The game names is the biggest guess. I thought SideSwipers was Slot Racers. But now that's updated. The Bomberman one I'm pretty sure is Dynablaster.

Oh ye of little faith! If you need PS5 graphics there's been a possible leak that the PS5 might be just under/at $400.

I think this looks fun. I don't see it being as appealing 1 player though. Is there going to be multiple tracks or just the one? More traps than the ones we saw?

Yeah I haven't been a fan of the recent trailers. I do think the SideSwipers was one of the better ones in that it looked fairly complete and they looked like they were having fun playing. Missile Command did not look as though they were having fun and was more frenzied mayhem. Breakout might be the best footage they've shown in my opinion. If I had to go by what we have so far I would rank these as their top 5. Breakout, SideSwipers, Skiing, Moon Patrol, and maybe Cornhole. Conhole was pretty incomplete though.

March 13. It will only 'imprint' on the console. You still need internet. So it really isn't media. It's like a physical Steam key would be the best way I could equate it. It will tell the console you bought it amd download it from their store.

When looking overhead does anyone else think the discs look like eyes? The screen could make eyebrows that show you want emotion your friend is feeling. 😄

Yeah, I didn't know many of these people until people started posting their videos. Pat and Ian were the first I saw but that was because people posted their vids in the taco thread making fun of the VCS. They all seem to have their own drama and hyperbole. It isn't just CUPodcast.

Tommy has posted quite a bit and referenced them recently, so I don't think that helps. One of them was in this thread yesterday or the day before. So that doesn't seem done with it. I think it keeps getting kicked up by other tubers for clicks now. I'm not saying they aren't pretty over it either but I think Smash recently 'made fun' of Ian over a GoFundMe his boss started to help his employees. So, yeah... they aren't the only problem.

A long time ago I tried to say let the Pat and Ian stuff go, but they keep coming back up. It is something that in my opinion was blown up in the beginning and wasn't that big of deal. It then became one for various reasons. I also think the us vs them mentality isn't good overall. I think it takes away from the family fun message. I think there would be more than just that to make this go up in flames. Unless this somehow blows up to the demographic who doesn't know/care about said YouTubers.

I honestly don't think even the people who are labeled as haters actually hate it. I think it is twisted that way at times. People can dislike something and that's okay. I like the idea of the console because in principal it is what I've been wanting for years. But that doesn't mean I'm going to just throw money at it just because in theory I should. It isn't the consumer's role to just love something just because.

I will be the Sith advocate here. How can people know they will love it before they play it? I think its one of those things everyone in the extremes has their opinions on it and what it is going to be. Those opinions won't change or gravitate more towards the middle, or change from love/hate or vice versa until everyone has started to play it. Basically all anyone can say is they love or hate the idea of the console at this point. But what do I know? 🤷‍♂️

Or how hard it is to connect to the internet. If people buy physical too they won't be happy if they don't have it hooked up online. Hopefully they put that on the packaging that internet is required.

You need to get Carcassone. Become a current quarantine favorite. Really easy to learn, beautifully designed, and relaxing. It is basically playing a game while putting a puzzle together.

That is a dumb price for a controller. Also for mobile go with IPega I have an older one and it works fine for mobile or my RPi. Not that expensive either.
