  1. Why ET? Obviously that game is based on the movie.
  2. They were available from Osheas up until they sold off a few hundred thousand carts for scrap to get out of the Atari business a year and a half ago. They had them for sale for around $.80 each for several years. Then bumped them to $2.00 each for a couple years. And finally a price hike up to $5 for the last few years they sold them. They are all still readily available from ebay and Atari sites around the net. I would say if you threw them on ebay you would get anywhere from $2 to $5 each for them.
  3. Ooooo... cool. Do you want anything else for free, or just Atari games? I have tons of stuff. This is a great deal. Can I pay the shipping too?
  4. Interested. Do you have a price in mind?
  5. So did you actually play through wave 84 of Demon Attack or did you dump the rom and compare?
  6. Nice. I have to be around 1000+. I am in serious need of a purge.
  7. Looks great. Just to be clear this is an original game and not a hack, correct?
  8. I use a really small regular drill bit for a pilot hole and then move on to the forstner bit.
  9. Sorry for your loss. It is very big of you to try and make things right.
  10. It is the "sharpie" writing, the type of pc board, metal shielding over the chip, type of chip (rom, eprom, etc.), and other distinguishing characteristics that align it with all other known originals. All fakes do not look like this (at least all the fakes I have seen). BTW, when you forward pictures like this to all the yo-yos on ebay that claim to have originals, they always come up with some sort of an excuse why they can't show you the insides... The main thing is if its a prom or an eprom. This is the correct answer. I am pretty sure someone could figure out how to fake the sharpie part.
  11. 10 player Saturn Bomberman is a good time with a good screen.
  12. If it doesn't take coins and run a genuine arcade pcb then it isn't the worlds smallest arcade machine. There is a guy that takes actual boards and does the same thing. Your unit is very sharp. Very nice craftsmanship.
  13. Yes... and they also state several other places that video games are not eligible. That quote of yours says nothing about video games, so I don't see how it helps your argument. Yes, some video games come on CDs and DVDs, but the PO specifically states that games don't qualify so it doesn't matter. And since this thread is about shipping atari games your argument holds no water at all.
  14. And they are crazy hard to find new for a decent price these days unfortunately.
  15. That would be something. Easily one of my favorite movies.
  16. This is not advised. Video games are specifically as not being media mail eligible. They can be rejected and shipped back or delivered postage due to the buyer. I don't understand why video games don't ship media mail. They are media aren't they? Just WTF? Yeah it sucks, but there are several places where the USPS specifically says that video game cartridges are not eligible for media mail. I have had a package show up postage due for just that reason.

  18. Same here. Oh, and even on very cheap and common games... never ship boxed games in a bubblope.
  19. Bubblope will always be the cheapest, but certainly not the best.
  20. There are at least 4 threads about this hack. Probably more.
  21. Chu Chu Rocket is fun single player, but 4 player "battle" modes is where it really shines.
  22. Al will make any cart you want for $20 (I think $20 is right). He won't carry it in the store. He will just make it and apparently drop ship it for the kid if somebody buys it out of his marketplace thread.
  23. Awesome. I thought you were gung ho about never ever selling this thing?
