And they are fixing so many broken consoles that it takes 2 or 3 weeks to get it back.

The Crusader: No Regret/Remorse games but only if they kept the third person perspective. There are already too many FPS games out there.

Can you use overlays with the bad boy? Yeah you can use overlays with it

Top ten most underrated games ever
AtariRocks replied to Math You's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I never understood why Pacman and E.T. were so maligned here. Maybe it's because I wasn't more than 10 or 11 when those games came out. -
The only other foul I'm aware of would be Charging, when the offensive player runs over the defensive player.

This is easily my favorite 7800 game of all time but then I'm also a huge basketball fan. Oh and yeah it's pretty easy to steal the ball from the computer over and over again if you're just playing it.

I know they avoided a cart port to avoid problems with the old software, but it seems the Flashback 2 got kinda trumped by a NES replacement clone that came out last year. I saw what they call a Generation NEX game console designed to play both the regular NES carts and the Famicon carts. It's big selling point is that it can play at least 97% of the original carts. After seeing that, I started thinking that the FB 2 might have been able to have a slot for original carts. But the Generation NEX is NOT an official Nintendo device. It's a clone done by a third party. I'm sure someone can do the same thing with the 2600 as long as Atari doesn't mind. Actually the Nintendo patents on the NES have run out so I'd suspect the same is true for the 2600 and possible the 5200 and 7800 as well so it may not matter if Atari minds or not. I think a new cart based atari system to sell it would need to play games from all 3 of those systems. The NEX will play both famicom and NES games which have different pinouts.

Are the 50 regular ones better? I figured the limited edition ones would be the special ones There'd be 5 times as many limited edition carts as regular ones. You have a point there. I just like the idea of have a box and book with it as well as maybe something xtra. I'll take what i can get. Yeah and I honestly don't care it's just a little humorous that they plan to make more "limited edition" ones than "regular" ones. Actually it would be difficult to prove you had one of the 50 regular ones anyway unless they numbered the carts and gave the regular ones a specific number range.

I'd much rather have one of the 50 "regular" ones as well. lol

I assume atkins mode only has lettuce and meat?

I finally got around to putting this in my CC2. All I can say is Bob has done it again. Apparently I've never played Asteroids Deluxe in my life as I don't ever remember seeing those alien spaceships before......at least I'd never seen the one that breaks up into several smaller pods and attacks you.

Consoles that have never had homebrew?

When you buy a yard sale 5200 you have a 99.9999% chance of none of the controllers working correctly.

Heck I'd like to get one of my specific carts dumped so I can play it on my multicart but am afraid to ask someone to do it as I'd hate to see what kind of "adventure" there would be in this place if the person who dumped the rom released it for their friends too and it eventually got out on the net. BTW the multicart comes with no roms on it as that would be illegal to sell. You need to already have all the roms. Search around the AtariAge 5200 section and see what you can find.

I'm not sure why anyone would buy a 360 either since they're reported to have a 30 - 33% failure rate. At least MS has extended the warranty to 3 years. I heard all the Wii hype and then played one and left quite disappointed. They still don't have the kinds of games I like to play.

Wish the previous owner didn't initial the end label! There you have it,WHY DO PEOPLE PUT THEIR NAME OR INITIALS ON THEIR CARTS!stupid little kiddies, why cant they share,MINE..ITS MINE,my names on it,na,nana, nana,na,STOP,IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This is something that pisses me off, finding an otherwise nice rare cart and SURPRISE........someones INITIALS written on the PERFECT LABEL..ohhhhhh joy! I'm sure that's exactly what that kid was thinking about back in 1986.............that it might be "rare" someday and they were screwing some collector.

I can't remember what my previous best score was but I just did 18,800 in about 10 minutes of play. I hate the second level.

Yeah I saw the Freedom Stick on google. They seemed to be hard to find. Looks like a clone of the NES Advantage.

ahh I see

I was wondering if anyone had tried modding these Messiah Wireless NES controllers to work with their 7800? I saw a couple of threads with passing mentions about them but no results.
-
Yeah I couldn't remember the name of the game for awhile then but then finally remembered and found it on my CC2. I just never had any illusions as to how good it was. lol My grandparents had that game when I was a kid. I think they got all their games in the $5 bin or something. That game was lots of fun to play...........basically one of those awesomely bad deals. I showed it to my nieces and they had lots of fun with it.

I see he still has no pictures up showing how they work either.
