Rubik's Cube and Crazy Climber. Haha...you were close on one of them, the 7 is Atari Video Cube, and the two 8s (which I've just listed, same link as above) are the Robin Hood/Sir Lancelot double-ender, and Guardian.

http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?View...erid=dinovelvet Check out the link for 15 different Atari 2600 cartridges, all of which are 5 or 6 rarity. I'll have a couple more carts up tomorrow, including one 7 rarity and two 8s. What will they be?
-
http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?View...erid=dinovelvet I'm listing some rareish titles, its mostly 5 & 6 rarities right now but I'll have a couple of 7s and 8s up over the next week or so!

No Giant-themed 360 games that I know of. Sounds like its just an ad that is there to make you think about it, and therefore also think about the Xbox 360. Or, who the hell knows.

Is there a way to find out in advance if ebay is doing any free or cheap listing days anytime soon? Anytime they have one, you usually only get an email about it the night before, obviously they don't want you saving all your pricey stuff for the cheap day There's usually some kind of reduced fee promo once a month or thereabouts...does anyone keep track of roughly when they happen?

Got a few Atari item up on ebay at the moments, such as a pair of Atari 2600 remote controllers, a set of working paddles with 4 games including Kaboom and Jedi Arena, an Atari Jr system with 15 games and a bonus Jakks 10-in-1 portable Atari, the Supercharger games Escape from the Mindmaster and Phaser Patrol (both with manuals), plus a new and sealed Atari Anthology for the Xbox, as well as other Xbox, PS2, and Gamecube games. I guess. Well, we're up to 3K hits, and 20 watchers. I'll be VERY interested to see what happens in the last few minutes tomorrow
-
8 watchers so far. No questions though. Yeah I guess its possible someone has posted it on a NES forum, but I can't imagine why. I just can't see what's so exciting about these games! I doubt if I made an auction saying "65 unreleased NES prototypes!" that it would get 15...(er, now its 1600) hits in 4 days. I suppose its what everyone wants, huge numbers of people checking out their auction, but I just want to try and figure out why!
-
Actually I just looked up some completed auctions for lots of NES boxed games, and again, those weren't getting more than 300ish hits, even the high end ones. Now mine is at 1500 hits?! There's got to be something special and or weird that is getting people looking at it, and I just can't figure out what it is! I thought I might have some absurdly rare game in there somewhere but that doesn't seem to be the case as far as I can tell. Its starting to freak me out a little

Sessler makes a mess-ler out of Thompson
dinovelvet replied to Jess Ragan's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Jack Thompson just got thousands more gamers interested in playing Bully. Controversy/protests/boycotts = sales. Happens every time, e.g. Eminem, Passion of the Christ, GTA San Andreas, etc. By drawing attention to these things and condemning them, these nutjobs are just making the product more attractive and interesting to the public. -
Ah I see. People are probably disappointed when they see that puny amount of boxes though. Or maybe Yo Noid is in high demand
-
OK so I put up this auction for a lot of NES games : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=120018958079 I looked at it today and saw its had over 1000 hits! At first I thought maybe there are far more NES collectors on ebay than I thought, but then I looked at similar lots and counter-wise they had gotten 200-300 hits, yet mine has hit 1000 and its only halfway through! Does anyone have any ideas why my rather generic lot of games has attracted such a huge amount of attention? Is there something amazingly rare in there that I didn't notice, or have I made a hilarious typo of some kind?
-
LOL, I like the question at the bottom where somebody posts a 'suggestion' and he responds 'thanks for the suggestion'.
-
Yes looks like ebay do listen to shill bidder complaints, thankfully. This guy was just laughably obvious, he could have at least created new IDs to bid on it each time
-
http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MfcI...t=3&completed=1 Look at this jerk, he is using the candycandy ID to repeatedly bid up his Xbox system, only he's way too greedy and keeps outbidding all the legit bidders. Though looks like this strategy bit him in the ass when he got a $1000 bid from a Philippines scammer. How many more times is ebay going to let this guy keep relisting? I reported him for shilling a couple of days ago but nothing has happened.

360: Lost Planet - Extreme Condition
dinovelvet replied to CPUWIZ's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Yeah I knew nothing about this game, but I jumped all over the free demo and it was awesome! I'll be getting this game on day one. -
Filed a non-paying bidder warning when I didn't get payment for a game after ten days. This is the response I got. I swear I have not altered it in any way, you just can't make this stuff up : "pls give me chance because i need to deposit money to the bank bicause they bearly buy me the compi8ter that i was sellyng tnk bye give time pls" Honestly, how do some of these people even manage to register with ebay and place bids? And what the hell do I say in response to this?

Try to explain the high price on this auction?
dinovelvet replied to homerwannabee's topic in Auction Central
It looks like its been EATEN!! -
http://cgi.ebay.com/5-xbox-games-3-PSP-gam...1QQcmdZViewItem Um...well...wow...
-
You know I was thinking of buying and checking it out because it's one of my favorite movies but all the reviews that I have read have said that it borrows way to much from GTA. But if the Wiz recommends it maybe I should stop reading the reviews The game MAFIA pretty much already did the GTA-meets-Godfather thing and was pretty decent, you can probably pick it up for $5-$10 if you look around...

Sony cutting back on UMD movie releases
dinovelvet replied to Shannon's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Not to mention some of the actual movies that they put out...I mean, Batman Begins and Sin city are the type of movies that will appeal to the teen gamer types, but I've seen stuff like Rent and Memoirs of a Geisha out on UMD...WTF are they thinking with movies like that? Yeah I can just see all those gamers taking time out from Syphon Filter and GTA Liberty City to watch their favorite scenes from Memoir of a Geisha -
Has anyone Bought the new Ecko title from Infotari
dinovelvet replied to grimbasement's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Lol, yeah, exactly. Dontcha hate it when a soulless corporate product is marketed as something 'edgy' and 'underground'...? Who the $(*! wants to play a graffiti game anyway? Oooh, but P.Diddy voices a character in it. Gotta get that, yo! -
That sucks. That game is supose to be great. I just started my gamecube collection and all the realy good games seem to be harder and harder to find. This BLOWS!! 1009311[/snapback] Its only for sealed copies though, used ones are not hard to find, you can probably get one for $20, or less if you play the ebay game. It is a great title, definitely worth picking up!
