The NES cheat codes work too. I only tried the 3 cheats for Super Contra and they work. Except it looks like the "A" and "B" keys are reversed. So to get 30 lives it's "right, left, down, up, B, A." Gamespot - Super Contra cheat codes

Is it true that in later rounds Zaxxon has a missile on both sides? So far it's only been 1 missile.

I found a duplicate game. Game 51 Soccer and Game 98 Warpman are both the same soccer game.

4.On the Super Action controllers, what is the spinning knob below the keypad used for? Does it calibrate it or change settings with the game? I can't seem to play a good game of Defender, the ship sometimes doesn't move, and after fidgeting with the dial the ship will move for a little bit then stop. Colecovision Defender cartridges don't work right in a stand alone Adam. Coleco did release an Adam compatible Defender cartridge but I think those are really uncommon.

A very fun game. It's challenging but I did make it to the boss ship.

Try pressing "8" on the keypad or keyboard. I was using AdamEm. I'd press F9 to switch to keyboard controls then press 8 to be able to move. press T for sword thrust G to get object E examine S search O ylixer The "alt" is used on AdamEm for shooting arrows.

That's Temple of Apshai alright. What makes you think it's buggy or incomplete? Tempest The bugs were usually at the begining of a game. A couple of times there were no walls and couple of times I was able to walk off the screen. Otherwise it played ok. There was only one type of treasure item so I thought it might be incomplete. No high score screen either.

There is a .dsk image of Temple of Apshai on doperoms.com. It looks like it's incomplete and buggy. I played it a little and came across 11 types of monsters.

I don't move very much. Ducking usually works best. Duck Clubbers punch then pop up and hit him, then duck again when he punches back.

Here's my best scores for skill level 2. KO 1 72-14 (+58) fastest knock out 58 seconds into round 1 KO 5 387-132 (+255) biggest point advantage +255 winning by knock out 52 seconds into round 5 I would recommend using good defense and counter punching. Block or duck often. Develop good timing so when Clubber throws a punch he usually misses then you throw a punch and usually land it. I really like this game. The graphics, music, and gameplay are all great. It does have a bit of a learning curve though. It took me a while to develop a good winning strategy.

I haven't made any more progress. It looks like it's impossible without knowing the names of the objects in those two rooms. I think one of them is a treasure and one is a weapon/magic item. I've found 11 treasure items out of 12 spaces on the screen for booty. I've found 5 weapons out of 6 spaces on the screen for arms. In room 13, it looks like there is something on the left side of the screen. I've tried different words but none works. In room 7, there should be something to "get" in that room also. The clue could be in the description of the room. I tried different words in that room also but none works.
