Congrats Gorfy! I have never played a whole season of the HSC, and latelly i havent played at all, but i will definetly play some next season (don´t like emulation). My suggestions for next season: 1. Stay away from the rare games, since they are rare for a reason. 2. No homebrews. 3. No PAL or NTSC exclusive games. These suggestions is becouse a lot of us atarigamers like to play the games on the real hardware, with the real software. There are still a lot of pretty common games that never has been played in the HSC, and a shitload that havent been played since ages ago. Cheers!

Ok. I found some carts in a fleamarket around a park in fredrichhein (can`t spell it properly) last year, so i know the city got potential. Im really in to german 2600 releses, so im hoping to score some more cart. Hopefully som BIT corp releses i dont have. Do you know the name of that museum`? It seems to be my kind of museum. Prost!

Thanx for the info guys. Im considering AA (not atari age) meetings after this. Luckelly i didn´t pay 99.99 dollars for this (you realy gave me a scare there nofrills!). Sadly i did pay 10 BP + for it, witch makes it in to the top 5 carts i have payed the most for ever! I payed an equall amount for my CIB infernal tower last year (for comperision). I guess i thought that i was on a Swedish site and the opening price was 9.99 Swedish kronor for it (1 euro). I don´t collect carts from Brazil or any NTSC-cart for that mather, so if anyone want´s it, PM me an offer. Cheers!

Thanx for the response Stan. No, they dind´t do that in Sweden to my knowlish. The casing is identical on both sides, and i have never seen a casing like this before. My first guess was that this is a cart from Brazil, but why the english then? Heres a pic of the endlabel: Cheers. PS. I cant test the cart until next week, so i don´t know if it is NTSC or PAL (or if it even works). DS. Edit: The cart was bought from an english seller.

Hi all! I must have bought this cart after drinking a couple of beers to much, and i therefore was pretty surpriced when i got it in the mail. I have never seen this label before, so please help me out! The label is on both sides of the cart and the game is phoenix. Cheers!

If i understand correctly, u are supposed to play the game and have fun. The highest score wins etc. The scoreboard hasent been updated in 5 days, so guess that zero and Larcentyler handles thinngs in a simular way. Nothing to get upset about, but the same old, same old. !

57.990 I clear all the events but the only events that im good at is the ones u dont have to run due to using the keyboard. It´s impossible/hard to get decent speed up. Any tricks to this? Enyone ells using the keabord for this game?

Simple one(s) Do you actually play with your games in your collection, if so, what percentage of your collection do you play with)? I offcourse have played all my games, even the crappy ones. I have also opened every single sealed game i have ever bought. But since im also a collector i have the same game on some of my carts, only with difrent casing and so on. Do you collect more then you game? Some periods im more into playing the games and some periods im more into hunting a spicific cart down. do you play more then you collect? At most times thats the case. I only collect for the 2600. When it comes to the other machines i own (ps-1, ps-2, c-64, amiga) im 100% gamer. Then i also play a lot of other stuff with emulation, my favorits are: all types of yearly arcade games (play in mame), sega mega drive, sega mastersystem, NES, super-NES, game boy, GBA and colecovision. I also play a lot of the 2600 games i dont own with emulation, especially the NTSC only games. But its not as exiting as playing it on the actuall consol. I use to have all these consoles earlier, but i cant afford to buy games for all of them, so i sold them off to people that do, and play them with emulation instead. But from 2002 to 2005 i guess i was 99% collector spending 70% of my sallorie (atleast) on games and consoles in a pace that didn´t allow me to have time enough to play. Those were the dark days. So i guess im a gamer exept when it comes to the 2600, when im both. Since im souch a nerd when it comes to the 2600, i guess its like a arceologist ( i now i spelled that one wrong) wanting to own an artifact becouse he/she wants to physically touch and see a part of history. The same thing for me with the 2600 collecting. I dont go round and buy every game thats for sale. I collect focusing on serten companies etc. and really like the hunting part of it as well. Or i just buy a game that i want to play. Now when i think about it i guess Im becoming a bit of a collector when it comes to the c-64, becouse tapes for the c-64 usally are so damn cheap and easy to find in the wild here in sweden. I feel like a kid again loading the games on tape. And i guess i don´t whant them to get thrown away. Most c-64 collectors i now have focus on cartridges and discs. And what is the Price differential between what you paid for what's in your collection, then, with the present valuation of your collection (incl. rares/proto's etc)? I honestly have no idea. I guess since i have bought atleast 80% of my 2600 collection from people living outside my city and a lot from people in other countries and even other continents i will never get the money back that i spent becouse of the P+P i have spent getting them sent to me. I completly lack a business sence. I have sold some rare carts for way more then i payed fore them tough, but i guess my collection is worth less then what i bought it for. But i honestly don´t care about that at all. Cheers!

I agree! The marketplace is a mess. The last time i tried to adress the topic, i got people pissing themself, writing stuff like "Fuck of to epay" in my in box! So i have given up the idea about the marketplace bein organised. ;( Cheers.
