I work in purchasing at my company. We buy lots of stuff via Amazon. The free shipping makes it worth it.

I share a membership with my mom, which helps take the edge off. She has it mostly for the Prime video streaming, since she doesn't have a smart TV. I alternate between free 2-day shipping, and free normal shipping with digital discounts thrown in.

I had it some time ago...I didn't seem to use it quite enough. The price is high to me.
