Last night I wanted to play a little ColecoVision before bed but the kids had the tube tied up with SpongeBob. So instead I went down to the basement and played my Galaga cab in the dark by myself. This is why I'm moving mainly to portables. Just got a new-to-me PSP yesterday in fact. They're just so convenient, and with the DS and PSP, they've finally crossed the threshold on size, battery life, display quality, and computing power to keep my interest.
I have been waiting paitently for someone to get a PSP that I knew or even was aquainted with cause i long ago downloaded a ATARI 800 emulator file for psp then could never afford one but have been drooling over one at pawn shop.... if you want emulator file i could find it for you

wow I do want you to know that you can still sleep harddrive after 3 mn in windows and it will wake up
when it needs to I do this on my machines becasue i HATE the spin noise and one time.
I had a seagate 20g break cause it kept scraping in one spot I guess now they use cache more and just tell heads to ignore the RESTING area untill there needed ;l, but i figured out Unless you use screensaver and sleep harddrive together ESPECCIALY suspend!! no no you can usually get away w 3 mn sleep and no screen saver no suspend and it wil almost evey time wake up YOU MIGHT pick 30 mn cause you might play for 30 mn unless youre kicking its ass in that instance you would have no problem waiting 11 seconds for it to wake up for a f12 SNAP of youre high score..
I once had a pci soundblaster dos driver working w freedos!!! it loaded setblaster= a220 i5 d1 p330
it was awesome and loaded into mspacman off of a 32M lyra rca compact flash drive to ide I was like so awestruck by it but now they have for $250 solid state harddrives I wont go threw that mutch stuff but at one time i did.. I also one day was screwing w gpedit.msc using the msdn version of xp witch bitched about activation before i figured out my dad told me they dont care just actvate I was like ok
but since battery died in c-mos and i forgot to put new one in ! i used gpedit.msc to add logon script and had mame loading before logon screen and after so even though it wasnt activated i was able to run iexplore and mame before logon screen even started SO I activated then just switched back to oem version VOL licence version but forgot how i did the logon script I think i just took the pasted
shortcut on desktop i pasted into startup mame32.exe -galaga -cheat then i pasted that link into logon script so it started before the logon script did so if you had wireless keyboard hooked to usb and mouse or happ trakball you could logon by pushng esc after galaga started this would be cool cause it would load mame before logon then you could start windows then if you logoff it could run mame again
so you could have mame before logon and as startup in windows and as whell a logoff mame file so every instance it would load mame -c:\mame\galaga galaga -cheat
I kind of envy that cabinet cause When i had the cabinet i still have in the avatar my space invaders cabinet i once used the b/w screen w laptop to to the same thing u did but w out lcd i used the original b/w space ivaders screen using the tvview in b.w i had only 2 colors it was awesome cause i only needed 2 anyway!!! i laughed when video card only loaded 2 colors i was like I only need 2
then i got 32bit back.. I even went online in b/w w mini track mouse and external keyboard wirelessly the mouse was wired but the keybaord was wireless About 5 years later JP figured out how to use mouse wirelessly then lost mouse.. I then decided to add color tv to space invaders cabinet then finnaly decicded to replace original all spaceinvaders COSTED $300 in boards on ebay but was whell worth it now i finnaly got a dell optiplex loaded in my room i was using as furnature as desk but now i can respond reply using it I also figured out how to share files w my self again I also got a new burner and READ 9316 Space invaders arcade roms from original space invaders pcb then decided to test w mame it WORKED all i did was hook to $16 ebay willem eeprom burner as a 2716 normal non tms then
rewired pin 19-21 i guess pin 20 or something went to pin 19 on burner then one got gnded to pin 12 GROUND!! then whole right side I could leave alone those a1-9 a9 was all same so only pins 18-21 needed futzed and i had to add 12v -5v and 5v+ to chip to get it to read once read i didnt need it anymore just had to figure out how to FAKE one.. I actually DID it I read 9316 then played in mame..
now i know how to fake one where ever a10 needs to be then put so a tms 2716 needs a10 on pin 19 and non on pin 20 or somethng anyway i made 2 socketes into a converter to test 2716 in space invaders set up to read tms2716 chips witch need same voltage as 9316 but line a10 in differnt pin
I actually got space invaders TEST rom from internet working... so now i can copy chips and modify new ones I also took my homebrew atari wilkson cart and made 4 new roms for it I had 5 new 2764 chips from hamfest w 26 pins so i decided to burn roms w new burner and they worked HACKEM runs on flashback II and on original atari 2600 sears arcade II witch is same as 2600 w fuky leds... I also tried to make my own 2600 cart using a 7404 w no luck have to ask more info about that but i think i am going to stick w buying a PIXELS PAST pcb and complete w pal chip to make it easy on my self ..
The new power supply in mr do fixed the reboot problem and works great the power switch only like SpAce INVaders only shuts off screen so if i leave plugged in it leave computer (compaq spare) on so high score stays only running computer power supply no screen saves power and TUBE... even saves marquee cold cathode warm bulb.. also you dont have to worry there is a service on ebay to repalace LCD cold cathode tubes for laptops and TV's!!! so youre in luck if they get weak .. The Data east cabinet JUST SHUTS off completely.. The one day i had tv in space invaders cabinet i went online then booted to GALAGA then decided to restore SI I now have deluxe part II midway pcb in it but the glass is original space invaders even says BALLY® I still havent figured out how to change from 1500 to 1000 extra laser base But I will I want to beable to get over 5000 points before I futz w preset cheat mode witch is not avalible on MAME! but its cool you can start at any point level like 1000 2000 3000 4000 5000 6000 7000 8000 9000 its cool when you start at bottom 9000 level there already at past sheilds and are READY to overun base..
HEY I almost forgot YOU could ADD A Rip apart a vcr and ADD RCA plugs in back of arcade cabinet for VIDEO IN then play plug play or use tv tuner in cputer cpu and watch on new LCD tv!! .
WOW and im not even tired but yet i RAMBLE on.. I am thinking of parting w a magnavox oddyssy II
like 4 carts . if anyone interested let me know where to post that

Does Galaga Have all sounds and did you get Mame32.exe added to the start button from 2nd desktop shortcut so you could
mame32.exe -soundcard 1 -galaga to start up
so to make this more understanable
from desktop make new shortcut make shure ite a paste shortcut not just paste then
after it makes a link right click on properties and in the run command box add
-soundcard 1 -galaga
after the mame32.exe and drag to startup
then mame will run after logon!!! with galaga and if you have correct version like 067b it will skip discalimers and stufff..
and does it have the BANG.sam .
to make it simple does it run galaga to youre specifications!? do you Like how it plays and WHATS youre NEW high score?.
I would list mine but my arcade pcb keeps making credit noises and wont stop I decided to retire it.. to the board shelf and replace it w pacman.
I might try to reserect it or ebay it? it says 1 9 8 2 and you cant shoot down during demo.. otherwise hornets act exactly same.. as REGULAR
Namco Galaga .
PS. have you tried the FAST shoot Galaga on the lcd yet probably FUN.

if you use a round key you can nip off outer nipple on key for the lock then you can remove it open postision and if you dont have a saftey switch WITCH YOU wont need since you have lcd screen !
you colud leave coin door locked open like i do on my other machines then you can swing door open to flip credit switch then you wont have to futz w hidden keyboard! I missed do you have a ipac keyboard interface and or how did you hook inputs to mame? -
Was at wall mart Buying Food Yes Food Got 2 fruit punch ½ gallons for $2.00 .
Anyway I saw A Atari Joystick in a new package it looked exactly like the other one the older package one w the weird (1) sticker version 1 sticker
but the new one had no version 1 sticker as i think it was a marketing mistake cause there is only 1 version of the Atari Joystick ,
and they aparently didnt come out w a nother version!!! . The last one i purchased was $4.95 from thrift store it was hanging from its composite wires along w many many power packs I found a 5v+ dc power pack and permantly wired it to the power pack I think it from a pile of 5v power packs from routers someone gave me They said some school was throwing a hole bag of power packs away BUT W OUT THE ROUTERS I said ill take those..
I also rewired a single paddle plug play found Pal jumper left alone found 2player jumper and connections for extra paddle p1 p2 I removed internal
Mini CRAP paddle it came with NOT EVEN 1 meg ohm pissed me off as we all know unless its a ATARI part number and 1meg ohm you will DIE in circus atari... so i used a REAL pair of Atari© paddles and hooked wire to the button hole they work great I also used a 5v+ power pack I didnt use 6v cause the board only needs 5v in the 1st place THE pacman mini joystick could use 6v because of the led's !! but since a power pack never gets weak like batteries i can get away w it!!! The mini pacman i got off amazon NEw from some promo $ left over from my amazon GIFT per week thingie I guess i made out that week.. I didnt see vana white on the wheel of fourtine box.

Looks Awesome..ONLY 1 question how can u play Galaga on lcd must be like 2ms responce or is it a Computer monitor LCD?
<<<SNiP>>>
anyway looks nice bright too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also the mini LED marquee looks cool too .. and NOS sticker on Control panel looks like
you just removed the backing and just pressed it on that day you took pic!..
whole thing looks mint I would turn it off put 50¢ in then plug it back in then put a nother 25¢ in and play just to GIVE u 50¢ cause cabinet looks nice...
If i was there i would just hand the LUCK $ over...
<<<SNiP>>>
also if its a REAL Arcade pcb? i forgot by now I think Mikes arcade still has HIGH score kits w dip menu on and in menu so you wouldnt have to futz w dips...
It is a MakVision LCD monitor from Suzo-Happ. It doesn't miss a beat but you can get tech info on the monitor from their Web site.
I did indeed take a pic the same day the side art was put on. A tip on applying Galaga side art is to use the hinge method and tape the art on the bottom and squeegee upwards. Two people is a plus to do this job.
I'm thinking of wiring up the coin door so that the game runs demo mode. On Free Play it sits there at the same screen. Does LCD suffer burn-in just as CRT or is there some space age technology that eliminates this.
I forgot to take pictures of the inside of the cabinet, but it is PC based MAME powered. I don't have the technical know-how to support PCB.
Lastly, on your Mr. Do! control panel, is that the original notes for wiring or did you write that?
I wrote that cant u tell noone can read my hyroglyhphice even mee!! i had to assume color code by looking!
thats the original wireing for WIZWOR PLAYER 2 jamma connections from klax wiring i stole and used for birdie king II I took some bad rally x pcbs after i fixed the one sold on ebay soldered all 72 jumper wires by hand replaced bad connections and sold good RALLYX to someone in italy . SO i used finger baord crunched then added own jamma connections to mrdo and birdie king and since MRDO only needs 1 control for upright i used p2 wireing for BIRDIE king as p1 when plugged into jamma hole corrctly..
so trak mouse has 5v+ from tatio POLE on left of birdie king pcb all threee poles including the 12v one are now on 5v cause i use external sound amp for bking so sound and game are all 5v I blew bking car amp up long ago!!! un uptown drunk in porch!!!! bad day.. anyway still get sound from vol knob pin!! then to external amp! works great..
thats what i need to replace so i can have back my atari power pack!. then back to usb mouse..
I dont remember if its even usb i didnt care just put 5v+ on 5v+ line on both opto iso trasnmit sides the bulb w only 2 connections the other ones need 5v+ then have two outputs up down or left right SAME AS the WICO ARCADE CONTROL I got from birdie king 1 pcb witch i took bking 2 roms from bootleg bking II pcb witch i blew trakball input chip and screwed up traces replacing chip after i learned JOYSTICK inputs for mame are trakball inputs!!!!! so using tiewraps I put the mini trakmouse with its modification scrapped all chip connections off and only used opto iso connections witch is all in wico one ALSO I JUST FIGURED OUT atari trak ball IS probably a WICO PRODUCT since I was able to STEAL black ball and use for arcade wico works great now i need rollers and new berings BUT want a HAPP lighted one then i could hook lighted led to keyboard lights that would be cool ... and now that i have compaq spare as power supply for arcade monitor if i got a jamma tv tuner i could run ch3 or video from tvview into arcade monitor.. OK back to nap time.

whell I think it would take FOREVER my dad gave me a TOSHIBA laptop where the Start button had a slight burn in but since it is where the start button is anyway you cant see it!!!! remember that computer sat in the sun all day I was told... ALSO you can just put screen saver to blank after 30 minnutes and harddrive 3 mn cause if you use a IPAQ a keybaord interface device from uk for mame once someone touches keyboard screen will wake up..
JUST DONT turn it on off on off on off like burger board at BK USED to be like.. NOW THEY HAVE A 2600 basket ball TIMER like thing on all bk boards to show DRIVE TREW LAST TIME our record was 30 seconds on a drive off!!!!! mostly it sits at 3:59 or 3:00 it seems to not make it past 4 mn it resets it self..
but the old burger board i got for free is TOAST cause cold cathode tubes all 4 were black on ends just like the ones in the ceiling!!! I wouldnt worry about burn in..
I had a mame cabinet ok it was just computer in porch but it was set up like mame cabinet it had screen saver after 15mn then if you touched a key like 1 2 5 3 6 7 or t or control or alt or space bar or arrow keys or any key it would go off of blank screen and if you needed harddrive it would wake... IE WIND MOVING mouse!!!...
I even had blinking keyboard leds!!! remember if you like asteroids use old mame32v 035 asteroids has disclaimers but sounds awesome pick 1152x864
if you need more mame versions pm me! I have lots. I think i have arcade.exe too I got at hamvention one year it had some licening paid up I dont know witch ones or anything about it.. As long as its for informational purposes and not used in a bootleg PCB you can run mame.. SO how many frames does mspacman go on that lcd when you push f10 f8 ? more than 1000/60 you have fast machine better than p III 512K more like P4

I thought that Monitor looked Comercial I didnt see any hints of any plastic crap from a wallmart TV type screen and it looked like a screen i saw at bowling alley but that one was 22 inch but quality looked the SAME GREAT bright as hell and CGA vga and stuff... oh its a mame computer hmm does harddrive sleep after 3 mn I just got my magic jack to work w harddrive sleep I had to delete 16 instances of enum usb usbstorr tiger jet devices then give permition for 32 instances to allow my self to delete it but harddrive sleeps and i can swap between laptop and big machine I leave it on one machine now! I did how ever get a new 20 inch acer monitor at G sale for only $20
and WOW 1280x1024 60 HZ looks more like the 1152x864 mode looks on my tv threw the tvview but w no choppyness its like LCD BLISS
so put windows into sony kl7000 mode monitor unclick hide modes and start at 800x600 and go up untill you find its LAPTOP CRYSTAL CLEAR DROOL MODE!!!!!!!!
I found out on my laptop after installing my new ati driver I used the n610c older version on hp.com and it wasnt coruppt it went into 1400x1050!!!!! 32 bit automaticly!!! WOW...
thats intense especcally i can run 1280x1024 32 bit UNREAL TORUNEMENT MODE... and it does almost all nintendo dos 0.72 modes!! nesticle 043! w sound! Also i can run mame..
remember if you need mame32 067 -soundcard 1 -noscanlines -skip_disclaimer -skip_gameinfo -rol1?? anyway some versions of mame32 allow you to skip game info booting right into mame also if you right click mame32 then paste onto desktop!!! take the pasted shortcut and gointo properties and after mame32.exe -galaga -cheat
then the shortcut will boot galaga remember default and galaga properties in mame must be checked for skip game info then drag that shortcut to start up on start button then remove youre logon password for administrator.. IExample install xp pro on top of it self not console repair but other one then push shift f10 when it installs devices and change administrator paswsord to none then delete all other users or reinstall after you copy mame to a rom burn cd rom dvd rom who cares then when fresh install wants video card sound card network mother board drivers reinstall windows on top of it self AGAIN using the repair option not the repair console the one after f8 1st time pick fast format ntfs then once installed when it askes for administraotr password just leave it blank then when it boot to windows it will start on asking you user names...
this is when you can just push shift f10 and type c:\windows\system32\taskmgr
then kill msoobe or outof box experience or just push RESET button then you are administrator and you are ONLY user then goto secruity options make shure service called messenger is disabled then if sp2 already slipstreamed then stop and disable automatic updates then goto computer then delete user cn-vender microsoft..
then remove any logon as batch then remove any unwanted access computer from network and from terminal services. then very important.
this is why home sucks goto asministrative tools click on local security policy then click securityoptions being administrator! then click on
NETOWRK ACCESS Network PIPES that can be accessed anonymously delete ALL OF THEM! '
NETWORK ACCESS REMOTELY ACCESSED PIPES delete all of those too
NETWORK ACCESS and SHARES that can be remotely accessed delete those too DAMN tiger jet!
then click onto
user rights Assignment
click on
access computer from network unless you want access from remote computer youre self delete all
and same for terminal services delte all netowrk access
now youre computer is tighter than a frogs but and if you still have tcpip you can go online
also click on computer icon for system in control panel change remote to 1 minnute then disable remote
now youre computer is secure and if it has sp2 then change impersonate client after logon only to administrtor or none I would leave this one alone.
then if needed click share c: then advanced copy and give everyone complete access then you can install software when its installed take share away! this works for the other settings client and stuff but once done you wont have any holes unless you leave download active x on disable download active x after shockwave player and flashwave player installed then disable download active x then I usually leave all instances exept for local intra net active x disabled and all instances of download active x.
then if you missed out on drivers for computer on 1st install you can reinstall ontop of it self again using the after f8 repair option leave system intact reinstall ontop of existing windows dir it fixes it but remember when it installs drivers push shift f10 then using taskmgr you can run cdrom install of mb drivers install via 4 in one or nvidia bus driver 1st then video then network and sound REMEMBER PULL MODEM OUT 1st move printer port and com ports around keep futzing w acpi routing untiull sound and netowork card work its best to have it working before you do a fresh install then sneak in tv tuner then turn on printer port if you use usb printer disable printer port but move out of way 1st cause it sticks to last setting like midi and game port ALSO I FINNALY FOUND crak for YAMAHA SYXG50 driver not even having to use crak i found WHOLE DRIVER seprate from crak in crak dir it had yamha driver and uninstall too all i have to do to play driver is change date to 1998 wilst playing then if i want microsoft gs wavetable i can leave date normal.. its awesome I dont need old soundblaster and ANY ac3 sound card is yamaha compatible it seems to fix swap from best to good sound problem w UT. also works w MRDO dos in dosbox 0.72 nesticle seems to work FULL SOUND NO CHOPPS using 1280x1024 lcd 60Hz mode also ut said 2048bit once!! hmm lcd must need 2048M to emulate a tubes computer chip... this is awesome... ALL you have to do now is DONT THINK cheeseburger capital one when changing cold cathode tubes! trust me not a good idea broke laptop ribbon cable connector ribbon cable ok! SO i have a 1400x1050 Lcd peice of glass but no board to connect to good thing i had 3 laptops!.
once driver for video card installed in instaling devices you dont have to restart then windows loads kill out of box experince and become administrator and since you have no password or use userpasswords2 and automaticly logon or have no password and are only user remove security holes and remove guest logon locally... then you should beable to get it to START UP into mame32.exe -galaga -noscanlines -soundcard 1 -cheat
GOOD LUCK. thanks for pointing out it was a mame cabinet. AT LEAST you can run lcd and not waste POWER like my huge iso transformer and my wells gardner power HOG.
mabie you could goto microcenter and get 4 mini cold cathode tubes for case and use them in marquee instead of power hog 13 inch flourecent huge tube and its ballast!!!...
☺

Yes.I think I've been using the Atmel AT28C32 (in the DIP package) for 4k games. However, this chip is no longer listed on their website, so it's probably out of production.
They do appear to still make AT28C64, which is an 8k chip. It could be used with 4k games on an 8k board by doubling up the ROM first.
At any rate, another mfr. might still make 2832/28C32 chips.
Are there any slight (or major) differences in writing to that chip? Or is it pin-for-pin identical with burning as well as reading?
EDIT: Nevermind, I found the AT28C64 datasheet. Thanks for the help

oh here some more pdfs usefull
I acctually read a space invaders arcade 9316 got chart of a10 and power from some pinball site now onto using two sockets and a
2716 to read as a tms2716 futzing w pins 18-21 you only need a10 and power and chip enable gnded (oe)(g) if you want to burn you need voltage on chip enable or select pin up to 25v depending on what pdf says but to read you only need 5v a normal 2716 a normal 2732 a normal 2532 only need 5v pgm and 5v read you need on willem j7 up j5 down!! and a jumper for usb off and put usb jumper on down postition use 12v speaker DC power pack if you need 25v then use 25v power pack and run jumper wire where pdf needs 25v a 24v power pack will work! good luck
if any one needs a 2732 converted to a 2532 my old digelec burner can change types before program pushed I got arcade pacman fast and read SI chip 9316b and played it in mame! using willem in pcb 3 mode even though its a pcb35 i moved to pcb3 mode jumpers and loaded .97ja !!!!! moved usb jumper to vcc jumper hooked 12v smuckard bell speaker 12v dc power pack unhooked usb hooked the propoieteery printer cable it came w up to willem and it works $16 or so on ebay good deal for a burner ...
here are the pdf files i have been useing the wilkson uses the larger 2764 chips and works great.. I actually booted hackem using my flashback II cool.

I don't have a video camera so I can't do anything for YouTube. However, even though this thing works very good, it still has some imperfections.
Because of how you hook up the signals you won't be able to change camera angles. You will always have the camera zoomed on you as you move around the playfield. There are some playfields that you may want to zoom out to see everything but you cannot do that with an optical encoder.
Another imperfection is that it interferes with the second joypad (in port two) while doing the warp levels. You can go right, up, and down but not left. And you can't rotate the letters around when you get a high score (but you can rotate them with the second joypad in port two).
I do believe that this is a solvable solution but I need to do some research and ask the right questions to the right people.
i wonder if the Atari trak ball in joystick mode would produce inputs for joystick mode?? or something useable in trakball mode??

Any chance of a video of this device in action?I could make one using the MR do cabinet w converted thumb mouse but would have to change a fake jamma connector.
if you really want a video I will have to hook up the wico control ill just take a picture of that since i think its still connected to arkanoid pcb
i have since forgot about it I dont have $70 for a happ controls REAL spinner w gear reduction and purple/black custom hard coated knob
ewwww cooool mabie a chrome one!
completeed?? u have video of youre cabinet?
ill take a picture of mine now i want to play Bk birdie king II anyway!!! brb have to change out power supply .
ohhh crap 1st mabie I should take before pictures of power supply and huge MIDWAY transformer im going to
scrap for copper! then i can take pics of control panel.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...bayphotohosting
try that you would like it the red wire gets 5v the black goes to GND and there is up down left right ok each roller has a up down or left right infre red recive led for each direction and one transmiter 5v+ that opto hole sees.

hmm double hmm on the actual wheel readers there are three led type thingies one is a infra red transmiter like on remote control on youre tv remote witch takes 5v dc the other 2 are receiver leds ok not led's but ir receiver and ir transmiter
.. i dont know the names of the led type things but i do know for my arcade birdie KING II it says joystick inputs whell its trackball inputs and for a game like tempest I could see the problem might lie in that those happ controls ones you see on ebay for $70 are gear reduction ones witch go super fast at the opto wheel witch might be why covering holes w black stuff pruduces faster pulses but less of them so i assume if you can remove black stuff it would mean its reversable??
is this making sence or am i rambling again.

DROOOL AS THAT WOULD MAKE A EXELENT Arkanoid controler for my arkanoid arcade pcb and there is already a hole in my data east cabinet w a notch in ring hole for mounting sutch device..... I was using a wico arcade birdie king trackball then found out when i ripped the Atari black trackball that the berings were not the same size boo hoo but i did steal the black ball and swap it w the white wico one and both seem to work great now..
looks like you did a good job..
Question are you going to need the charactor generator sony thingie cause I would like to know if the key switches are indvidual as my data east cabinet's start buttons are single keybaord buttons... and i need 2 of them if not no biggie .. since the spinner you took from the sony is exaclty wired like i thought it was red 5v+ black gnd and up down or left right depending on how you use it... you could if you needed use a crappy old mouse scroll opto to use on sony if you ever needed to use it I seem to think you only wanted it for the spinner ...?

WOw you have a Great basement
I was lead here by a thread lead me here
I only have like 1 blue rubber maid standard sized TUB plump full of Atari Stuff.
I also have a ½ tub of modem a thiland dial up mpp modem dials pulse faster than touch tone used to be and some 850 modules..
I envey you having a basement .
I bet You could make a bundle selling schamtic like PLANS construction pdfs of blue prints on a auction site and make a lot of $ easly!..
I like how the Red 1982/3/4 newer ones like jr pacman look and the 7800 ones silver cool too and the PULL handles on that brand the whole thing looks cool I also like how you removed some partitions to set upright so we could see the lable FACE hhm let see now on left top right being row 1 column 1 that would be cart named ? but row 4 column 14 15 16 and 17 is snooopy witch looks cool upright..
any plans to post complete listing???

My Brain locked up need a nap too many titles to try to infer from picutre I like finished basement looks cool dont know why that shelf is there but it looks as if it was really convinent for that cart rack.

check battery compartment connections once you get it open you might need to use two screw drivers one to pry wilst the other one unscrewing stripped door screw standoff witch broke off plastic you might need wire cutter SNIPPERS and start nibbling screw hole out once you get it open just snip off battery wires and use a 6v power dc power pack 5v should work but 6v ideal... reason i snip battery wires incase kid puts batteries in there just snipped off and then they plug in and works this usually requires a cheap brown or white extention cord to allow unit to be in same spot it was when on batteries..

hello I would if you still have the tube message chris25810 on ebay ask a question about a nother type chassis than the one you want so you are not
interfering w current ebay acution example he was selling a 13 inch monitor so i asked about a k4600 series monitor chassis on the 13 inch auction in general question about monitor!!! and I found out he was only 20 miles away I drove over w cabnet since wiz wor has wheels and he said ok youre 3 boards from ebay were worth less than you paid junk but he said since i could use parts and flybacks were probably good exept the one i had had finnaly cracked must have been the day it started to rain at state fair when was in outside tent in midway!!! I remember that I played silverball mania pinball...
anyway he said i usually get like $75 for that board I said i only have like $$ and need $ for gas he said ok if thats all you have in pocket was like more than ½off that was only cause i let him test my screen in his frogger bench tester!!! it was so cool to see frogger on my wiz wor screen I already changed it from horizontal to vertical just using brakets from home depot real easy if you have a helper to hold tube whilst you install brackets just long metal pieces w holes drilled in them to extend horizontal mount longer to hold tube verticly deguass coil not hooke and dont plan to gnd ok but still using the smaller MIDWAY transformer as existing isolation transformer!!!!!!!!!!! important to use line filter/isolation transformer on screen to seperate it from game pcb supply and game pcb via sync red blue green gnd .
I had a k4616 series monitor and he said same thing chris has other types of montors too probably could get youre screen you used to have if you still have old tube if neck pins yoke and screen is not cracked and you know soldering and can remember witch wire goes where you could swap chassis pcb and get old one back on! then you would need vga to cga arcade or arcade to vga or jamma tv then use scan converter like tvview.. there are a lot of options you should think about what you want ..
? are you making a Galaga cabinet using side art stickers and control panel? and real arcade pcb.
remember using a computer power supply just solder the ps on green wire from the atx connector and then u have crowbar saftey short circut power on reset type protection Normal arcade power supplys just short out FIRE HAZARD computer power supplys DONT HAVE THAT PROBLEM at least the new p4/athalon dual core type ones you dont probably need more than a old compaq power supply those do the power crow bar thing and squeal when you short them out plus you could use both arcade pcb and computer and just swap plug and use computer printer parralell switch and just snip off old printer cord and wire to screen then chop two more and hook one to computer and the other to galaga pcb then find a computer to cga converter pcb and u could use arcade monitor but jamma tv would allow you to use a tvview non pci external scan converter and you could just use tv w composite in and rf mod or just use a video input on newer tv you would then need cga to composite for the real galaga pcb!.. I have a tvview they are great ! on a 20 inch memmorex regular tv using my vcr since it only does ch3 or zenith cable box rf mod i can read 800x600 i can bareley read 1152x864 but it will do 2048x1536 at 200Hz you cant read it but it looks cool 1400x1050 added into custom mode on nvidia custom mode is cool I usually pick 640x480 or 800x600 when using my tv to surf net .. I had the tvview hooked
http://pcpowerzone.com/tvmipcvico.html
the device find on ebay or amazon cheaper
I had it hooked to my space invaders monitor since i had chopped the video to the screen and added a rca female on screen side and male on pcb out side this way i could watch espn on my arcade cabinet nice grainy basket ball in b/w on my sylvaina super set!!!!!!! ok its a wells gardner but it says sylvaina on screen!!! .. i can do 800x600 and still read it i have to choose high contrast mode cause colors wont raster on b/w it just makes differnt patterns looks cool then i ripped it back out and repaired space invaders pcb took out computer amd k62 and replaced arcade 11-5-79 midway space invaders board w a deluxe space invaders board and deluxe cocktail II sound board and after $300 boards later off ebay to figure out all 8 lm3900's need chaned it now after new 330pF and 470pF not uF changed out now flyby ship hit noise works and i am using some huge cement/ceramic little devils resistors wirewound resitors to get 7.5v from 12v dc and sound amp never gets hot I also figured out most arcade sound amps come on w 5v and if you need 7.5v radio shack sells car lighter socket to 7.5v adaptors witch is safer than using 12v cause it wont over heat.. I know for a fact the hitachi chips in pacman need pure DC not centertaped ripple dc .. so if i was u i would think about weather u want mame cabinet or dedicated galaga but think about using vga to cga or v and cga to composite and tvview or computer monitor and cga to vga board... and use printer switch to swap arcade pcb and computer then use only one computer power supply plug and two computer supplys the green atx ps on wire to gnd then unsolder all but 12v 5v unles you need arcade space invaders or golden t4 you wont need -5v or 3.3v orange ones or white one. arcade supplys wont crowbar and will keep running and blow youre chips a computer power supply usually just shorts out and crow bars sqeeks and will reset if unpluged for 1 minnute.. an arcade one you cant turn it off or on its always putting out 12v it wont sence a short like computer power supply and we all know tolerances for computer power supplys dont need adjusting for 5v!!!!! GOOD LUCK

I apologize wholeheartedly.its cool man
YEA now i need more Atari's mine is a Real 2600 but looked at it and noticed its two differnt kinds of cases the bottom is a puny 4 switcher w the super CAN RF sheild type and the top peice is a normal 4 swicher but when using a old Atari for the Case you can use the CH3 ch4 switch for b/w color and the color/bw switch for game built in chip select enable or cart slot enable and if you scrape whole b/w switch foil away in middle its single throw double pole it has two switches in one mine up is cart and down is built in so if the homebrew cart is in and i flip to it it usually boots if it was Started in the Flashback menu 1st and i chose game then it usually stays Today the switch got stick and one of the sides slider got stuck in the down postision and the internal crap crock was still connected and it made chunks NOW I WISH I WOULDNT HAVE mutilated the old Flashsback BUT I DID KEEP THE CASES if anywone needs a unbuthcarded flashback II case one has lable and the other one dont otherwise they look good .
GEE BOTH THOSE Look the same to me from the front they both look great ...

That problem was overlooked in the last version. I had forgot to include their specific horizontal box position when performing a monster reversal (so it moves out of position to a map location that has no directions...and then picks one at random). This is corrected here. I'm not sure, but the screen roll could have come from there (since the game must make 6 passes through the map routine to come up empty). In addition, there was also the bug of "plus" variations that only feature 1 or 2 monsters...if an energizer is eaten, 1 or 2 are allowed to stay lethal. But the game doesn't "know" which ones when doing the sound effects...so that the energizer sound effect would sitll be active even if neither of the monsters change to blue. This is fixed as well.
the one i was just playing was cool the invisible ghosts were eaten up and i was like wow the walls came back on it was kind of trippy i wasnt expecting that game variation when trying on real cart burn test anyway were the invisible ghosts subposed to be lethal and the visible ones subposed to be blue? that sounds like typical dislexia now what would be super cool is if the invisible ones poped in and out for a while then music rebooted like ms pretzel does then the invisible ones poped in for a second then went back invisible color not important but pink would be default player missile color proably easyer then the other ghosts could be blue I bet that would take a whole line by line anaylys t figure that out huh. HOW THE HECK DID YOU FIT A game that you would think take up more than 8k into a 8k file/???? you must know Atari C abreviations for whole lines of code that only take 3 lines .. of code ANYWAY hats off to Nukey Shay Greatest Atari Programmer in this forum.!

I dunno...intermissions work fine in Z26 and Stella (that is the extent that I can confirm first-hand). Yours is the first post that mention a problem with easier game modes, so I gather that it may be unique to your emulator setup. I never heard about them not appearing on real hardware.Ms. Hack has me completely lost. I never discovered a reason why it fails (and I did look into it a LOT of times)...and have no means of checking it line-by-line on an actual console to try to figure out why the boot sequence fails. It's based off a stable version of this game, so it's not doing anything unique when booting.
If anybody does discover why, Stephen Anthony is also interested so that he can update Stella (for more accurate hardware emulation). I wonder how many times he's had to try to make a game NON-playable?

redirect me to file and ill try it sicne i got 4 extra chips left over from HAmvention... Ill try it on Real 2600 if you want ..

A little off topic but on topic of GAME '''HACK'EM(.BIN'''
Hello All
Guess What I got A NEW EE PROM BURNER its a new willem my old one probably works dont have a clue old one is version V3.1 anyone want to make offer on old one I will make it deal.... anyway not why i posted.. THE real reason i posted here is I ACTUALLY took a dreamcatcher Homebrew Cart and burned a actuall CART
of HACK'EM(.BIN and VIOLA it worked the new burner is version pcb3 jumper vpp jumper on vcc using 12v power pack jumper on VCC j6 on upper j7 on lower and ones next to socket on normal using 27c64 chips and since snoopy originally was 8k and so what my hacked crockrocks asteroid © 1981 hacked using hackomatic II by me was 8k i figured i would try hackem and by my surprise it actually burned and WORKED on BOTH FLASHBACK II witch sounds a little lamer than original atari 2600 A sears arcade II same 2600 guts just extra joy holes .
PS.
please PArdon my Grammer I was up all night futzing w WILLEM pcb35 only costed $16 plus SHipping on ebay.
I thought it was to cheap to work but i guess (Thailand) or Kittikunkarnchang(Thailand)co.,LTD makes stuff not to expensive witch works good.
PPS.
OH yeah the Cart board im using says REv 12 © Chris Wilkson but i think i got it from Dream catcher I cant remember but it works good now to check out the Atari Age ©I mean ® Store If i get a nother one working Ill send it to Nukey if you want one Since i like it so mutch.. I love HACK'EM(.BIN it says 2005 and the < moves on start screen I wonder what if 8k=2764 than what does the new version need I wonder anyway it was a success I didnt think it would boot but it did!..
PPPSS I had same problem w open gl but finnally figured out has something to do w zoom all i do is reinstall stella ontop of it self and that fixes it if you get rid of stella.ini GOOD LUCK

Nice but I got one nitpick. Moon Patrol wasn't made by Williams, it was licensed from a company called IREM. I think.Did you know i was playing Moon patrol at arcade once and the Deco cassette with the music tape ate it self wilst i was playing and it locked up the whole game I told arcade operator and he said ''aw crap'' then proceded to open game to show me the lame cassette tape witch he had to splice i forget weather rom loaded from tape witch i dont think it did but i think it was for the game music anyway he said he hated it I think the tape thing was DECO irem i forget I did however get a buntch of credits and tokens that day.... also Jacks to open pinball machine uses same tape for music and can get stuck too!!!

I hope you post some pictures and youre project comes out great... REMEMBER IF YOU HAVE EXTRA $$$ wells Gardner had some upto 800x600 arcade monitors that still do cga too so you could have mame cabinet and arcade galaga pcb and use jamma to connect computer to controls ..

"Dangerous" tricks on a system/game that were actually pretty cool

that game was modified and the plug must have been plugged in upside down and w out a ground and was inporperly installed .
YOU should have informed the owner of store You could have been killed . You were lucky. next time anything like that happens check the outlet cord to make shure its plugged in correctly. You know what i mean where there is subposed to be a ground pin on 3 prong plug that goes down.
if outlet in wall installed right sideup! and the one on the left goes into the big one and the smaller one is HOT on the right goes to circut breaker and the ground does not tie to gnd anymore the grounds tie in box somewhere I cant remember exactly how they do it but i think there is now 2 sepreate grounds one for the whites and a seperate 10 foot ground rod for grounds I think this is a little insane and is a waste of time since most electronic devices that have a ground just tie all the grounds inside devices together anyway What would be the differnce I guess they want the ground tied in the electrical circut breaker box at the box not the outlet so the circut breaker can work this seems stupid why tie it at box this makes the whole wiring in house have to heat up instead of blowing up at outlet like it should has something to do with code Ill figure it out later I do how ever know all my games have 3 prong outlets and proper grounds I even grounded the screen on my 13 inch 8liner screen it says no isolation transformer needed . I use a computer power supply to run pacman pcb so I dont think it will be a problem! The chassis seems to have no connection to 110v comming in so i think its safe Besides the original wiriing for WIZARDS OF WOR has the chassis of the screen clamped to a ground wire but the 110v going into the screen has a isolation transformer.
I had the same thing happen to me at the HOPKINS HOUSE from a KISS pinball machine when you touched the other pinball machine you would get shocked this was caused by some idot hooking a cheater plug into the plug on the kiss pinball machine and plugging it in upside down on purpose they said kiss wanted it that way I said crock I kept stealing the cheater plug and throwing it away finnaly i said YOU touch the other game now what if some kid got killed you would be sued Then they stopped doing it cause I must have scared them anyway mabie they just ran out of cheater plugs I wish they still had that game it was cool. it was missing a bumper cover!
