I'm pretty sure the Super action sticks could be used in any game. In War Games though, it really helps to see the overlays to pick area, weapon, etc from the keypad.

This is really cool, lets hope there's a NES, SNES, N64 add on in the works.

I have to agree with hating Bridge. I don't understand anything about it.
As for my least favorite, I'm not a big fan of Starmaster, Space Shuttle, or Checkers.
However, since they made HERO and Kaboom I forgive any and all digressions from them.

I have both games for my DC and they do indeed kick butt. F355 control is weird but I adjusted thru my Madcatz wheel and now it's pretty good. I still stink something fierce at it though.

No, I'm not that technically savy. There was a thread about B&W problems before on this forum if you want to search for it.

I cannot believe some of the choices you guys are making!! I love most of these games.
My picks:
Firefly
Double Dragon
Karate (My pick for the most unplayable game ever for the VCS)

If you're getting a picture but it's in B&W, it sounds like the console has a bad chip.
-
Definetely Kaboom and Circus.
I'll add:
Pressure Cooker
Hero (I CAN"T GET PAST LEVEL 14!!!)

I've been playing Neutopia for the TG16 lately. That one starts with a splashsceen of the hero standing at the edge of a cliff. I haven't finished it yet so I don't know if it ends that way too!

I have a joyboard and Mogul Maniac too. I agree you can't possibly stand on it if you're an adult. The times I've used it, I always sat down. It will work with any joystick game so it can make some of you're more traditional games interesting.

I know many of you are much more hardcore than I because I buy the games to play them not look at them on a shelf. I keep the boxes, manuals, etc but unless it was something I know was super valuble (which means I would probably put it on Ebay to finance the rest of my collection), I'm opening that sucker. Collecting is fun but playing come first for me.

Now now .. be nice to the Channel F .. sure it sucks .. but it did mesmerize us kids who saw it in the stores in 1976 ! We didn't buy it .. but we did buy the 2600 in 1977 !(I'm still waiting for the Ch F homebrew programmers to come out of the closet.)

Does that mean all of the Channel F Homebrewers (of which I'm sure there are thousands!) are gay?

Congo Bongo on any system. I can't seem to get the hang of the weird pseudo 3d perspective.
Pretty much any Baseball on any system. Just like in real life I can't hit for @!%! I love video baseball but I ALWAYS lose.

It was UPS and the shipping was fair in price. It could be expensive depending upon which Goodwill it's being shipped from. The stuff doesn't come from a central location, it's from the individual stores all over. I've been lucky with them so I'll go back.
-
I have. I got a 4 port 5200 and some other game lots there. No problems at all. They take credit cards, package the stuff really really well(in fact I have never seen so much bubble wrap and stryofoam peanuts in one box)and they ship pretty quickly. The problem on systems and stuff is their "testing" consists of turning the unit on and seeing if there is a power light. That's it. Give them a try.

I think the article is hilarious, as is the rest of Seanbabys site. I don't think Channel F or VIS was an option since he had to choose from what EGM gave him to play. If anyone is insulted by the choices or stab at the Jaguar I offer this quote from Stripes:
"Lighten up, Francis."

Hey! I'm broke at the moment but maybe you're not. I was just looking over at www.shopgoodwill.com and they had a lot of videogame stuff up for auction. Go to www.shopgoodwill.com and click on cameras and electronic equipment. Off the top of my head I saw a boxed 5200, games for 2600,5200,7800, Atari computers, Sega Saturn, and various Nintendo flavors.
Good Bidding!

OK I take it back, I thought you guys were complaining about this topic coming up again.

BT on the CV with Superaction sticks. Sizzling good burgers!

The DC is a GREAT system and very fun to collect for mainly because of it's wide variety of options. It has a fishing controller, maracas, steering wheel, keyboard and a gun. Kick ass! There aren't that many games for these accesories but they're still fun. I may take some heat for this but frankly I like the DC much better then X-Box or PS2.
-
I agree this has been discussed a lot but if you're not interested don't read the thread. I personally like seeing the different perspectives. I know neither console is going to "win" or cure somebody's gout or whatever but it's fun to discuss.

By the way, here's screenshot from Tank World. It's amazing what some of those programmers could get Stella to do.

I have had transactions with both CosmicJoke and NoahsMyBro for Atari stuff. Both deals were flawless and quickly executed. Thanks again guys, and I highly recommend them to anyone.
