  1. This has been one of the most disheartening threads I've ever read.
  2. Wow , I'm only one off from a complete collection as well...I need Blueprint as well!! The most I paid for any of them was $5 for Mountain King a couple weeks ago. I got my Tunnel Runner free and thanks again to whoever ran that contest...I forget who it is now though...
  3. I may be about the only one, but I really enjoyed the Action Max. Yes it was cheesy, yes the tapes were dumb (you could still play even during the promos after the game was supposed to be over). If someone would convert it to work with DVD players, I'd buy one again in a heartbeat
  4. I'd personally like to see a bunch of more obscure game shows collected on disc... Of course, noone but the few of us hopeless game show addicts would buy Bullseye, Play the Percentages, Joker's Wild, Whew!, High Rollers etc. but I'd love to play these games again I buy every game show adaptation that comes out...it's one of my favorite genres By the way, puddwakkr, how much fun would Jeopardy be on the XBox with those shocking controllers
  5. I'll say 2-port because that is the one that I got to work.
  6. Journey Escape...I'll have to bring back that avatar once the baseball season is over (or when the Cubs are mathematically eliminated, whichever comes first)
  7. I think voice should be added..."LA LA LALAAA CONNECT THE DOTS"
  8. *darts into thread* "5200 was a waste of solder and plastic" *darts out*
  9. I hear it is a good game as well, I just haven't heard what type of game it is. Puzzler, fighter, hop-n-bop??? SOmething completely new?? I'm just interested in that mainly.
  10. I don't like newer FPS games...too confusing for my liking. 1. Wolfenstein 3D 2. Duke 3D 3. Ecks vs. Sever (GBA...anyone tried out Ballistic E vs. S yet???) 4. Quake 5. Doom
  11. They are only supposed to be $9.99...grrrrr
  12. I was going to pick this up at Best Buy today, but it rang up at $40!!!!
  13. I better stock up on my mini-disc blanks now...I can see they will be obsolete the day this thing hits the streets... One cool thing about these discs...if they are built anything like mini-discs, they will be able to take a LOT of abuse...I'm very interested to see how it will work out.
  14. And a big whoopty shit goes through the crowd. I love my Cube, just spent 2 solid hours with Super Monkey Ball 2...there are probably 10-15 other games I'd like to get for it, but monetary reasons keep me from getting them right now. I think it is the most underrated of the newer consoles, some great games, admttedly some a bit on the easy side, but I really enjoy being able to finish a game once in a while.
  15. Ahh, now Kirby's Dream Course owned my life for about a year, I'm still trying to get gold medals on a few courses...I want to know if anything special happens then...
  16. Yeah, I won an auction a couple of years ago, it was a used 5200 and about 8 sealed games (all commons). The shrinkwrap stuck to me too much though, as I ripped it off and threw it away, and then crushed the boxes... Felt nice to open those games though...
  17. I paid the full $329 + $150 for games, $35 each for memory card and 2nd controller on PS2s opening day. I had pre-ordered it, and was paying off everything slowly, I got some odd looks from people when I walked in, slapped 56 cents on the counter, told them I'd like a PS2, 3 games, a memory card and a second controller, and they gave it to me!! (56 cents was all I owed on that whole mess )
  18. Quite a mind Bender there Snider-man...
  19. Frogger II: Threedeep! - got in a load of carts (about 35 from Goodwill) for $28 total... Road Runner - 99 cents at a video game store...

    AtariPC

Has anyone tried putting one in a Jr??
  21. I definitely like the Light Gun Missile Command idea!!!
  22. Yeah, those keys were a little wonky...but as long as I could still hit the right spot on the circuit board, I didn't care. Someone in Muncie, Indiana probably has my old one, with the missing key on the light left hook button... Must search for one. I have so much crap I need to buy...
  23. Bowl-a-Tronic *sigh* I wore mine out in the day... I loved that game... That Tron tabletop gives me bad memories, I loved the game when I owned it, but the batteries leaked one day and destroyed it...
  24. @ Liveinabin - Great idea, especially since there are very few games I would give $50+ new...when I see a game I am interested in, I try to guage how oftern I will play the game, and then set me "Sweet Spot" price point. Thankfully, most of the PS1, Saturn etc. era now falls into my $15 and under category... I don't own many games for Jaguar, a couple lesser known games I dig are Flip Out! (Juggling game???) and Evolution Dino Dudes (neat little puzzler). For Saturn: A few maybe hidden gems I like are Astal (side-scroller), Decathlete, Robo Pit (odd little fighter), and Croc For PS1 - Critical Depth (it's Twisted Metal underwater!!) I have no idea how much it goes for today, I haven't seen it in years... 1 Xtreme (aka ESPN Extreme Games), No One Can Stop Mr. Domino, Incredible Crisis, Jumping Flash, Gunfighter (make sure you have a Guncon!!), Looney Tunes Sheep Raider, Big Strike Bowling.
