  1. "In-vag cams" is the most beautiful phrase in the English language :rolling:
  2. I can't get into any of the GTA games, they don't interest me. I don't care about the violence or the sex in them as long as it's adults playing it. I don't find those kind of games fun to play and many times I get motion sickness from them so I'll just save my money.
  3. It's wikipedia. Those articles have tons of incorrect info. I seem to remember a CV article from a magazine mentioning about 6 million CVs sold.
  4. Your age makes me feel old. You were born in the year I gradurated from Middle School. Bah, that's nothing, I graduated college before he was born!
  5. Wiimote could handle it I think/ I don't think so. As much as I like the Wiimotes and have no problem using them, they will never be as pinpoint accurate as the touchscreen and many games require that accuracy to be playable. I mean I guess they could do it, but I think a lot of the DS library would suffer from using them.
  6. Finished the main campaign for Days of Ruin over the weekend, juts playing through all of the practice missions and extra maps. I really enjoyed it, it might be the best one since the first.
  7. Every PS1 disc I have bought used looks like somebody used it to compound their car. Most of them work with a little cleaning but I've had a few that were just dead.
  8. He was a sports writer and was pimping Intellivision's sports games. I pretty much hated sports games back then (and still do) so the commercials never bothered me. Sure Atari Football was crap but I had no desire to play video game football. Space Invaders? Missile Command? Joust? You bet! And the 2600 had great versions of those games and the Intellivision didn't. Yeah, I was familiar with him and why they chose him but I still thought he seemed like a snobby dork in the commercials.
  9. That's a shame but maybe he'll change his mind in the future. It's more important that he do what's right for himself at the moment. CV homebrew scene seems tougher than the VCS side. There just seems to be less overall interest and I feel like the games don't always get the same respect for the work involved. I can't blame him if he finds it tough to get motivated to do it with real life stuff like his job to attend to.
  10. It didn't get me mad because I knew it was crap by the presence of George Plimpton. There's no way any game system that chose him as their champion could be good. And I was right. While the INTV has a few good games, overall it's library is not even half as good as the VCS.
  11. YES! Those friggin Coleco fun of discovery crap.. I too thought it meant something would happen if you got good enough or got far enough in the game and see something secret and new. And I too played DK until I was blue in the face to see what it was.. and there was nothing. Although I guess to be fair, I made it to the point where the fireballs "shook" around in place in the rivets level and wondered if that was what they were talking about In the manuals for the three CV homebrews that Scott Huggins has done, I included the "Fun of Discovery" paragraph in the text. I always thought Coleco put that in there so that when you found a glitch or a bug, it could be explained away by the Fun of Discovery. That makes it a "feature" not a bug!
  12. I second Airlock, I think it's fun. I like Defender too.
  13. You guys are both mistaking YOUR tastes for EVERYBODY's taste.
  14. Those people are dumb. Going by that logic, every product aimed at fitness from a sweatband to a Nautilus machine is an insult to gamers. It's utter nonsense.
  15. That guy should get a painful rectal infection. He's not funny at all.
  16. It was harder than many of the earlier missions but I did it on the second try. Like most AW levels, capturing properties to get funds is the most important task. You need a lot of indirect units like the anti aircraft missiles and rockets on that level.
  17. Yes, I bought James Bond thinking it would involve fighting guys on a train like the fake screen shots that circulated.
  18. I don't get it. Please explain how it's an insult to anyone?
  19. I'd toss Barnstorming, Spider fighter and Dolphin for Stampede, Frostbite and Beamrider. I'd also replace Pitfall with Pitfall II since it's superior game based on the same concept/play mechanic.
  20. Again, that's not something that only applies to Nintendo.
  21. Large portions of the entire video game industry's output is sequels and rehashes. It's complete nonsense to act like it's only Nintendo that does it.
  22. [sarcasm]yeah because the last time was soooooooooo terrible[/sarcasm] All of those great games on the NES and SNES... who the hell would want that?!?!?!?!?
  23. I'm playing thru AW:DoR right now too, up to #24 with some practice battles in there too. I haven't even tried it online yet, I'm more interested in the main game. I enjoyed all of the games with 2 being my fav. DS is probably the worst of them because of the ridiculous CO power overuse but it's not a bad game at all. The AW series is my second favorite series after Super Mario Brothers.
  24. That tabletop is nice, I like the small footprint but the price is ridiculous. It seems like it should be in the $1200-1500 range.
  25. I got it for $9.99 new on the Gamecube. I had a lot of fun with it. For a budget title, I'd say it was killer.
