  1. Already Sold: Boxed: Serpent's Star, Drol, Mancopter, Genesis, Hideous Bill, Flip and Flop, Deuteros, Nova 9, Tachyon The Fringe, Tapper, Operation Wolf, Fairlight, Mr. Do, Beyond Castle Wolfenstein, Castle Wolfenstein, Zorro, Potty Pigeon, Professor IQ, Bandits, Dragonworld, Rendezvous with Rama, Amazon, Below the Root, Alice in Wonderland, Time Tunnel, Purple Turtles, Altered Reality: The City/The Dungeon, Goonies, Gorf, Jupiter Lander, Radar Rat Race, Lazarian Carts: Miner 2049er, Donkey Kong, MSBasic II, Galaxian, Asteroids, Missile Command, Pole Position As mentioned in a few previous posts, I've decided to reduce my collection quite a bit. I've sold a few things here and there so far, but it's tough to make the decision as to what to sell and what to hold on to. So I'm going to try something very different. I'm posting some pictures of my collection here, and will open it to offers. Have a look through, see if you find any game(s) that are on your wanted list, and let me know. A few ground rules: 1. There will be games on the list that I decide not to sell - but I may not know that until the moment comes! You may be able to convince me with a great offer, or I may just say no. There are also a few things that are already sold. I will edit a list of these here and try to keep them current. 2. Most of the games in these pics are Commodore 64 or Atari 8-bit, but there will be the odd Atari ST/Amiga title in there as well. Feel free to ask if it's not clear from the box. 3. This is not "First come first served", I expect this process to take weeks, not days. So please be patient with me (I'm saying good bye to my babies here!). Pricewise, I'm not looking at eBay prices, but I'm also not willing to give these away for cheap. Make me a decent offer. Obviously, I prefer selling multiple games rather than single games. I will also give preference to Canadians who are able to buy via e-transfer, otherwise Paypal gift payments please. International is fine of course, but shipping is from Canada which can get pricey! 4. Generally my stuff is in really nice shape, but there are exceptions (e.g. Conan/Datasoft looks like a dog literally took a bite out of it, but it's the only copy I got my hands on). I will definitely give you details and pics of your wants once we get talking. Thanks and happy hunting! Broderbund, etc: Datasoft: Hard Clamshells: Commodore: Various: Bristles: Cosmi: Activision and Sirius: Atari 8-bit Carts: Atari 8-bit various: Album style: Atari ST: PC Games: AtariForce Comics (only interested in selling complete set): a
  2. I'm continuing to reduce my C64 collection. Up next are my Commodore Brand cartridge games. 16 titles in total. See pictures for details. Notes: * All carts were tested and working. * Half of the games are Canadian box variants (with the insert and "Cartridge" on the sides), the other half are the US versions. * Solar fox is missing the front insert. Tooth Invaders and Omega Race have one bad box side. Solar System and Music Composer have a rip on back. (see pictures for everything). * Six of the Canadian games had the game title written on one side with pen. (Not by me, of course). I would prefer to sell as a lot - $200 US / $260 CAD plus shipping takes them all. Paypal gift payment. Canadians able to pay via e-transfer will get another 10% knocked off their total. Thanks for looking!
  3. Weird thing... I just saw this movie (at least I think it was this movie) on an Air Canada flight in their documentary section. But it had a different title, "Game Change" or something like that (no, not the Sarah Palin movie - that would be a weird crossover). I cannot find any mention of an alternate title anywhere. Anyways, the documentary was well done. The final part (with Nintendo/Sega) felt like an odd tack-on.... most of the movie was about Atari, and then 30 minutes on the battle of 1990s. But still, good stuff in this.
  4. One quick bump... a day to go and everything still has zero or one bid. Could be some great deals here!
  5. I've repackaged items that I had up individually on AtariAge and ebay into lots at reduced prices. Have a look: https://www.ebay.ca/sch/mepaddy/m.html
  6. Thanks... I'd rather sell stuff together, but open to offers, I suppose (although shipping might just kill that). In the meantime a quick bump and a price drop, too!
  7. (SOLD) Continuing to thin out the collection. I bought a set of repro boxes and carts made by ManCaveArcade many years ago. They have been sitting in a box in a closet ever since then... time to move them to someone who will appreciate them. Just looking to get back costs... the entire set for $100 US $85 shipped within Canada or $120 $105 US shipped anywhere in the States. Paypal gift payment or interac e-transfer. What's included: - Custer's Revenge: both an original box and manual, as well as a repro box (smaller - same size as regular Atari boxes) and repro NTSC cart. - Bacherlor Party and Beat'em Eat'em: repro boxes, trays, manuals, and NTSC carts. - X-Man: repro box and NTSC cart. Note: the cart shell doesn't have the two side tabs. On my older model Atari I have to open the cart slot manually to insert it. - Chase the Chuckwagen, Waterworld, and Qbert's Cubes - repro boxes only (no carts or manuals). All tested today - see pictures.
  8. Here are two more pics. (there's a bit of discoloration in the grooves. Looks like dust but I can't get it out with Q-tips and alcohol. I don't use retro-brite or anything like that as I don't have any experience with it and don't want to accidentally make it worse)
  9. Little bump and price drop. How about $75 + shipping? Anyone... Buehler? (i.e. $95US shipped within Canada, $115US shipped to the US)
  10. 100% support to you, Al, this is such an amazing site and community, there's no way you should be penalized financially for it. To be totally honest, I've been planning to subscribe ever since the possibility existed, but then I'd keep forgetting about it or putting it off. This finally got me to put my ass in gear. I hope it has a similar effect on lots of other people.
  11. I plugged it into Canada Post, but only get ridiculous answers ($140?!?!). So I'm sorry - but Canada/US shipping only. (As mentioned, the power adapter and joysticks are Atari, but not from a heavy sixer)
  12. Yea, shipping into and out of Canada has gotten quite bad. I did weigh it to get an estimate for shipping: Looks like $20US ($25Cad) within Canada, and $40US to continental United States.
  13. I decided to sell one of my two Heavy Sixers. This has been cleaned and recently tested. Works great. Some detailed notes to avoid any surprises: * I opened it up to replace the video cable since the picture was very fuzzy. See picture of inside. With the new cable, the video picture is beautiful! * Not all screws are/were present in the backside holding the plastic shell together, nor seem to be original. * See picture of it working (TV and Space Invaders game not included, but I'll throw in a Combat and Air Sea Battle cartridge). * Includes two Atari CX-40 Joysticks and power adapter. (Note these are both Atari, but neither would be from the original Heavy Sixer, i.e. not CX-10. See attached pictures, happy to answer questions. Looking to get $85 US $75 US + shipping, paypal gift payment. I'm in Canada - so shipping beyond Canada and the US will be too expensive for sure.
  14. From my own experience, I'd say no. I agree with everything said above, and would add this: after working on a game for months or a year, you can get _really_ sick of your own game. I may not actually play the finished game that much, having played every piece of it to death during development.
  15. I've decided to reduce my collection - unfortunately they spend too much time just sitting on my shelf and too little time being played. A collection of various titles. A lot of them are from my Epyx collection, including some very rare titles (Barbie, Hot Wheels...). Also one of my Heavy 6ers. Items are priced for ebay, but if someone on AtariAge wants to do a direct deal with either gift/friends-and-family payment (or do a package deal) I'm more than happy to discount! https://www.ebay.ca/sch/mepaddy/m.html
  16. One more bump: Added PC game lot, Atari Force comics, and Commodore Super Sketch.
  17. Bump: Adding new items over the next little while. Up now, a small set of boxed Atari ST games.
  18. Oh cool! You know, I don't know why I didn't think of listing on AtariAge first. Could have saved me a lot of work with those individual listings. But all's well that ends well.
  19. After many years of (lovingly) staring at my collection in bookshelves around me, I've decided that I need to thin things out a little. I will add to this thread as things go along instead of making new threads each time. Shipping is from Saskatchewan, Canada - that unfortunately does mean that shipping to the US especially is pricy (but tracked). Commodore 64 Super Sketch Complete in box with cart and starter kit. In nice condition. This is another item I've had for (at least) 15 years, and always thought to myself "one day I'll try this out". Never have - so time to go to someone else Asking US $70 + ship. Atari Force DC Comic Lot Complete run of issues 1-20, plus "special" #1. All in really nice shape. I must be honest, I don't even know why I bought these so many years ago. I'm not a comic reader. Haha - time to put the shelfspace to better use. Asking US $25 + shipping. Big Box PC Game Lot Secret Weapons of The Luftwaffe (Lucasfilm), Tachyon The Fringe, Nova 9, Microcosm, Steel Panthers II, and Panzer General II. The latter two don't have the "inner" cardboard, just the flimsy outer cardboard. Steel Panthers II has both the game CD and the extra campaigns CD. These things are heavy - Luftwaffe alone weighs a metric ton (almost). So I'm honestly not sure how best to offer them. As the entire lot, I'd ask $50 (US) + shipping. (Edit - SOLD) Decided to sell my entire Retro Gamer collection. I currently do have them on eBay, but am happy to end listings and sell individual issues or lots to fellow AtariAge users for discounts. Send me a PM if you're interested in any issues. For direct Paypal gift payments from Atariagers, I'm happy to do $10 US or $13.50 CAD per issue plus shipping, less if you buy several issues. Do note that they are heavy (~375 g per issue), so shipping is high both within Canada and from Canada to the US (and as of two magazines they have to go out as packages, not lettermail). Shipping to Europe is pretty crazy.
  20. Sorry no, long gone. So long, in fact, that I can't remember selling them. And I look at the picture and think "why did I sell that one??".
  21. I recently introduced my son (11) to the Infocom games (started with Wishbringer). He loves it - so yes, I still think they have charm today.
