If a solution to this requires a power supply, one may as well create a small expansion module, with two extra DB9 connectors, that draws power from the ColecoVision.
Instead of using the expansion port for power, could you do what was done for the Roller Controller? Roller Controller had a cable that plugged in the back of the Colecovision, between the system and the power supply cord.

I remember Spiderman had a pretty good tune, I don't remember any music in Superman. It's close, but I think Spider-Man is better.

Thanks for sharing and giving an update.Well..I'm an idiot. After putting in approximately 5 hrs over two weeks into fixing this, I was staring at the Wii and noticed the Gamecube controller was plugged in. That couldn't be it, could it?
I unplugged it, rebooted, and WiiColEm worked fine! The ROMS loaded right up. I'm back in business.
I guess you can't have the Gamecube controller plugged into your Wii, and try to use the Wiimote at the same time. Some type of conflict occurs, and freezes the entire Wii. It appears to be a problem in WiiColEm, but none of the other emulators.
I deleted, re-installed, reformatted, and downloaded from different sites over the course of two weeks, and all I had to do was disconnect the friggin' Gamecube controller!

That's exactly right. Happened to my sixer back in the day because I was fascinated by the weird effects of frying. Broke the power switch so had to take it to an authorized Atari repair shop.I dont see how it can hurt it other than physical wear and tear on the switch
I don't recall anything that good ever coming from frying. I can't remember even playing a game for very long in a fried state. Sometimes the system would just make a weird sound. Still, I was a kid, so I fried frequently anyway just to see what would happen.

Unfortunately, I have not heard of this particular adapter. But I have used the 2600-dapter with Stella and that works great. I have not experienced any delays with it, feels just as responsive as the real 2600 to me.Hello,
I'm considering purchasing the Retronic Designs USB adapter so I can use real Atari 2600 joysticks while using Stella. Does anybody have any experience with these adapters? Is the response time just as good as using a real 2600 to play the same game?
Thanks:)

most of the games that require the Driving Module have been hacked and the rom file is freely available.. check the CV Addict website.
NIAD, I've been trying to track down a hacked Turbo ROM for awhile with out much luck. I didn't see it on CV Addict, Destructor is the only driving game hack I can find there. Has anyone found these hacks recently?

it looks both complicated and hard to play. What do you guys think?Aye yie yie, Space Shuttle was complicated and got harder at the higher levels. After each time you docked, it would get much harder to dock the next time (meaning you use more fuel)! Brutally hard after a few attempts and you'd have the pressure of using up too much fuel and not having enough for landing. But it was rewarding to bring the bird home with a perfect landing and a little fuel to spare.

I'm a fan of the Atari 2600 Trackball. (That's right, I said it.)
What games are good to use with the Trak-Ball? I just tried Activision's Skiing with the TB and it was pretty fun.
Decathalon was good. You barely have to move the ball and can get great scores.
