  1. Man I must be lucky today, I slept in and went to my local Target and grabbed the last one. They had them on an endcap so I assume they had more than 10-15 of them.
  2. How good does everyone think the old Video Pinball machine was? Was it good? Ok? or would I be better off trying to find a Super Pong system, and how approx much would a Video Pinball system go for? Thanks!
  3. I feel the same way. I was all geared up for the FB2P then it got shelved. It wouldn't surprise me if the FB3 got shelved as well. Has there been official news even about what system the FB3 is?
  4. Love the DS, especially with the GBA compatability. If I had the money I'd have a Wii because they are so much fun.
  5. That's correct, little to nothing is usually revealed before the game is added to the store. ..Al So when is the holiday cart usually added to the store?

  7. I just hope that this thing makes it out, who cares what it is at this point. I need a flashback seeing how I missed out on the FB2 due to lack of funds. Feed me FB3!!!!! MrBeefy is hungry!
  8. Here's my two cents on this subject... I consider myself fairly young at 23 and was introduced to videogames back when my uncle owned a pong system and an atari 2600. I even remember playing the 7800 a little bit. I remember having fun playing such games as pac-man, boxing, pitfall, river raid, food fight, asteroids, etc. I even got better at these games with play. While I was exposed to the Atari I was mainly an NES kid, playing the Mario games, Battletoads, Ninja Gaiden, Simon's Quest, Super C, MegaMan, BlasterMaster, etc. Now these games I was the king at back then. Then time went on and I got an SNES, which was by far my most favorite system. Liked gameplay, nice clean colorful graphics, and some of the best games in my opinion. Then the GameBoy........PSX..........GBA.......NGC..........PS2..........and currently the NDS. I actually own all of these systems and have a nice collection of games for each system. With each new system I would master new games, and conquer others. Recently I've been playing old school games with my younger siblings and it's kinda funny. My younger brother has a very short attention span for the Atari games....hard and simple games very few with actual endings. He didn't seem to have patience for them. Him and my other siblings seem to do a little better with the NES, and even better with the SNES. Now when I play the Atari I know what to expect...hard simple games that I'm no longer used to......but I appreciate them. I like going for a high score or seeing how long I can go before my neckless Beserk character bites the dust. It's refreshing it's nice, but I'm not sure why. Then I start playing the NES. I start to play BattleToads, and Double Dragon 3, and Ninja Gaiden; games that I could get through with relative ease back in 'the day'. To my horror I find that I can barly make it to the 5th level in BattleToads without using a continue, get my butt kicked around in DD3, and the same in Ninja Gaiden. I began to realize that the newer gaming systems had watered me down...got me spoiled......and the worst of all....made things easy for me. I think this is why I like to pick up the Atari joystick once in awhile, I like challenges, I like a game to kick my butt hand it back to me and say 'would you like more of that?.....Hell yeah I do! BRING IT ON.....*whew* I love videogames but I'm hating what they are becoming. I love all of my systems and I love my newest system the NDS. I hate that all I hear about is graphics this graphics that, wheres the gaming? Where's the challenge? Now there is a time for a nice story in a game (I do love RPGs) but I hate being able to fly through a game without using a continue or anything. How can a game be fun when I could just bash the controller against the floor and all the random mashing of buttons still get me through the game? I don't know if this is making sense at this point but I don't see myself buying a system thats not a good handheld system, because it's all a bunch of watered down games that are all glamour and no grinding of the teeth (not even a clamped down jaw) challenging. The only system I can see myself getting is a Wii, it seems new, refreshing, fun, and like you might have to do something to actually play a game. The Atari and NES give me the challenge I need.....PSX/PS2 gave me stories, awesome cutscenes....SNES gave me a nice blend of both....and the handheld gaming seems to give me a healthy blend of everything even though they are still by far much easier than the Atari. Sorry if I'm just ranting/wasting time/not making sense I have had this conversation with others who all they care about is graphics, even though graphics don't make a great game. I love all my systems and I love how the Atari gives me something I can't find today, a challenge and a sense of accomplishment for reaching a high score on a hard game. .....Thank you for your time
