  1. Way cool license plate! I would try Stephen Beall or Damon Claussen at http://www.blastfromthepast.com/ Or... wait until Al gets some for the AA store.
  2. I get asked all the time about TRON. Most people are techie in nature and ask if I meant Trace On/Off... Silly people.... MCP rules the world!
  3. Great minds must think alike, Ron. I've had Atari as my plate here in NY for about 2 years now. Haven't had anyone stop me yet. John I had TRON for 3 years and decided it was time for a change.
  4. I picked up two frames at CGE last year from the folks at Blast from the Past Amusements. $5 each...
  5. Took about 2.5 mins to download. I have Sprint Broadband Direct here in Phoenix (5MB down)...
  6. I'm disappointed by the fact that my copy of Pick Up doesn't work (on any of my 4 different VCS's)... I need to write CGE Services and see if I can get a replacement.
  7. Sweet! I wasn't sure if Vol. 1 contained different commercials or not so I have been looking. Nice to know I don't need it now. Thanks for the info!
  8. Here are the before and after pics of my license plates. Before - After - Not that it matters but the car is a Saturn LS2.
  9. There is another interview with David Crane on the net too. Check out Shane Monroe's RetroGaming Radio show to hear some very funny banter with David as well as some other "stuff". The show (mp3) is 2 hrs long so be prepared for a large download (~26MB) or you can stream it via WinAmp. http://www.retrogamingradio.com
  10. Most of these appear on Sean Kelly's Commercial Archive Vol. 2 and I love 'em all! Now, I must find Vol. 1.
  11. David: No, the person mentioned in the above article (Alan Hewston) was clearly not the first person to ever achieve a perfect score on Pitfall. Alan was however the first person to ever submit absolute proof (videotape) to Twin Galaxies and that's why he got the recognition in that article. You are correct in that MANY people had a perfect score shortly after the games release. I currently have a list of over 40 names of people who have a perfect score on Pitfall but I cannot get in touch with them to a) verify the details or b) get them to register with TG so I can get them into the book of records.
  12. atarimastermarty - Yes, I probably should have put this in Classic Gaming General area and I apologize for the cross-post. Callipygous - Yes, it's a Saturn LS2 (read as a wannabe Camry). CrazyImpmon - Nope, no National Lampoons cars for me please.
  13. Take a look at these. Before - After - The new tags I got for my 2000 Saturn LS2
  14. You don't unfortunately... I would highly suggest selling your items separately (or at least broken down into smaller chunks). You will get a better price in the end.
  15. Here are the best scores for Activision Pitfall: http://www.twingalaxies.com/cgi-perl/searc...latformSelect=5 Here are the best "Time Remaining / Perfect Score" for Pitfall: http://www.twingalaxies.com/cgi-perl/searc...latformSelect=5
  16. Todd clearly got tired and started making mistakes and his game ended. Longer than I would EVER play that game... I get bored after 30 mins...
  17. Todd's 118k run lasted ~36 hours. No the game does not get more difficult after Day 7, at least I didn't notice any increase in difficulty from watching the run on tape.
  18. Yes, Todd is that good. I have his tapes (it was 36 hours of play). The scores are a mess-up in the dBase. All "scores" should be interpreted as follows: 6 6.754% 2,229 Ron Corcoran R Should read 222.9 km
  19. Mark: Be sure to send copies of your pics to me and I'll get them posted to the Twin Galaxies database and Book of World Records. Here's a link to view other Enduro scores: KM records: http://www.twingalaxies.com/cgi-perl/searc...latformSelect=5 Points Records: http://www.twingalaxies.com/cgi-perl/searc...latformSelect=5
