Should have Missile Command built-in so you should be able to test it without buying an extra game. The GS just has regular phono out for A/V so any two on each end phono cable should do, I just use an old hifi cable.
Best,
Chris

I've never found this game in all the years i have been collecting(I'm 37 and had 2600 since 1981).
Lucky sods, if anyone wants to donate

Centiped CIB for the 8-bit.
Been wanting it for ages, 8-bit games are thin on the ground on ebay UK.

Agree with all here except Airlock, maybe i'm missing something(probably, happens all the time) but this is an awful game, frustrating and beyond the title animation unspeakably ugly, a piss poor, timed Donkey kong rip with no redemming features. Please tell me if i'm missing something in this game(REALLY).I am definitely in a minority here.
The game is horribly short and can be beaten very easily.
However, the harder version of the game (don't remember if it's the difficutly switch or game select) is a lot of fun for that short time period.
It was the first game that gave me an adrenaline rush with the 'oh shit I'm gonna die' feeling as the water rose up and you mis-jumped.
Running to get to the next level with the water right behind you got my heart pumping.
The fact that you could escape and 'win' was also a thrill for me.
I think that if you didn't play it when you were young and found it as an adult collector, it will
be a disapointment.
Playing it as a kid when it came out was unique. You could win, it put a lot of pressure on you to escape, it had a claustrophobic feel to it and there was a victory screen. Many of these things were unheard of (or very rare) back then. Most games just got harder until you died with no chance to win.
(Life is like old video games... they get harder and harder until you die... unless that game is airlock.)
Thanks for giving it some perspective, I'll have to give it another try.
Thanks what i love about this forum, open minds and different views open new things.
best,
Chris

What you are describing is the very definition of an emulator. As we've all seen, emulation is seldom 100% perfect.I thought an emulator was a programmer's attempt to get games working as closely as possible, but what they made really wasn't an exact virtual duplicate of the guts? Isn't it different from a 3D virtual reality copy of an Atari 2600 that simulated electricity runs through? The only difference between the Atari 2600 on the computer screen and a real Atari 2600 would be that you couldn't touch the one in the screen. Is virtual reality advanced enough to simulate enough of the real world to do that yet?
weirdly I have the intellivision 10-1 Plug and play effort and the emulation/simulation is apparently really poor but I still like shark! shark! on it as much as i did playing on my mates real hardware back in the eighties plus it only cost £2. Maybe the controller and TV combo. I guess we all grew up playing games on the old Cathode ray tube!

You NEED a supercharger & Frogger(aracadia offical), Commie Mutants, Dragonstomper and Phaser patrol.
I like some of the M-Network games too, Adventures of Tron(has collision issues but is fun), Burgertime & Astroblast.
Would also reccomened Space Shuttle if you can find it complete(the overlays and manuals are really a must!) just to show what the 2600 is really able to pull off. I also rather enjoy Infiltrate and Spacechase 'RUNS'
edit: Forgot Galaxian, Pheonix, space Cavern, Bermuda triangle, Kangaroo, Ghost manor & suicide Mission for the Supercharger.

I'm totally with Ransom here.
Emulators are a VERY poor subsitute for the real console. I use Stella to look at a game to see if i want the real cart and nothing more.
The Odyssey2 and Vectrex are 2 systems i really feel give you nothing under emulation as well, the whole feel is just not there.
Even down to opening the box and feeling the cart in your hand, having something solid is important to me, I don't use itunes for the same reason.
there is no substiture for the real thing as far as classic games are concerned.

They will always be ghosts to me as I played the 2600 version long before I saw the arcade machine. Arcade machines were few and far between where I live back in the day.

Have Megadrive 1 & Mega CD, favourite games are De-Cap Attack, Bio Hazzard Battle, Jag XJ220, Time Gal, Keio Flying Squadron & Soulstar.
I'm in UK so some of those probably had different titles for you yanks!

I have the 360 version, it the follow up to Zombie Hunter 1 & 2 for the PS2(at least in PAL land). To be honest it's not much different from the PS2 releases even visually. I think it is by the same developer as Earth Defence force 2017 & there prequels on the PS2.
The motorcycle riding in the 360 version id pretty poor, but otherwise it's good brainless fun.

Thanks!

So it is just a label variation then? No difference in the actual game code.
Makes me wonder about the comment on the atarimania entry for lochjaw.

Any one have any info of pics on these? were they ever even presented?

Acording to atarimania there are some subtle differences between Lochjaw and Shark Attack, can anyone enlighten me as to what they are?
Thanks!

Thanks folks!
I'm in the UK so we call the Sega Genesis Megadrive over here & Mega CD is equivalent to your Sega CD.
Had both intellivision & Colecovision but to be honest can't get on with the controllers.
Atari 5200 was unreleased in the PAL territories so means no end of problems and expense.
Have bought 3 NES consoles in the last 3 years & all have been broken and I dumped the carts off to the charity shop. The top loader was never released in the UK(see 5200).

Well there's Turok for 360, played the demo off live and it didn't impress to be honest.
Think the other game your talking about is Dino Crisis by the Resident Evil guy?
Best dino game i know is Jurassic Park operation Genesis for the Xbox1.
