@ Gulag, what process do you use to get your databases to your Palm?/ I just started (today) playing around with PDB Converter and reader, it seems to do the job I want, but if there is a better way, I (and at least one other person on this board) need as much help as you can give us!! I use Cart Commander, and the databases start as .csv files if that helps...

I know it wasn't me Too bad too, I want a Donkey Kong case, and then modify it into a MAME cab (if that kind of thing is possible...) -
Thanks for the advice Fret. I'll try and be more watchful of the FPS, I thought it was all right, but I'll keep that in mind.

I just did this on PCAEWin...Sadly, whenever I try to record an avi of my game, the controls go all screwy...Both difficulty switches are on B. Not sure if this will show right...if it doesn't, the score is a 37...

How do you keep track of what carts you have?
Scooterb23 replied to General Atarian's topic in Atari 2600
Done Lemmi, thanks. I still need to get my 2600 and NES lists done...I keep putting them off because of 200+ count on both collections, and I have to write them all down before typing them in (with them being in the basement). -
Holy moley-Yet another Sniderman 2600 Mystery Cart Giveaway!
Scooterb23 replied to Snider-man's topic in Contests
Even though I also believe the answer is Pesco after reading everything, I'll guess something else... You aren't giving away a copy of your (hopefully) soon to be finished "The Ravenous Dead" are you??? :skull: -

Rats, I thought you had an answer for me...anyway, thanks for the help. -
I think those scores are the actual number of strokes taken, not an under par score. If that is the case, then the scores are all in reverse order (golf games tend to screw up perfectly good high-score tables). Looks like I need to hook up a VCR to my 2600, I've hit 38 before, that would be a record!!!

hardest and eaisest controllers to get used to?
Scooterb23 replied to Miles Tails Prower's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Easiest...I'm going to be difficult here, but the first time I held a Dreamcast controller, it felt like it was an extension of my hands...I love that controller so much!! Yes, I am excluding the 2600 in this, becaise that one screams ease of use. Hardest - The orginial XBox controller, not because of it's bulk, I have big hands, and it was comfortable in that way. I just thought the slanted buttons were too slick, and too close together. The N64 controller is also a mess. Especially that stupid Z button placement. Easiest - Dreamcast, 2600 Hardest - XBox, N64 -
#1 Baseball Stars after that... Any Mega Man game, #3 was my fave. Super Mario 3 Micro Machines NES Open Golf

I've dont that a lot already. I know the thing came on once...so there is hope for the thing, but I'm not sure if I am patient enough to make the effort right now...

I've broken 40 a few times...I think my best is 38. But that is really pushing my abilities to the limit. I believe par is 36 on this course.

Hey Ice, didn't mean to lave you hanging. Turns out that this 32X didn't come with that cable (thought it was in there, b ut it wasn't the right cable. I've tried everything, and cannot get the Sega CD to work. o chalk that one up as a loss that's 2 systems I now have games for, but no working system (the other is the 5200).

How do you keep track of what carts you have?
Scooterb23 replied to General Atarian's topic in Atari 2600
I've been using a little database program on my Palm called "List". Really basic, system and name of game is all I have there... I just started using Cart Commander, I have everything but my 2600 and NES collections stored in it already... What is the simplest way to get *.CSV databases to show up on my Palm Pilot?? I want to bring my Cart Commander lists with me, but I'm not savvy enough with the Palm to know how to get them there, and my "List", ummm lists are woefully out of date. One function of the CC I love is the percentage report...I saw a few of these in the off-topic a week ago. As soon as I get my 2600 and NES lists in, I plan on putting that picture up here... -
virtual on: oratorio tangram dual sticks?
Scooterb23 replied to liquid_sky's topic in Modern Console Discussion
I'll try and get a hold of one of my friends. He has the sticks, I think he won them off eBay a couple years ago for $80 or so if I recall... funny thing is he doesn't even have a Saturn. When he brings the sticks over though, I wipe the floor with him using my sad little Saturn controller... -
Lou Pearlman, don't ask me how I know...
