  11. A got a pair of wireless joysticks(gamemate) and the batteries are good. one of the controllers only work when it touching or right next to the box. could it be the wi-fi, could it be the wireless adapter for the eh-hem x-box 360?? does anyone know if and which one of the pots in there are for a signal sensitivity?
  12. Yes, there are several ways to identify the original CX-10 sticks:The orange-painted ring around the bottom of the stick does not contain the word "TOP". The metal "hex disc" saying "ATARI" or "SEARS" (if present - the Atari ones are rare and Sears ones are extremely rare). If the hex disc is missing, there is an intentation with a raised rim on top of the rubber boot where it is supposed to be. There is no plastic ring around the base of the rubber boot; the boot itself has tabs which fit into slots in the case top. The fire button sticks up higher, and when pressed has very long travel. The stick is spring-loaded and does not give any "feel" for when contact has been made in a given direction -- the stick can be pushed quite a bit farther after contact. The directional springs are often noisy, making metallic "ping" sounds as the stick is moved. The screw heads on the bottom of the stick are very near the surface, not deeply recessed. There were at least three different styles of AC adapter which came with heavy sixers, different from the common later style, and only one of them was gray. thanks for the info -- very thorough just like my pics, thanks
  13. Is 50 bucks too much for an out of box with no instructions?
  14. Ok, saying and doing are two different things, I bought the stuff and what was listed was not all there. Thanks for being supportive. You ever get ripped off? nextime I wont say anything. You simply were not clear what the problem was, and I was simply asking. I saw the seller's feedback and yours, and an ad with a bunch of obviously empty boxes (as the carts were shown separately) and made a conjecture. Didn't mean to offend, sorry if I did. This is not the board to post to if you have a thin skin! I guess you are correct, my apologies
  15. Are there any other ways to ID an original sunnyvale joystick? I was told the original power source is gray (with atari logo in black). I have one of those along with my heavy 6-er. Never occured to me that the joysticks might differ! Just trying to put together a "complete" sunnyvale unit... thanks all -JustJeff you can look for the metal logos on top of the joystick. I have one complete Sunnyvale unit already.

  18. I got a pair of remote controll joysticks and one of them only works when the rubber duckie is touching or almost touching the box. Does any one have a schizmo for these guys? which pots are for the sensitivity if there are any?
  19. I really was just venting because I hate being ripped off. I buy stuff, I sell stuff but the stuff thats unrepairable I cant resell I dont. Im cool and dont rip off anyone. I like to trade, I like to fix old Atari's and resell them for a hobby. I like to collect the stuff too. I have been for a long time. I have alot
  20. Hey there you said we should talk?
  21. I was just excited to do it as a hobby. I dont know about Paris I wouldnt go the French suck.
  22. Wait... are you actually turning around and selling what you got from this seller, and are complaining about? They offered to take it back, but you wouldn't return it? they said on the paper they offered to return it, after I got no communication for weeks and filed with squaretrade. Do you believe everything you read? you should see the consoles box that I was going to keep. I asked them why dont you show the front of the box is there something wrong with it? they said no there isnt and to show what the games are actually like. I got the box home and it was mangled beyond belief. The point is that they suck because they are liars They still would not return it
