SLAM SWITCH WAS OPEN NEEDS TO BE closed make contact at all times to hold take quarter relay on coin door!!!!!!! all door slots are 3x 25¢ slots... even thoug they were 5¢ 10¢ and 25 ¢ like the one my dad has at home a round up http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?gid=2026 the one i repaired was this one http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?gid=1072 once i get the kicker coil or coils i will replace the 1uF cap witch is only 25v i measured 26!!! with a 100V 1uF cap! same type cost 50¢ axeman surplus .. hmm schmatic addenumm on pdf says 200v if the one is only 25v then i can see the problem why the coil shorts on open.. now i need a huge ceramic cap 500v or more... more like a mov. sorry for the non grammacal ramble.. anyway i am happy I fixed the flippers I played p1 and p2 p3 then he let me round out last credits and killed odd ball 3 then i pushed the start button had no quarters using check card so i ordered pizza after using c machine at nearset store then came back and my pizza was DONE in oven waiting for me it was yummy . I m going back this weekend to spend some quarters and eat a nother mini pizza . also the tetris has been running since the last time i set the histogram settings bookeeping settings i will have to beg to use dip switch to see what it thinks then clear them so they can empty coin box WE use coin counter at closest bank to count our quarters who cares about a credit it is just that if i put a quarter in when its shut off the tetris will eat it!!! pinball machine has a coin door relay slam switch coil witch still works and rejects quarters witch is cool /.. when they decide to replace the screen in pole pos i will test using a computer power supply instead of the one they have since its not mounted then i can remove fuses untill only the if needed the isolation t former for the screen is only one needed then computer power supply can just be swapped if it blows ..

I remember Many arcades when i was a kid ALmost every store IN Minnesota had 1 or 2 video games at least grocery stores or convinence stores did at least . I remember Tom Thumb in New hope had some sea wolf type game witch was in color. then i remember some pizza parlor across hwy 169 in PLymouth had a Mr do and a nother game I cant even remember the other game I do remember argueing w the operator about the pizza shop being in Plymouth and he thought it was new hope so he said he had the free replay mode shut off cause NEW HOPE had some lame under 18 gambling law where you couldnt play games w credits on them so we couldnt play Pinball machines in new hope and i said whell whats the address of this pizza place and they said plymouth so the operator changed the dip switches on mr do so we could get the diamond replay... I also remember one of my favourite games was ROBOTRON 2048 witch was at a PDQ yes it ment pretty damn quick!! then also they had a rally x at a snyders at 4 seasons mall and they had a illegal 1941 in a strip mall corner store witch stated this game is not for use in any country than japan although noone cared the owner said ARE you going to bitch about the disclaimer or play i SAID i want change 4 a dollar.. then I remember RIDGEDALE had Picidilly circus witch is now a defunct henkin research totally empty and out of businness as is the gold mine witch was in KNOLLWOOD mall in st louis park witch is gone too.. I remember every mall had at least one arcade Ialso remember then they had a circus pizza on zane ave in b center i think it might still be there also new hope had a chucke cheese witch is gone The airport had a good arcade but since 911 you cant just goto the airport just to play video games!! the MEGA MALL HAS gillians and the sports bar witch are now both gone the sports bar had a pretty good arcade w at least 15 pinball machines and a lot of video games.. I also remember in robbinsdale mall they had a arcade I remember when they changed out DKONG plexiglass marquees witch now said © 1981 and you could not stand under the ladder I also learned you could chomp credits w a straw on any nintendo coin box that didnt have a mod.. there was a ice cream shop or was it a ole piper in pizza witch had a sit down lady bug I at 1st hated it but figured out i could walk home from school every day and play it in jr high untill i discovered the robotron in PDQ Also my brother when he got his licence would bring me to WALL drug to play DKONG and some other game i cant remember but we would stay there for more than 4 hours playing video games whell I spent most of the time just watching my brother cause he would TAKE my $ to play dkong I would get change right after he did so i could get 1's and hide them in other pockets so my brother woludnt take them He was really good at dkong I would always end up giving him quarters . Also i remember the uptown art fair i always would help my mom set up her displays then ask for food $ and say I wold be back in 1 hour but since i took my bike w i would just go up to byrant lake bowl and play pinball they would bitch you have to be 21 to be in the bar and i would just say im only in the arcade i said this is a bowling alley right then it has to have a arcade!! I got away w it I dont think they have video games any more but I do know some bars have ms pacman and galaga even a mrdo in fact most bars these days have at least 1 mspac/galaga combo or stand alone dedicated video game and most have the spend youre whole paycheck in one credit GOLDEN T 4 witch can suck a $20 bill in one game.. I also remember the Arcade at the state fair witch has got smaller and smaller now.. I also remember playing pinball machines at ski lodges too.. PS oh i just rembered more places witch had games 1 7-11 in hopkins had a pinball machine it was COMET. Then Chalet pizza still has a tetris game a Pinball machine and a sit down pole pos II too. I went in there about 3 months ago to see if the video games and pinball machines still worked and they had only one that functioned so i told them i could help fix them I fixed the tetris right away all i had to do was erease the high score table and bend both coin switches then onto the pinball machine I found out someone had it on free play witch they didnt want and the right flipper was broken I had the owner order a flipper coil kit and am planning to repair the flipper this week some time!! they also have a SIT DOWN POLE POSTISTION II witch has a line going across the screen THey say mabie they will some day replace the screen... as for the pinball machine if the new flipper coils work I finnaly figured out the free play thing on the credit wheel someone twisted two wires together and bent out the slam switch witch has to be closed all the time and now it takes quarters up to 8 credits!! so when i replace the flippers if the KICKERS dont blow a fuse it should work just fine. I also remember in ohio at a chineese resturant they had a hangly man pacman game it was cool. I also remember a mall in crystal had a pretty big arcade once witch lasted only like 6 months to mutch violence and fights broke out this was in the 80's I also remember marks something arcade by the school witch had like 4 pinball machines GRAND lizard and Black knight.. I also remember multiple places having 8 ball deluxe AND I remember in hopkins Main streets had 2 or more pinball machines and Archies had at least 2 at all times now its called DECOYS and i think they have 1 GALAGA/MSPACMAN combo machine and a buck hunter... ALSO brooklyn center WALL mart used to have a arcade w a air hockey table and some other games but its long Gone now.. I know bowling alleys have video games and pinball machines always!! and those are youre best bet to find a video game or pinball machine now!

that game was modified and the plug must have been plugged in upside down and w out a ground and was inporperly installed . YOU should have informed the owner of store You could have been killed . You were lucky. next time anything like that happens check the outlet cord to make shure its plugged in correctly. You know what i mean where there is subposed to be a ground pin on 3 prong plug that goes down. if outlet in wall installed right sideup! and the one on the left goes into the big one and the smaller one is HOT on the right goes to circut breaker and the ground does not tie to gnd anymore the grounds tie in box somewhere I cant remember exactly how they do it but i think there is now 2 sepreate grounds one for the whites and a seperate 10 foot ground rod for grounds I think this is a little insane and is a waste of time since most electronic devices that have a ground just tie all the grounds inside devices together anyway What would be the differnce I guess they want the ground tied in the electrical circut breaker box at the box not the outlet so the circut breaker can work this seems stupid why tie it at box this makes the whole wiring in house have to heat up instead of blowing up at outlet like it should has something to do with code Ill figure it out later I do how ever know all my games have 3 prong outlets and proper grounds I even grounded the screen on my 13 inch 8liner screen it says no isolation transformer needed . I use a computer power supply to run pacman pcb so I dont think it will be a problem! The chassis seems to have no connection to 110v comming in so i think its safe Besides the original wiriing for WIZARDS OF WOR has the chassis of the screen clamped to a ground wire but the 110v going into the screen has a isolation transformer. I had the same thing happen to me at the HOPKINS HOUSE from a KISS pinball machine when you touched the other pinball machine you would get shocked this was caused by some idot hooking a cheater plug into the plug on the kiss pinball machine and plugging it in upside down on purpose they said kiss wanted it that way I said crock I kept stealing the cheater plug and throwing it away finnaly i said YOU touch the other game now what if some kid got killed you would be sued Then they stopped doing it cause I must have scared them anyway mabie they just ran out of cheater plugs I wish they still had that game it was cool. it was missing a bumper cover!

This is why I'm moving mainly to portables. Just got a new-to-me PSP yesterday in fact. They're just so convenient, and with the DS and PSP, they've finally crossed the threshold on size, battery life, display quality, and computing power to keep my interest. I have been waiting paitently for someone to get a PSP that I knew or even was aquainted with cause i long ago downloaded a ATARI 800 emulator file for psp then could never afford one but have been drooling over one at pawn shop.... if you want emulator file i could find it for you

wow I do want you to know that you can still sleep harddrive after 3 mn in windows and it will wake up when it needs to I do this on my machines becasue i HATE the spin noise and one time. I had a seagate 20g break cause it kept scraping in one spot I guess now they use cache more and just tell heads to ignore the RESTING area untill there needed ;l, but i figured out Unless you use screensaver and sleep harddrive together ESPECCIALY suspend!! no no you can usually get away w 3 mn sleep and no screen saver no suspend and it wil almost evey time wake up YOU MIGHT pick 30 mn cause you might play for 30 mn unless youre kicking its ass in that instance you would have no problem waiting 11 seconds for it to wake up for a f12 SNAP of youre high score.. I once had a pci soundblaster dos driver working w freedos!!! it loaded setblaster= a220 i5 d1 p330 it was awesome and loaded into mspacman off of a 32M lyra rca compact flash drive to ide I was like so awestruck by it but now they have for $250 solid state harddrives I wont go threw that mutch stuff but at one time i did.. I also one day was screwing w gpedit.msc using the msdn version of xp witch bitched about activation before i figured out my dad told me they dont care just actvate I was like ok but since battery died in c-mos and i forgot to put new one in ! i used gpedit.msc to add logon script and had mame loading before logon screen and after so even though it wasnt activated i was able to run iexplore and mame before logon screen even started SO I activated then just switched back to oem version VOL licence version but forgot how i did the logon script I think i just took the pasted shortcut on desktop i pasted into startup mame32.exe -galaga -cheat then i pasted that link into logon script so it started before the logon script did so if you had wireless keyboard hooked to usb and mouse or happ trakball you could logon by pushng esc after galaga started this would be cool cause it would load mame before logon then you could start windows then if you logoff it could run mame again so you could have mame before logon and as startup in windows and as whell a logoff mame file so every instance it would load mame -c:\mame\galaga galaga -cheat I kind of envy that cabinet cause When i had the cabinet i still have in the avatar my space invaders cabinet i once used the b/w screen w laptop to to the same thing u did but w out lcd i used the original b/w space ivaders screen using the tvview in b.w i had only 2 colors it was awesome cause i only needed 2 anyway!!! i laughed when video card only loaded 2 colors i was like I only need 2 then i got 32bit back.. I even went online in b/w w mini track mouse and external keyboard wirelessly the mouse was wired but the keybaord was wireless About 5 years later JP figured out how to use mouse wirelessly then lost mouse.. I then decided to add color tv to space invaders cabinet then finnaly decicded to replace original all spaceinvaders COSTED $300 in boards on ebay but was whell worth it now i finnaly got a dell optiplex loaded in my room i was using as furnature as desk but now i can respond reply using it I also figured out how to share files w my self again I also got a new burner and READ 9316 Space invaders arcade roms from original space invaders pcb then decided to test w mame it WORKED all i did was hook to $16 ebay willem eeprom burner as a 2716 normal non tms then rewired pin 19-21 i guess pin 20 or something went to pin 19 on burner then one got gnded to pin 12 GROUND!! then whole right side I could leave alone those a1-9 a9 was all same so only pins 18-21 needed futzed and i had to add 12v -5v and 5v+ to chip to get it to read once read i didnt need it anymore just had to figure out how to FAKE one.. I actually DID it I read 9316 then played in mame.. now i know how to fake one where ever a10 needs to be then put so a tms 2716 needs a10 on pin 19 and non on pin 20 or somethng anyway i made 2 socketes into a converter to test 2716 in space invaders set up to read tms2716 chips witch need same voltage as 9316 but line a10 in differnt pin I actually got space invaders TEST rom from internet working... so now i can copy chips and modify new ones I also took my homebrew atari wilkson cart and made 4 new roms for it I had 5 new 2764 chips from hamfest w 26 pins so i decided to burn roms w new burner and they worked HACKEM runs on flashback II and on original atari 2600 sears arcade II witch is same as 2600 w fuky leds... I also tried to make my own 2600 cart using a 7404 w no luck have to ask more info about that but i think i am going to stick w buying a PIXELS PAST pcb and complete w pal chip to make it easy on my self .. The new power supply in mr do fixed the reboot problem and works great the power switch only like SpAce INVaders only shuts off screen so if i leave plugged in it leave computer (compaq spare) on so high score stays only running computer power supply no screen saves power and TUBE... even saves marquee cold cathode warm bulb.. also you dont have to worry there is a service on ebay to repalace LCD cold cathode tubes for laptops and TV's!!! so youre in luck if they get weak .. The Data east cabinet JUST SHUTS off completely.. The one day i had tv in space invaders cabinet i went online then booted to GALAGA then decided to restore SI I now have deluxe part II midway pcb in it but the glass is original space invaders even says BALLY® I still havent figured out how to change from 1500 to 1000 extra laser base But I will I want to beable to get over 5000 points before I futz w preset cheat mode witch is not avalible on MAME! but its cool you can start at any point level like 1000 2000 3000 4000 5000 6000 7000 8000 9000 its cool when you start at bottom 9000 level there already at past sheilds and are READY to overun base.. HEY I almost forgot YOU could ADD A Rip apart a vcr and ADD RCA plugs in back of arcade cabinet for VIDEO IN then play plug play or use tv tuner in cputer cpu and watch on new LCD tv!! . Does Galaga Have all sounds and did you get Mame32.exe added to the start button from 2nd desktop shortcut so you could mame32.exe -soundcard 1 -galaga to start up so to make this more understanable from desktop make new shortcut make shure ite a paste shortcut not just paste then after it makes a link right click on properties and in the run command box add -soundcard 1 -galaga after the mame32.exe and drag to startup then mame will run after logon!!! with galaga and if you have correct version like 067b it will skip discalimers and stufff.. and does it have the BANG.sam . to make it simple does it run galaga to youre specifications!? do you Like how it plays and WHATS youre NEW high score?. I would list mine but my arcade pcb keeps making credit noises and wont stop I decided to retire it.. to the board shelf and replace it w pacman. I might try to reserect it or ebay it? it says 1 9 8 2 and you cant shoot down during demo.. otherwise hornets act exactly same.. as REGULAR Namco Galaga . PS. have you tried the FAST shoot Galaga on the lcd yet probably FUN. if you use a round key you can nip off outer nipple on key for the lock then you can remove it open postision and if you dont have a saftey switch WITCH YOU wont need since you have lcd screen ! you colud leave coin door locked open like i do on my other machines then you can swing door open to flip credit switch then you wont have to futz w hidden keyboard! Was at wall mart Buying Food Yes Food Got 2 fruit punch ½ gallons for $2.00 . Anyway I saw A Atari Joystick in a new package it looked exactly like the other one the older package one w the weird (1) sticker version 1 sticker but the new one had no version 1 sticker as i think it was a marketing mistake cause there is only 1 version of the Atari Joystick , and they aparently didnt come out w a nother version!!! . The last one i purchased was $4.95 from thrift store it was hanging from its composite wires along w many many power packs I found a 5v+ dc power pack and permantly wired it to the power pack I think it from a pile of 5v power packs from routers someone gave me They said some school was throwing a hole bag of power packs away BUT W OUT THE ROUTERS I said ill take those.. I also rewired a single paddle plug play found Pal jumper left alone found 2player jumper and connections for extra paddle p1 p2 I removed internal Mini CRAP paddle it came with NOT EVEN 1 meg ohm pissed me off as we all know unless its a ATARI part number and 1meg ohm you will DIE in circus atari... so i used a REAL pair of Atari© paddles and hooked wire to the button hole they work great I also used a 5v+ power pack I didnt use 6v cause the board only needs 5v in the 1st place THE pacman mini joystick could use 6v because of the led's !! but since a power pack never gets weak like batteries i can get away w it!!! I wrote that cant u tell noone can read my hyroglyhphice even mee!! i had to assume color code by looking! thats the original wireing for WIZWOR PLAYER 2 jamma connections from klax wiring i stole and used for birdie king II I took some bad rally x pcbs after i fixed the one sold on ebay soldered all 72 jumper wires by hand replaced bad connections and sold good RALLYX to someone in italy . SO i used finger baord crunched then added own jamma connections to mrdo and birdie king and since MRDO only needs 1 control for upright i used p2 wireing for BIRDIE king as p1 when plugged into jamma hole corrctly.. so trak mouse has 5v+ from tatio POLE on left of birdie king pcb all threee poles including the 12v one are now on 5v cause i use external sound amp for bking so sound and game are all 5v I blew bking car amp up long ago!!! un uptown drunk in porch!!!! bad day.. anyway still get sound from vol knob pin!! then to external amp! works great.. thats what i need to replace so i can have back my atari power pack!. then back to usb mouse.. I dont remember if its even usb i didnt care just put 5v+ on 5v+ line on both opto iso trasnmit sides the bulb w only 2 connections the other ones need 5v+ then have two outputs up down or left right SAME AS the WICO ARCADE CONTROL I got from birdie king 1 pcb witch i took bking 2 roms from bootleg bking II pcb witch i blew trakball input chip and screwed up traces replacing chip after i learned JOYSTICK inputs for mame are trakball inputs!!!!! so using tiewraps I put the mini trakmouse with its modification scrapped all chip connections off and only used opto iso connections witch is all in wico one ALSO I JUST FIGURED OUT atari trak ball IS probably a WICO PRODUCT since I was able to STEAL black ball and use for arcade wico works great now i need rollers and new berings BUT want a HAPP lighted one then i could hook lighted led to keyboard lights that would be cool ... and now that i have compaq spare as power supply for arcade monitor if i got a jamma tv tuner i could run ch3 or video from tvview into arcade monitor.. OK back to nap time.

IE WIND MOVING mouse!!!... I thought that Monitor looked Comercial I didnt see any hints of any plastic crap from a wallmart TV type screen and it looked like a screen i saw at bowling alley but that one was 22 inch but quality looked the SAME GREAT bright as hell and CGA vga and stuff... oh its a mame computer hmm does harddrive sleep after 3 mn I just got my magic jack to work w harddrive sleep I had to delete 16 instances of enum usb usbstorr tiger jet devices then give permition for 32 instances to allow my self to delete it but harddrive sleeps and i can swap between laptop and big machine I leave it on one machine now! WOW... thats intense especcally i can run 1280x1024 32 bit UNREAL TORUNEMENT MODE... and it does almost all nintendo dos 0.72 modes!! nesticle 043! w sound! Also i can run mame.. remember if you need mame32 067 -soundcard 1 -noscanlines -skip_disclaimer -skip_gameinfo -rol1?? anyway some versions of mame32 allow you to skip game info booting right into mame also if you right click mame32 then paste onto desktop!!! take the pasted shortcut and gointo properties and after mame32.exe -galaga -cheat then the shortcut will boot galaga remember default and galaga properties in mame must be checked for skip game info then drag that shortcut to start up on start button then remove youre logon password for administrator.. IExample install xp pro on top of it self not console repair but other one then push shift f10 when it installs devices and change administrator paswsord to none then delete all other users or reinstall after you copy mame to a rom burn cd rom dvd rom who cares then when fresh install wants video card sound card network mother board drivers reinstall windows on top of it self AGAIN using the repair option not the repair console the one after f8 1st time pick fast format ntfs then once installed when it askes for administraotr password just leave it blank then when it boot to windows it will start on asking you user names... this is when you can just push shift f10 and type c:\windows\system32\taskmgr then kill msoobe or outof box experience or just push RESET button then you are administrator and you are ONLY user then goto secruity options make shure service called messenger is disabled then if sp2 already slipstreamed then stop and disable automatic updates then goto computer then delete user cn-vender microsoft.. then remove any logon as batch then remove any unwanted access computer from network and from terminal services. then very important. this is why home sucks goto asministrative tools click on local security policy then click securityoptions being administrator! then click on NETOWRK ACCESS Network PIPES that can be accessed anonymously delete ALL OF THEM! ' NETWORK ACCESS REMOTELY ACCESSED PIPES delete all of those too NETWORK ACCESS and SHARES that can be remotely accessed delete those too DAMN tiger jet! then click onto user rights Assignment click on access computer from network unless you want access from remote computer youre self delete all and same for terminal services delte all netowrk access now youre computer is tighter than a frogs but and if you still have tcpip you can go online also click on computer icon for system in control panel change remote to 1 minnute then disable remote now youre computer is secure and if it has sp2 then change impersonate client after logon only to administrtor or none I would leave this one alone. then if needed click share c: then advanced copy and give everyone complete access then you can install software when its installed take share away! this works for the other settings client and stuff but once done you wont have any holes unless you leave download active x on disable download active x after shockwave player and flashwave player installed then disable download active x then I usually leave all instances exept for local intra net active x disabled and all instances of download active x. then if you missed out on drivers for computer on 1st install you can reinstall ontop of it self again using the after f8 repair option leave system intact reinstall ontop of existing windows dir it fixes it but remember when it installs drivers push shift f10 then using taskmgr you can run cdrom install of mb drivers install via 4 in one or nvidia bus driver 1st then video then network and sound REMEMBER PULL MODEM OUT 1st move printer port and com ports around keep futzing w acpi routing untiull sound and netowork card work its best to have it working before you do a fresh install then sneak in tv tuner then turn on printer port if you use usb printer disable printer port but move out of way 1st cause it sticks to last setting like midi and game port ALSO I FINNALY FOUND crak for YAMAHA SYXG50 driver not even having to use crak i found WHOLE DRIVER seprate from crak in crak dir it had yamha driver and uninstall too all i have to do to play driver is change date to 1998 wilst playing then if i want microsoft gs wavetable i can leave date normal.. its awesome I dont need old soundblaster and ANY ac3 sound card is yamaha compatible it seems to fix swap from best to good sound problem w UT. also works w MRDO dos in dosbox 0.72 nesticle seems to work FULL SOUND NO CHOPPS using 1280x1024 lcd 60Hz mode also ut said 2048bit once!! hmm lcd must need 2048M to emulate a tubes computer chip... this is awesome... SO i have a 1400x1050 Lcd peice of glass but no board to connect to good thing i had 3 laptops!. once driver for video card installed in instaling devices you dont have to restart then windows loads kill out of box experince and become administrator and since you have no password or use userpasswords2 and automaticly logon or have no password and are only user remove security holes and remove guest logon locally... then you should beable to get it to START UP into mame32.exe -galaga -noscanlines -soundcard 1 -cheat GOOD LUCK. thanks for pointing out it was a mame cabinet. AT LEAST you can run lcd and not waste POWER like my huge iso transformer and my wells gardner power HOG. mabie you could goto microcenter and get 4 mini cold cathode tubes for case and use them in marquee instead of power hog 13 inch flourecent huge tube and its ballast!!!... ☺

Are there any slight (or major) differences in writing to that chip? Or is it pin-for-pin identical with burning as well as reading? EDIT: Nevermind, I found the AT28C64 datasheet. Thanks for the help oh here some more pdfs usefull I acctually read a space invaders arcade 9316 got chart of a10 and power from some pinball site now onto using two sockets and a 2716 to read as a tms2716 futzing w pins 18-21 you only need a10 and power and chip enable gnded (oe)(g) if you want to burn you need voltage on chip enable or select pin up to 25v depending on what pdf says but to read you only need 5v a normal 2716 a normal 2732 a normal 2532 only need 5v pgm and 5v read you need on willem j7 up j5 down!! and a jumper for usb off and put usb jumper on down postition use 12v speaker DC power pack if you need 25v then use 25v power pack and run jumper wire where pdf needs 25v a 24v power pack will work! good luck if any one needs a 2732 converted to a 2532 my old digelec burner can change types before program pushed I got arcade pacman fast and read SI chip 9316b and played it in mame! using willem in pcb 3 mode even though its a pcb35 i moved to pcb3 mode jumpers and loaded .97ja !!!!! moved usb jumper to vcc jumper hooked 12v smuckard bell speaker 12v dc power pack unhooked usb hooked the propoieteery printer cable it came w up to willem and it works $16 or so on ebay good deal for a burner ... here are the pdf files i have been useing the wilkson uses the larger 2764 chips and works great.. i wonder if the Atari trak ball in joystick mode would produce inputs for joystick mode?? or something useable in trakball mode??
