  1. I was going through the various 3rd party companies to see which ones I hadn't completed. I noticed Froggo link wasn't working, so I fixed that. I also added all the manuals for that company. Then I also noticed that some of the smaller 3rd party I had not put manuals such as First Star, Epyx, etc. I will try and do those too this morning. It's filling out well. Then I'll get back to Sears.
  2. Got the Fast Food scan and already put it up on the site. Thanks for helping with that Daniel. I don't know what time I'll have over the next week to work on much with the Thanksgiving holidays, but hopefully I can do a little more. Phil
  3. Daniel comes through again. He sent me a Cosmic Creeps Assembled in Mexico box variation. Coconuts already had this variation and looking at the list, Fast Food should also definitely have this variation as the cartridge label has the same printed like Cosmic Creeps and Coconuts. The other 3 games have labels with no printed, so I'm not sure if there would be a Mexico variation or not, but please be on the lookout. Thanks. Phil
  4. Thanks to Daniel, I discovered that there were new box variations of Spacechase and Skeet Shoot. He provided me with the Spacechase which turned out that the original had no product # on the box, and then Apollo decided to stamp the product #. Investigating the other titles, it turned out Skeet Shoot also has this variation. I found a scan of the front. I'm assuming the back is the same and has no stamp product # like the Spacechase. I'm updating it now. Thanks. Phil I did notice that the stamp is not in the same location on the box. But I will not be noting that in the listing.
  5. Site has been going well with updates. Tigervision is finished for now (not doing manuals for any companies at this time). I've just uploaded the beginning of Sears, which I worked on months ago. I'm going to continue with Sears, but there will be lots of holes with boxes. I'm hoping collectors on here can help me with filling in what I'm missing. Also, if you have any printer info on any of the boxes I already have photos of, please let me know. Printer info is always good to know the order of when the items were released. I'm hoping to finish Sears carts and boxes by Christmas. I'll post any reason for delays though if possible. Thanks. Phil
  6. Ok, I've been updating some Activision info and photos thanks to Daniel. I'm sure he'll be sending me more stuff. Paul gave me more scans and especially end labels of things I'm missing. I'm working on getting everything updated. If anyone has access to foreign versions of carts like CBS or Parker Bros, I have many main labels, but few end labels. I'd appreciate getting the end labels. I know most of the end labels probably are the same as others, but I don't want to assume and will wait until I verify them. I just uploaded the Tigervision cartridge scans. What I noted on the main page for Tigervision and will also say here is that I see several titles that have alternate color cartridges. I don't believe these are genuine to the title, though I may be wrong. It looks like there are secondary labels underneath the main labels. It should be very easy to create such variations. Unless I personally find them in the wild or get the info from a legitimate source, I'm keeping said variations off the list. If these were out there, I think I would see them offered for sale at least once in a while on Ebay. Anyway, I'm hoping to finish the Tigervision boxes within a couple of days, but want to get all the scans I've been sent updated on the site first. Thanks again for the help and I hope to keep getting more. Thanks to Daniel sending me the HERO activision scan, I now have added 2 additional boxes and updated my information describing them.
  7. Thanks for the help. I plan to try and update any new contributions this weekend, though tomorrow is my wife's birthday, I may not be around to do much. I'm going away for business next weekend, so I'll try and do things as much as I can. Phil
  8. Actually I think I may have posted something here but just for Atari made items that I believe may exist. I actually had planned doing that list when everything was all done. May take a few months. Will probably leave the manuals off the list at least for a while. Thanks for the suggestion though I already had it planned. Phil
  9. Just did Ultravision, which doesn't have much. I'm working on Tigervision right now. What a lot of work this one is. What I had documented is nothing compared to what I'm finding. Especially with box variations. There are 2 things I'm specifically noting here in case you have questions. First is there are boxes with "Printed in Hongkong" where Hong Kong is not separated. I am keeping the word together if it is printed like that. It will not be a mistake on my part. I try and document the exact writing. The second one is there are a few games that supposedly have labels on different colored plastics. Jawbreaker, King Kong, and one other I can't remember offhand. I looked at the scans in Atarimania and they look like a second label was placed over the first. Plus on one of the games, the label has rounded corners on top and square on the bottom. I believe someone manufactured these themselves, so I will not consider them variations. Unless I ever see them first hand, I'll stick with my guns. Plus I look on Ebay and see no other copies out there. It's tough nowadays where labels can easily be printed at home to believe there are some unique or ultra rare variations out there. I'll try and put up the Tigervision pages, but am going away for a few days. Phil
  10. My guess is that there are many of us out there who would pay that and more. It's one thing to get a rare item that few people have. It's better to get an item probably no one has. My guess is that there are no more than 10 in existence and that may be a generous number. It may not be a game, but I find paper items and books to be very collectible anywhere I go. I work with a guy who has many unique items related to comics, some signed by Stan Lee back while he was alive. You never know the price of items until you throw it up in an auction and watch the collectors fight over it. Great find and I congratulate you for it.
  11. I don't see the Ebay listing that had this. What did you pay?
  12. Forgot to mention that there is much research. Most of the new items I add is because I decide to look. I don't get too much help from people. Maybe a cart or box here and there. So it takes time, not only making the site, but I probably spend more time verifying and looking for new variations. Just when I thought I was finished with one company, I find there is a variation I don't have. I wish more people would contact me as they do Atarimania with their new items.
  13. I have a substantial amount of paper. What I can't get online I'd have to scan. And scanning lots of manuals takes time. I plan on doing catalogs and warranties too along with inserts and such. But this project will get there eventually. What I'm aiming at will be to get the easiest items done first. Minimal effort. But you can view my document any time. It's pretty up to date as of a couple of weeks ago. I list everything I know about. Catalogs and warranties are in my possession, or at least most of them should be, so eventually all that will get scanned and uploaded. Just need patience. Phil
  14. I haven't heard back from Cincy yet. Anyone who can provide me scans I appreciate. I can't use general photo shots unless I can crop them nicely. I finished the US Games this past weekend. I also just did Telesys. Again, no manuals as I'm trying to finish all the rest of the 3rd party carts/boxes. I found that Coconuts has a box variation on back saying Assembled in Mexico. There are 2 other carts that say this, but I don't see a box for this. So if there are carts from Mexico, there should be boxes. I'll try and look on Ebay and see what is available, but many of these boxes are tough to just get in general. I'll keep posting what I update so everyone can follow. If you see something wrong or have something I don't list, let me know and hopefully can provide pics. Thanks. Phil
  15. Sealed is tough, but complete in box is not on many games. Combat I probably have 15-20 boxed copies, several different variations. Pac-man, at least 10, same with Asteroids and Missile Command. Space Invaders I'm probably down to 5-8 complete. I haven't looked at my inventory lately. I always keep one for sale on Ebay though and when I sell it, I go and get another to put on. Video Olympics is rather common along with Video Pinball. Warlords tan box I have a few along with Street Racer. Star Raiders is really common. I believe I have at least 7 boxed with controller. A tough one to get many times is Ms. Pac-Man 1982 version. I see many of the later ones being sold, especially sealed, but that 1982 is difficult and not easy to get a nice box too. Loose on the other hand, you can get pretty much anything common to rare for under $10. I usually do not sell loose games. Don't have an Ebay store and only use their free listings when they give them to me. Phil
  16. According to what I understand, O Shea has nothing. Got rid of everything for the scrap of gold. Finding new in box in general is not easy short of the large supply of games from Venezuela.
  17. According to what I understand, O Shea has nothing. Got rid of everything for the scrap of gold.
  18. Does He-Man count as a super hero?
  19. I finished the PB carts & boxes and am waiting on a few scans on missing boxes. Sides will take a while to get, unless someone wants to help. Since my stuff is packed away still, I can't scan any sides until I get my house and start opening up all my packed stuff. I began the US Games carts and boxes. That shouldn't take too long and hopefully will have them done by tomorrow. Manuals on everything will still have to wait, again probably until I get my house unless they are easy and only have 1 or 2 manuals per game. My goal is to try and get all the carts and boxes finished for everything. I'm trying. Phil
  20. There are 2 loose carts currently on Ebay for $40 each. The game itself I think is rather rare.
  21. I am super confused atm. I'm working on Parker Brothers boxes. Any box I do not have the sides scans I put a blank place holder. For Action Force, it worked fine. For Data Age, it works fine. When I put it for Amidar and Frogger II, I get a broken image. Funny thing is that it's the same exact image I'm using for all of them. I don't understand why some should be broken and others not. They look normal in my Front Page pages. I may try and copy the scan and use the copy for the ones that are broken to see if that works. Any advice if this doesn't work? If not, I may just leave the broken images until I can get actual scans of the sides of the boxes. Phil Ok, it seemed to work, at least for Amidar. I'll try and fix the other one. I'm confused but at least it looks normal. Everything seems to be working fine now. I also updated the PDF file, so it's the most accurate document as of this very moment. 150 pages. That will change though since I'm actively working on the site and adding and making changes, but at least everything corresponds correctly with what is shown. At least I hope so.
  22. Ok, everyone. I've been working on some updates with the site. Mainly, when my hard drive crashed a few years ago, my MS Word document wasn't matching my site. Actually the document was actually missing things that are on the site. So Activision has been fixed. I'll probably be adding a few variations with Activision, mainly the foreign ones, but will have to research what I'm missing. Thanks to Schitti, I got the Freeway multi-language box up. I discovered another box variant for Space Jockey by US Games. Though I haven't done US Games yet, I'll be working on it over the next week hopefully. In the meantime, Parker Brothers carts will be finished soon and hopefully by the end of the weekend, I'll add all the boxes. Manuals may have to wait as I want to get working on the other 3rd party companies I have not gotten to. Sears I'll probably get back to after US Games. US Games is going to be real fun, especially Space Jockey as I have 12 cartridge variations with this game. I may need to research the Vid Tec boxes a little more, but will put on the site whatever I have documented. Space Jockey for some reason has the most at 4 different boxes now. I purchased 17 boxed games and updated more printer companies/dates with Atari and Activision besides finding this new Space Jockey box variant. I also discovered another US Games warranty variant. Though warranties will be added far in the future. Spectravision is probably going to be the hardest to work on with the boxes due to the reflectivity of the foil. I'll see what's available because many of the scans I have are unreadable. So this may be one of the last 3rd party companies that I will complete. Anyway, if you have any information I haven't documented, I would appreciate it. I discovered with Othello I had versions 1 and 2 reversed. But due to me getting a copy and discovering that the thinner font box had an earlier printer date, I could determine the thinner font box was the first release. I originally had it as the second variant. So I switched them last night. Speaking of switching. If I determine that any boxes are out of order, I will change their listing number. I'm trying to document the correct order of all boxes. I know how the design of the Atari boxes already were released, but sometimes the same design has minor variations (like Sky Diver for instance) and thus I put the same design in the correct order based on dates when the boxes were printed. So, again if you find any mistakes, new variants, or scans I'm missing, feel free to help out so we can have as accurate a list as possible. Thanks. Phil
  23. While going through the list of boxes in my variation list, I have listed 4 boxes for Sears Black Jack. I believe my box 2 and 4 are the same box. First box is the gatefold. That is easy. Second box is the one with a 6 in front of the product #. It says no warranty or game options on back. Can anyone verify this? Third box has the 49 in front of product #? Has Blackjack as one word. The fourth box reads like this and the scan I have describes the 4th box. It has the 6 on the side like description #2. 2) Box no ©, black standard style opening box with green letters, no warranty or game options on back, #6-99805 on side. 4)* Box no ©, black standard style opening box with green letters, Black Jack (two words), illustration same as picture label, warranty info on back, game options in middle, no printed I'm going to post the 3 box scans I have.
  24. Haven't heard from anyone. Wanted to give an update. Some of the small 3rd party manual links were not working and hopefully I fixed them all. I'll double check this weekend. When AA was transfered, some of the updates I had made during the past few months did not stay, so I needed to re-upload links, images, and pages. I'm working to complete Data Age, but would like to have scans of the side of boxes. I'll need one of the Sssnake variants, not sure which until I see which one I have for selling this weekend. All my stuff is packed away, so I can't scan my personal collection or else this would have been done a while ago. So I'll try and get Data Age finished soon. I'm also looking to complete more of the smaller 3rd party companies in completion with manuals, and those that have been up on the website without the manuals, I'm looking to put the manuals on too. I've already worked on some, so you may see some new things now finished. Hope I'll get some responses with items I need. Thanks. Phil PS: I'll be working on Sears, but have a lot of questions with the boxes. If anyone has side scans of the boxes, I would appreciate them. Also, anything I'm missing, which is probably many would also be appreciated. I've put off Sears for the most obvious reason, they are tough to acquire scans. I know a few of you out there have some nice Sears complete in box collections. wink wink
  25. I wanted to ask for everyone's help. I may have posted this already, but added some other items on this list. First, if you have scans of any Atari boxes or cartridges I do not have, please send them to me. You'll see the holes with the blank photos. Also, if you have any new items to add, also send me scans and give me as much detail as possible. Look at my listings to see exactly what I describe. If you have any boxes from Atari or possibly a couple of the larger 3rd party that list printer and dates on the tiny flaps, I can use that info too. Activision and Coleco come to mind. The list below are boxes I believe should exist based on evidence. It's possible cartridges with a specific year, for example 1985, were released in 1986 boxes. There is no guarantee that they do though, so I'm just speculating. I discovered more "ninety day warranty" box versions and a few 5 language early issues. They've been added to the listings. Any help is appreciated. I'm continuing to work on the list. I've added small details such as some of the printer names and dates. Thanks.
