7800 Titlematch Pro Wrestling NEW SEALED, 99 cent start!
dinovelvet replied to dinovelvet's topic in Auction Central
I figured with all the sniping programs people use, it doesn't really matter what time it ends. Though having said that, there was no sniping going on in this auction -

I'm disappointed, to say the least. 23 watchers, and not one last minute bid? -

Yeah I did see your auction earlier. I had read some older threads in this forum that suggested the value of a sealed one would be more like $300+. Guess we'll see -
Chuck Norris/Artillery Duel CIB, Off the Wall CIB & more
dinovelvet replied to dinovelvet's topic in Auction Central
Oh yeah I am not worried about them going for just a buck (at least with some of them, anyway), I often play the wait-till-the-last-ten-seconds game myself -
24 hours left to go on some rareish 2600 and 7800 titles, including Chuck Norris/Artillery Duel complete mint in box, Off the Wall CIB, Dark chambers new & sealed, Tutankham CIB, 7800 Kung Fu master, and more. No reserves, all ending tomorrow, and most of them are still at around $1 http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZdinovelvet

I was checking my auctions today to see how many hits they were getting, and my jaw dropped when I looked at this one : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=120165426770 Nearly 2000 as of this posting, for a common recently released Xbox 360 game that's priced right around the average selling point. Now I'm paranoid that there's something unintentionally hilarious about this auction that I'm not seeing, or some bizarre keyword that's attracting all these hits! Any ideas? BTW if you want to look at my other stuff I have some sealed uncommon 2600 games.

Yeah that's how the games are sold at Costco

Another fun situation i am now dealing with on ebay!
dinovelvet replied to Atarimania75's topic in Auction Central
This is auction interference and I believe that even threatening it will get him quickly booted off eBay. Yeah I don't think ebay would take too kindly to that. Hell, if I was in your situation, and even if I had done wrong and knowingly sent him a dud game, that response from him is just outrageous. Just mail him back and say "Make it two years, bitch". -
Johnny 5 from the movies short Circuit 1 and 2 is now on ebay
dinovelvet replied to 8th lutz's topic in Auction Central
I'll buy it if Steve Guttenberg personally delivers it. -
I have a bunch of Sega Saturn games up for grabs on ebay, including new and ealed copies of Panzer Dragoon and Panzer Dragoon Zwei, with more games to come! Check out my auctions at : http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ5...sassZdinovelvet

The absolute worst game I think I've ever played.
dinovelvet replied to 2600Lives's topic in Modern Console Discussion
I'd just like to say I really enjoyed this game I remember the part you're talking about. It took me a few tries, certainly no more than ten though. I played it on the Xbox, maybe that made a difference. -
Yeah there is just nothing there to play. I am not a "fan boy" of consoles, I like to play games, period. I own a Wii and 360 because they have good games that I want to play. PS3's got nothing worth shelling out $500 for. Hell, even it if was $250, I'd still be struggling to see a reason to buy it. I took a look at the "big" title thats out there for the PS3, Resistance. Same old generic shooter gameplay. What do they have coming out that's going to make anyone drop their Wiimotes and throw down $500? -And realistically, you're still going to need $600. 500 for the console, 60 for at least one game, plus sales tax for all that = $600.

I guess there's one born every minute. I looked at his feedback, and noticed the same guy recently bought a used SNES with no games for nearly $50

Looks like a boxed silver Hangman...
dinovelvet replied to deathtrappomegranate's topic in Auction Central
No, because it is the 2600 version. If it was for the 7800, then yes. The silver box re-release of Hangman (1986 Atari Corp.) is quite desirable. I daresay I've seen far less of them than any other title in that lot. Oh I see, I didn't know there was a 2600 one actually. Luckily I have the 7800 version -

Surely its the Titlematch wrestling that's the real gem in that lot, eh? -
$4000 PS One ! ? Please explain this to me... 4 of them!
dinovelvet replied to Red 5's topic in Auction Central
This one didn't QUITE get $4K : http://cgi.ebay.com/SONY-PLAYSTATION-CLASS...1QQcmdZViewItem (Not sure the seller is living up to his username!) -
I would hate to see the retail price if this is wholesale
dinovelvet replied to taxman's topic in Auction Central
Why are they showing photos of Xbox, Genesis, and PSX games, but NOT A PHOTO OF THE ACTUAL ITEMS THEY'RE SELLING? LMAO - you get a free "game price guide" of $200 value? This guide will apparently tell you that Combat is worth $10. What a bargain! Seriously, this auction is "hall of shame" material. -
Yeah, pathetic. You don't feel like listing...that's ok, I don't feel like bidding My guess, he found this at a garage sale this morning for five bucks, thought "THAT'S ONE O' THEM ATAREES, AH HEARD THEY SELLS FER HUNNERDS ON THUH INNERNET!", and assumed everyone would be clamoring for his ultra rare item.
-
Interesting, he genuinely seems to think its called an Atrai, as he writes that word three times.
-
And that's some prize winning photography too! Not sure I understand his logic though, he claims the games are "super rare", and then posts the rarity guide so you can check how rare they are...and discover they are all common. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a scammer. Selling a large quantity of cellphones (stock photos only), seems a bit suspicious.

Are there any rare Xbox games yet?
