Interesting Atari 2600 Article/Photo in GamePro Magazine

I will confirm it, I have a subscription, and that picture is most definitely in the issue...I don't have a scanner...but if you don't trust me by now... -
sassmouth???

Atari 2600, not even close...I do not enjoy the N64 controller, even though my hands are large enough to use it efficiently.
-
Even though I don't like the system...I do like the SNES controller better than the Atari 7800 stick...
-
Area 51 was also on the Saturn...don't worry folks, I won't mention the Point Blank series again in this post

I think the arcade game was called Lucky & Wild or something like that... don't forget the Point Blank series on Playstation...those are a riot!!

Even though I would look stupid (something I'm never afraid of doing...) my cel phone contract is up, and I actually need a new one as well...
-
I'll vote for the Genesis 6-button...I rule the world with Blanka on this controller!!!
-
I'm actually thinking about picking up a couple of games now...just to have them for later when I buy the system. I will get one, my happy place price point on it is about $150...that much because it has a Monkey Ball game with new levels (it appears) and I don't have a portable MP3 player...

Freedom Force and Operation Wolf are both very good IMO on the NES... for modern systems...the Point Blank series on PSX...great games
-
DC controller for me as well...the main reason is how easy it was to play Crazy Taxi with it
-
Battlezone

I need to play this on a real system, I have to use a joystick. I can only score about 35 points on emulator. Tough game

Anyone here a fan of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series?

I have a "trademark" series of tricks that I use to get me enough points to pass most levels in the first minute or so of runs. I am by no means a master, and I don't have big combo scores...but for racking up big points... Bucky Lasek is my man for this...although I usually have to reprogram the key steeings...they changed Bucky's move list after #1 and I never adjusted find a nice half pipe...preferably near a long rail or with a lengthy lip 720 Benihana w/ revert 540 Christ Air w/ revert then a series of rail grinds with kickflips in between grinds...usually ending with a nice Big Hitter to revert and manual...that series can usually get me 100,000 to 150,000 in a little under a minute... -
Yes on both accounts cvga and chris... I went to that booth all the time, the systems were never for sale because he used them to keep his kids quiet when they were at the booth He'd usually have a few older things that interested me at reasonable prices (I was working on cleaning out his 3DO stuff before I had to stop for a month). Last week I went to that booth first, and his kids were emptying it out... Not a huge loss since there is that booth right at the front that isn't too bad...but they don't have 2600 or O2 carts But they do have a couple Sega CD games I need, so BACK OFF!!!

The PSX controller is by far the better of these two...the 5200 controller makes starving children cry.

I met one of the Columbus "sumguys" a few weeks ago...turns out, it's the guy I usually buy stuff from at the Expo...too bad he closed his shop down now. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I was gone for a whole month, so I never got a chance to buy any of his stuff???

I stubbornly stand by Journey Escape
-
Road Runner?
-
Journey Escape Air Raiders River Raid Mountain King (I don't quite get this game...) And I apparently now have a battery of people looking for Crazy Climber for me, it's my #1 most wanted 2600 game now... (I missed out on one in an auction lot that went for $60, and I have another person willing to get one to me for $100...not able to / not really wanting to pay that much for it) Jeez, tell your mother about one little game...and pretty soon you have armies of people in 6 different states looking for it...

Dragster...best 3 out of 5 series. We used to do this all day long way back when. I think a Kaboom tournament would be fun, especially since that is a game that seems to be popular for many ages.
