  1. Woohoo!! I have all the rarity 1s (maybe I should put up a picture ;) )

As for Rarity 2s, almost everything I don't have is a label variation, or a Sears version I'm missing...

After that it's pretty hit or miss. I'm missing a lot of Sears variations...

  2. We need to meet at some point Chris...I am amassing a pretty good collection of golf games as well.

One of my favorites was Leaderboard Golf on my beloved C64. My best score ever was a 47, and I sent Ron Corcoran a score of 49, back a couple years ago when me and Ron were having a bit of a battle on that game :)

Another good Genny game was Tournament Golf (with Arnold Palmer's picture on the label) Chi Chi Rodriguez also had a game, but it isn't that good.

On the SNES I also like Mecarobot Golf (too slow though...), The iRem Skins Game, and Hole-In-One Golf are all good as well...

I really want to get Mean 18 and Ninja Golf on the 7800...

TO be a real stickler here...PGA Tour 3 was set up just like the others on the Genny, it was PGA Tour 96 when they tried, and failed to bring over the 3D swing style... :)

36 Holes w/ Fred Couples is pretty good on the 32X...

And don't forget about Computer Golf! on the Odyssey2!!!!! It's actually pretty good...

  3. There's something...not quite right about Baseball Stars II. I notice that I can't hit the ball off the end of the bat...but there's more, something I can't put my finger on. But it just isn't as much fun as #1. Also, my copy was missing some screws, so if I want to play it, I can't keep it in its casing, I have to just put the bare board into my top loader...

  4. Tempest probably hit it on the head...plus it's a heck of a fun game. Kind of like Kaboom, except you shoot the bombs :)

Oh yeah, congrats on that auction and I hate you ;) ...I was watching it, but it went too high for my blood...especially since there were only two games in that set I needed for my collection...

    Hope you enjoy the game.

  5. Yikes, tough one...

I'm going to vote for the Dual Shock, although the DC controller is the more comfortable of the two for me...

The thing that pushes the Dual Shock in front is going to be the large and easy to reach D-pad...I can't help it, I cannot get used to the analog controllers on any of the newer controllers, so I use the D-pad when I have the opportunity.

  6. I love the TG-16, although I don't play it as often as I should (of course with 30+ systems, and the only one I'm firing up right now is my PS2...I guess you can say that about a lot of 'em)

My list looks something like this:

    AD&D Order Of The Griffon

    Alien Crush

    Bloody Wolf

    Bonk's Adventure

    Davis Cup Tennis

    Double Dungeons

    Falcon

    Final Lap Twin

    Impossamole

    Jack Nicklaus' Turbo Golf

    Keith Courage In Alpha Zones

    King Of Casino

    Pac-Land

    Power Golf

    Psychosis

    Soldier Blade

    TV Sports Basketball

    TV Sports Football

    TV Sports Hockey

    Victory Run

    World Class Baseball

  7. My first thought was Defender. Even though it flickered badly, I felt that the controls of Defender on the 2600 were so much better than the arcade (it wasn't until last year that I was able to play more than 1 level on arcade Defender...)

  8. I'm actually going to vote for the Master System pad.

I like the XBox controller fine, as long as I'm using the analog sticks.

But I'm a Tony Hawk Pro Skater player, and I've used the D-pad to play since day 1 (just more natural).

The XBox D-pad is one of the most unresponsive ones I've ever seen, can't pull of much of anything with it.

So for that one reason only, I'll pick the SMS pad...
