Joystick with no button - walking. Joystick with button pushed - Up = open can; down = pickup animation; diagonal is diagonal shots; forward = shot forward. Basically can it function like it does now and just add the animations to the up down plus button push?

This is very true. I'm excited to see this develop as I haven't seen a game like this developed for the 2600. This could lead to a contra type port possibly

I like it better personally. It is much easier to explore and battle being able to move up and down. I don't feel like it takes away from the game by removing the squating.

Yeah I think if it can't be figured out removed. Moving diagonally is a chore. Otherwise I think this is looking good.

Reflex is cool. Any others I'm missing out on besides the first star castle?

I found a rom for Reflex. Is this considered no longer obtainable because it's no longer in a store?

Can't have too many action adventure RPG's on the 2600.

This is what I was wondering. Only walking up or down diagonally is not ideal. Not sure how that would affect shooting though. Other than that I'm liking it so far.

What's the main differences between EMR, Epic Adventure, and EMR II? I have EMR and thinking of getting Epic as i wait for EMR II.

I agree that it won't be a console in the traditional sense I really don't think it will have any arcade, 2600, 7800, etc games on it. If it has nothing to do with legacy hardware that would exclude all of that.

Is anyone just appreciative that any of this atari stuff is still out there? I mean everyone wanted a new hardware system. Now that retro 77 is out it seems to be getting picked apart. I sometimes feel the retro players will never be happy until they can go back in time. I'm happy that I can get a convienent flashback which I will be getting both the Activision 8 and portable. And I'm glad to have another way to play if my hardware craps out. I'm intrigued by the ataribox

I don't know this for sure but you may have to format it a certain way. Might be card incompatibilities too????

I did. I liked the second one (yours?) More. Seemed more polished. Other one was good though.

Back in the day my mother had her own map memorized to complete the game. I have never been that good. lol I will try this though
