Next week. Nov 1 is the "ship date" so look for it on the 2nd or 3rd. -
http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ5...sassZdinovelvet I'll be auctioning off a lot of Colecovision titles over the next few weeks, some common, some rare, some complete. Right now I've got CIB Star Wars arcade game, Tomarc the Barbarian, Fathom, CIB Facemaker and some others up on ebay, with more on the way!
-
Wow, well its unique. I have no idea what to make of it, really. Definitely one of those things you have to try for yourself to 'get' it.
-
Yeah Crimson Skies is still popular, there are always a few games going on.
-
He sure wasted a bunch of money on putting those slideshow pictures there.
-
Ha ha, he ended it. PWN#D!!!1 indeed.
-
"Be sure to add me to your favorites list!" Uh, yeah I'll get right on that with all these fantastic bargains you're offering!
-
Over 10000 looks at this auction, man this one is getting forwarded everywhere. The humiliation is complete!
-
This game mode is actually the entire premise of Star wars Battlefront, you should check that game out.
-
Well the strange saga has ended, apparently the game was delivered to a neighbor's house instead, and the neighbor handed it over today (took his time about it though, he had it for a week). So he has offered to withdraw the negative, everything's fine and dandy. Except this proves that delivery confirmation is vulnerable to human error...bring on the robot postmen! (Unless of course, he really was lying the whole time and started to feel remorse about it. Who knows).
-
Well I got my negative feedback today, so I immediately replied to it showing the delivery confirmation number so anyone can check up on it and see that it says "delivered". And I check my email and find that there's a Paypal complaint against me. Good times. Did I mention all this is over a $10 game? Why is it always the crappy little auctions that cause the most trouble? I'm thinking I might be able to get this negative feedback removed if I show ebay the delivery confirmation. Might as well give it a shot.
-
Yeah I've considered the possibility that it was put in his mailbox, or on his doorstep etc and someone else swiped it. That sucks for him, but I have to look at that as his problem; I did my part by mailing it out and getting delivery confirmation, what happens after that is nothing to do with me.
-
So I sent an item to a buyer, and the delivery confirmation says it was delivered a few days ago, but the buyer claims he hasn't received it. He has perfect feedback (40+) so I doubt he is a scammer, but at the same time I can't be 100% sure that he's truthful either. Basically he's demanding a refund and will give me a negative feedback if I refuse. I won't give him the refund though (and if he tries to complain to ebay & Paypal, they will side with me anyway because I have delivery confirmation proof). I mean if I start doling out refunds to everyone who says they haven't gotten their game even though DC states that they did get it, where's it going to end? It'll be open season on all sellers! So basically this is a no-win situation for both me and him. I'll get a neg, and he won't get his money back. Has this happened to anyone before, where DC was "wrong"...?

Does this look vintage? (Buggin T-shirt)
dinovelvet replied to video game addict's topic in Auction Central

R* 'Hot Coffee'/Federal Rockstar Probe

Speaking of graphic pornographic content, not so long ago it was the Clinton family that brought the term "oral sex" into the media and you had little kids hearing about it on the evening news. Where was the press conference to discuss legislative solutions to keep inappropriate content like that away from young people? Now, where did I put my cigars... -
And the DVD features FOUR different stories.

Circuit City Summer Clearance 7/3/2005
dinovelvet replied to holygrailvideogames.com's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Those two games ARE 9.99 though. Never mind what they are stickered as, CC almost never changes their price tags. But I can confirm that both of those titles will ring up as 9.99 when you take them to the counter, as I bought them myself this morning. Hell, I also got an I-Ninja that was stickered as 49.99, and rang up as 1.99 -
OMG I'd be just embarrassed to pose like that. Anytime I've had a t-shirt on ebay, I've just put it on a hanger and taken a photo. Also there's something just plain weird and creepy about seeing some other guy wearing it. I mean when you buy 'vintage' stuff you assume that someone else has worn it, but to actually see the guy wearing it...I dunno. Good for amusement value anyway

It got stuck with the "kiddy" label from day one and hasn't been able to shake it off. It also didn't quite manage to come up with a Halo or Grand Theft Auto must-have title to get the Cool Kids interested. No online play was probably the final nail in the coffin. Still, the Cube has plenty of fun and unique titles to interest those who are looking for substance over style, but many casual gamers are easily swayed by hype; its an uphill battle to convince Halo 2 players to check out Pikmin.

True Crime : Streets of LA did it.

One of 'em is a 5 rarity! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=8202517469

help decide which cheap xbox games to get
dinovelvet replied to ATARIeric's topic in Modern Console Discussion
If you're looking for multiplayer action, checkout Goldeneye Rogue Agent. The single player campaign isn't up to much, but its fun on Xbox Live, especially in Licence to Kill (one shot kills) games, the winner usually gets 50-60 kills, its insane! You'll die every three seconds but its a good laugh. I've honestly had more fun with this game than the online aspect of Halo 2. -
I always try and look on the bright side and find good qualities in every game...however the one Xbox game I bought and then had to trade after a couple of days was Spider-Man 2. After several hours I just found myself repeating the same missions over and over again, and it had the most frustrating thing ever in a modern console game, the part where you have to stop Mysterio on Liberty Island. I was sorely tempted to hurl my Xbox controller across the room several times. So anyway I traded it for Onimusha 3, now that game kicked ass. I haven't played any of the legendarily bad games like Pulse Racer, I did play a Drake demo which barely worked because of bugs, I assume the finished game is no better. I dunno, at least Drake has some kind of gimmick and style to it, and it seems more interesting to me than a game like, say, Van Helsing, which is nothing but a cheap movie tie-in ripoff of other superior games.

What's up with Still Life on the Xbox?
dinovelvet replied to Clint Thompson's topic in Modern Console Discussion
They sell quite well on PCs, don't they? There seem to be a lot of them out there...I guess its hard to get the Halo/GTA kids interested in this kind of thing on the Xbox though. I got Syberia for the Xbox a while ago and enjoyed it, it makes for a good change of pace in between all the shooting & blowing stuff up kind of games. I do plan to get Syberia II and Still Life eventually...
