Well Russ, if you are reluctant to share your box code, maybe we are reluctant to share the number code Anyway, the border box code isn't morse code as far as I can tell, unless Morse code suddenly has 4 differently lengthed lines...looks like another dead end for now.

My progress...(official contestant #9 btw)
I've seen the box code in the outer border, it appears to be made of 3 different shades of green. It could be morse code, but it is going to be tough to weed out. I'll work on it.
I have the braille translated, but as with most other clues, it doesn't make a lot of sense, yet.
The left tree code doesn't quite fit with the symbols (unless Thomas was abole to get a very clear piture of those letters), but using Thomas' interpretation (about the trio is not...) I think it may have something to do with the number code.
Good work so far everyone, let's keep it up!!

I've been scouring everything on that site for 3 days now...and I've not seen anything past the letters in the scorpion's tail, the crypt clue Thomas was talking about, and the word clue in that other map. I'd love to know where all these 1-4 with 6s and "easy clues" and eveything else you people are talking about are coming from. But I can't waste any more of my time on this...I'd love to have the games, but it looks like I'm so far behind now

Looks like you have a nice and shiny Waterworld game there, nice...pretty decent price for that lot as well. Congrats.

Jawbreaker is a whole heckuva lot of fun!!! I now have to find a copy for my TI994A again, I had forgotten about that game.
-
Enduro is the best racer in my opinion as well. I've never played past day 6.

@ Bergbros, But if you read between the lines, it's not that bad really!!

I never said they had much, but that is where a good amount of all of their video game merchandise seems to end up...

The only tip I have ever followed for garage sale hunting is to try and go to neighborhood sales in places that are over 20 years old. Going to newer developments will only net you baby clothes, Pokemon cards, and NordicTracks. The older (and slightly less affluent I've noticed) the area, the better chance of getting classic video games. Also, near college campuses (campusii, campoxen??) I've noticed a lot of video games and great cds!!

I just got MAME .60 running correctly, and I want to see Poolshark on the 2600!!! What a fun game!

My tastes have always been just a tad off the beaten path...
1. Journey Escape
2. Fast Food
3. Circus Atari
4. Bowling
5. BMX Airmaster
6. Tac-Scan
7. Buck Rogers
8. Vanguard
9. Solar Fox
10. Reactor

I think the problem with going to Goodwill specifically is that they now have a nationwide auction site at www.shopgoodwill.com and the prices they are getting for video game eqipment is probably even higher than eBay now. I used to use Goodwill's auction site to get Atari 2600's and 15 games for $10, that same setup will go for $50-75. That's why you won't find anything anymore at Goodwill.

Since I don't collect boxed games, shrinkwrap means nothing to me.

Thomas...I believe you meant to say... That's a darn fine looking sandwich!!!

I have the oft told story of the CIB Quadrun for $3 that I passed up because I didn't have an Atari, got one 3 days later.
I also passed up a 10 rarity Karate game because I was getting a Froggo Karate game from a friend, turnd out the game I got was not the same as the one I passed up for $8 I think.

So are you saying that my "Three Week Bender" game might be axed too???
How about turning into a Married With Children game? Have Al try and keep Peg and the kids out of the house
Sorry to hear about this, I was going to make a trip up to the con just for this game, even though I said before I don't like Oink! I'll still probably try to go, but not having a Futurama game will definitely be a bummer.

This sandwich thing is a hilarious running joke...
Just like the Chicago Cubs, ba da boom!!
-
Tac-Scan was one of my favorite games!!! I still like Buck Rogers, although the flicker nearly gives me seizures...I've never played Congo Bongo, I hated the arcade game though

I'm just wondering if we can see the end screen from Bologna Thunder...you know, the one where the big plane from Combat flies by? (Look for the most recent does Pitfall have an end thread tosee what I mean). Another classic Moycon, you know, some of these games look like they actually could work on a 2600...sign of a good mock up. I need to try my hand at this, any tips oh mighty Moycon??
-
I would agree with bergbros about Sega, just for Tac-Scan. I think you should force yourself to buy the Froggo or Mythicon games, now that's a challenge. And don't mess with U.S. Games, they made Sneak 'N Peek, one of my childhood faves that I just got again last week!!

Actually, not so stupid, in fact, I believe Snider-man made a hack of Venture called something like the HozerQuest Thrifting Simulator. Pretty funny hack, I know you can get it through Hozer

Mountain King, this is the absolute bane of my existence. I find a game (for any console after Genesis), I love the game to death, but the second that I complete the game, I never play it again. This happened on SSX, I finally beat the game with Mac after about 6 months (don't ask), but once I did, I just never enjoyed it again. Just happened with Crazy Taxi 2, I finally scores an S Class license on both tracks, and I just don't feel like playing it anymore, I realize I could try to increase my score, but I've already reached the highest level, why play on?? And I've only had that 4 days, lucky I only spent $10 on it. Yet I never have a problem firing up Super Mario Bros. and wailing away on that, wonder why??

Never had the double-ender, but Artillery Duel is in my top 3 favorite 2600 games. I really want to get a copy again.

LOL at the "Airplane Sequence" it's almost as good as the bologna sandwich...if the two meet, bliss!

Russ, just kidding a little bit with you, I have not seen that box code you speak of...
For the number code (since enough of the players have seen it in my opinion...) do some color spilling in the area surrounded by the hidden message that got us in this mess in the first place
