  1. Looks like it does not. Sadness.
  2. I don't think the have's and have not's isn't bad if its like a Beef Drop VE vs Pokey. I love my VE edition. I think it would be more of an issue if games are strictly developed to use the extra ram. Then there is no option for those without XM correct? I don't think the money saving aspect is a huge selling point. I'm assuming the cost saving aspect is strictly for Pokey games. So right now in the shop that only affects Circus AA & BBCQ. How would this affect a Commando repro? Could you make a reproduction cart without a Pokey and the XM pick that up? How does this thing hook up? Does it just plug right on in on top?
  3. That was the other thing i was wondering. Pokey would be a problem but im guessing games made to use the extra RAM would not work on my non XM system.
  4. Guess i should have got those last few ballblazers i was watching on ebay for near 15 or 17 with shipping then.

    Salvo

I need to unlock it while still Christmas season, and enjoy the festivities with the other 'change'. I really need to play this some more this weekend.
  6. I'm assuming the reason it would make homebrews cheaper is that there would be no need for the Pokey in games like BBCQ? Or is there something else I'm missing with that too? I'm just trying to figure out if a $150 hardware upgrade to a 7800 is worth it especially when I already have CircusAA and BBCQ with Pokey. Not trying to be a Nay Sayer. I would be more concerned that no one is programming with it. There doesn't seem to be as many 7800 brewers pushing out stuff compared to the 2600. The AA store barely has over 15 7800 brew games listed. So assuming it knocks prices down by $10 then I'd have to buy 15 games to make it 'worth it'. I hope it does well and is very compatible with are the different system types. I've been lucky and all homebrews have worked on my 7800 so far. (I did pick up a checp 2nd option years back that I have just in case)
  7. Well if I push the bid up any higher my wife may kill me...
  8. How many features other than the high score and sound are going to be used? Wouldnt it be possible to just make a "game genie" like cart that has the pokey amd hsc functions and us that as a passthrough? I remember having this issue when I was almost preordering it years ago. I guess i just need the features explained to me in a dumbed down way or know what's being made or been made that utilizes something on the XM that doesn't revolve just around Pokey, soundchips, or high score saving.
  9. I thought there a board made that basically makes the XM pointless? Minus the whole keyboard computer part? Or am I remembering something wrong or thinking about hokey?
  10. Don't know but I got one of those EMR carts. EMR II should be slotted for release. I forgot about this one an just played it again and beat it the second try. Be interested to see if Byte Knight was planning on working more on this!
  11. Wonder if that works on my BVE edition? Have to check it out here in a minute.
  12. Was there am easter egg of some kind for this game? I cant find anything but vaguely remember there being something.
  13. Cool sounds like i need the micro version since i have more of those lying around.
  14. Yeah i know sizes aren't an issue with tiny sized games. I was just curious about performance issues if there were any. Id rather have someone over explain than not at all
  15. Is there a difference between the micro sd and standard sd version? Like does one work better than the other?.
  16. Has there been any update on PMP's Rainbow Brite game?
  17. I just got the walmart frogger. Really like it!
  18. If you an email the xls file to me i could try and convert it
  19. Google Sheets would be another alternative possibly.
  20. If you want to make it easier to browse you could freeze the first three rows with the labels. That way when you scroll down the labels are still on top.

    Which Astro?

Because there are 12 votes here and only a total of 8 reviews there. Astro Fighter only has two. That doesn't necessarily mean that it stinks either. Plus when everyone gushes it doesn't help discern which is better. Gameplay on both looked fine.

    Which Astro?

Started to look at that one too. I'm set on Blaster right now. I might pull the trigger on a couple of 7800 carts since I'm debating getting Draconian or waiting to see how long before I can get it without a box.
  23. That's my point though. I don't own Space Rocks which is only $5-$10 more than the Draconian box itself costs (going by box upgrades being around $20). I already have limited space too (I have a decent sized comic collection and don't need all my videogames taking up anymore than what they currently do). So while they are really nice, they do nothing for gameplay which is my main reason for getting the games. I have comics that I would rather ogle than an Atari box.
