  1. Edit: Supraram spoken for - price reduced on remaining items as a lot.
  2. Thanks - I hope it finds a home (I wish shipping wasn't so crazy high). Edit: picture of supraram attached.
  3. Hi all, I have a set of Amiga hardware and software I'd like to sell as a lot: * Boxed Commodore Amiga 520 Video Adapter * Boxed Comic Setter * Boxed Amiga Vision * Various Manuals/Books * Original Disk Games (most with instructions, also some extra instruction sets without disks) * Stack of Local user group disks * Stack of 3-1/2" disks (various programs/data written on them) Edit: Boxed Supraram Memory Expansion has been spoken for - reduced price on remaining items. I'm not an Amiga guy, so I honestly don't know much about it nor could test out the disks or cards. For everything in picture (minus the Supraram!), I'd like to get $70 shipped within Canada (unfortunately, because of the weight, it would be more like $110 shipped to the US... most of it is shipping alone!). See pictures, if you have questions or offers, let me know.
  4. I thought I'd send a "thumbs ups" post here, for anyone who's not familiar with Mark's work. His repros are absolutely excellent - they stand side by side with other titles on my shelf and you'd have to try very hard to tell them apart from the real thing.
  5. I think the GAME was never really thought of as good. It was the graphics, for the time, that made this stand out. It was originally designed as a graphics demo for the Amiga, that slowly morphed into a game. The Atari Lynx version is actually the most playable version, but none of them are really "fun" to play.
  6. I assume you mean the original Cosmi disk. If so, here's the snippet from the instructions: LOAD "FF",8 when done, enter "RUN", then the loader will load the game proper. Have fun! (And remember, don't go walking slow! http://remix.kwed.org/index.php?search=don%27t+go+walking)
  7. A+ all around - easy to deal with, good communication, and items in great condition. Highly recommended!
  8. Wow: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 140998003180 Sealed Ultima II from Venezuela. Already at an amazing price! I hope they found a whole crate of them - I'd love to pick up a sealed Ultima II for $10 in a few months.
  9. Bump and price reduction... $175 shipped to Canada, $200 shipped to the US.
  10. Hi all, I'm looking to sell a big lot of boxed Atari ST games. These are duplicates or games I no longer want in my collection. Boxes are generally in great shape, one exception is Chaos Strikes Back, that is slightly squished due to the flimsier cardboard used (but still fine). Pictures of everything attached, including content shots of some of the likely more interesting titles. Infocom: Sorcerer and Stationfall Magnetic Scrolls: The Pawn and The Guild of Thieves Sierra: Kings Quest III (Note: MS DOS version), Space Quest II, Space Quest III,Police Quest AD&D: Heroes of the Lance Lucasarts: Their Finest Hour Simulators: Flight Simulator II, Falcon, Test Drive Other: BloodWych & Data Disk, Space Ace, RoboCop, Wayne Gretkzy Hockey. I'd like to get $220 shipped in Canada, or $250 shipped to the US (sorry, it's heavy!) for the lot. Paypal Gift payment appreciated.
  11. Just a general thumbs up post for Al - got mine in the mail today (boxed), looks fantastic (and the game is very fun, too, but I knew that already). Thanks!
  12. Just a note - if you need to hook up to a TV you need either a 1040 STFM or STE. (I can't help you, unfortunately, I do have one 1040STF but nothing with TV output)
  13. Very cool, Albert. I met Garriot at the Game Developer's Conference in 2006. It was a bit of a surprise, so I was too star-struck to ask any good questions. (Or I should have gotten him to sign my Ultima IV cloth map... that would have been cool!)
  14. They're heavy. I checked shipping - Canada would be $28. US would be $72. For Europe, you'd have to take out a second mortgage. If anyone is interested, let me know.
  15. Hi, I've decided to get rid of the rest of my Gazette Magazine colleciton. 30-odd issues from late 83 to early 87. I'd say 30 in great condition, probably 5-6 have a couple of pages missing (or the front or back cover)... I can remove those if you don't want them. These are in Canada - and I would imagine only shipping within Canada would be an option (I'm guessing around $20-$25 shipping cost). I'm happy to send these to the US, but shipping would be substantial. Any offers? Let me know.
  16. If the same thing happened to both drives (no longer working after using a particular disk) it's quite possible that the disk was "dirty" (e.g. decomposing disk surface) and mucked up the heads. You can try cleaning the heads - but be very (!) gentle. First, though, I'd check if there is an alignment issue... the easiest way to try to "reset" a drive is to format a blank floppy. Put in a blank (or no longer used, but clean looking) floppy, turn on the C64 and type in OPEN1,8,15,"N:MYDISK,01":CLOSE1 You'll hear a brief "ratatat" noise (if all works), and the process takes at least a minute. Then try loading the directory from that disk LOAD"$",8. If that works, proceed to try your other disks. If not, you can try repeating the process, or you may need to look at cleaning/re-aligning the head manually.
  17. I did like the 2nd bid.... $33,333.30. What happened to those last 3 cents??? Cheapskate! Glad Wonder got it... both because the sellers have an honest person to deal with, and because it seemed fitting for him to have the CIB copy, given what he spent the first time around. Again, congrats.
  18. Aaaand it's over! 33,433.30 ... congrats to all involved! WoW!
  19. Great Transaction, Thumbs up all the way!
