  1. I dig the SMS a lot. Particularly the lightgun games. I think everybody should pick up and SMS and a NES, it's another one of those times I think the competitive libraries really compliment each other well like the CV and 5200.
  2. I use Genny 3 buttons on my 800xl. Never had a problem with any game. Strangely enough they don't work well with many Commodore 64 games. I would have thought the joystick ports were pretty much the same as the A8s
  3. started back up on the box/labels/manual here's what I have so far for the box cover and the labels

  5. I doubt it. I think the CV version is the only one programmed by somebody other than Bill Hogue hence the different order of screens and slightly different graphics. I like the CV version better than the A8 versions but man is it hard. The A8 versions are much easier.
  6. NTM is definitely more of an arcade golf game than something like Tiger Woods. I like the Tiger games but sometimes a nice quick moving arcade game is fun too.
  7. SNK Arcade Classics is a great compilation. I've been playing that a lot since I got it for the PS2 a couple of weeks ago. The only complaint I have is the painfully slow loading and saving. Before I bought the PS2 one I was hoping there was an Xbox version so I could get something that loads quicker.
  8. Yup, yup, yup. Every gamer should have both. Especially because Genny stuff is super cheap. I prefer the SNES but I wouldn't diss the Genny for great games.
  9. Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart and Super Mario All Stars are must have games, IMHO. other stuff I really like on the SNES: Choplifter 3 Desert Strike Jungle Strike Both Castlevanias Contra III Ka-blooey All of the Mega Mans Maximum Carnage (Spider Man game) StarFox Super Punch-Out Pilotwings Super Metroid F-Zero and a bunch of others. The SNES has big library, there's a lot of crap but there's a good number of excellent games.
  10. You can't argue with the Ramones! Although to correct my bruddah Chris, stuff about commies, mommy and salami aren't the laws of Germany because the lyrics says: FIRST RULE IS: the Laws of Germany SECOND RULE IS: Don't talk to commies etc etc so the laws of Germany are just part of the list of 4 rules for a Commando. So yeah, Commando is a great game both in the arcade and on the NES and funny Ramones song to boot. My favorite Arnold movie too.
  11. You nailed it. I remember playing the NES version and thinking, "What the hell? That never happened in the arcade!" @Chris++ Be sure to play the Ramones "Commando" while playing it in MAME, it'll increase your scores
  12. I think the VCS has a ton of games that rarely get mentioned that are really good. I agree with most listed especially Pressure Cooker, Maze Craze and Infiltrate. My favs that I'd call underrated: Frankenstein's Monster Entombed Threshold Room of Doom
  13. How are the controllers for the Hyperscan? I've seen them for $2.99 and was thinking of picking up a couple to use for future hacks.
  14. Blasphemy! If it ever happens again, why don't you just sell me the broken CV at a nice discount? I'll keep you in mind.
  15. I had to do this on one of my CVs. It was royal pain in the ass. I think if it happened again, I would just look to buy another CV instead.
  16. I wrote a quick list of steps in the thread that remowilliams mentioned (here is a direct link to them). I was selling quite a few modified RSI sticks to other AA members at one point, and I do still have a few new RSI sticks. I recently collected enough parts to build two complete sticks, so if anyone is still interested, send me a PM. Here are my most recent prices ($40 plus shipping per stick). I was just about to post that link to your instructions but you beat me to it
  17. I did my my own RSI mod and I'm a total amateur with soldering gun. It was really easy following the instructions that were posted in this forum.
  18. Why would Nintendo care if 100% of Wii Fit owners don't use it? Nintendo gets to keep the money whether people actually use it or not. Besides I wonder what the percentage of people regularly use ANY exercise machine that they buy? Most people I know buy one and it becomes a clothes hanger after a month or two.
  19. Really? I'm surprised to hear anybody say they like the O2 better. I had an O2 with the multicart so I had every game except for some of the newer homebrews. I think I found 4 maybe 5 playable games on the whole thing. I like a lot more than that on the 7800. Of course, there's no right or wrong in that sort of thing but man, oh man did I regret buying an O2. I sold that thing at loss just to make space in my room.
