  1. If anyone uses the frontend: CORE TYPE R I have a Dintar's Pac-Man pack. I call it "Pac-Man - Arcade Edition" Extract into the root directory I use the artwork from this exact thread, and also Dintar's 8k youtube video preview. Enjoy! TYPE R - Atari 2600 - Pac-Man Arcade Edition - by Kaz.zip
  2. XBOX CLASSIC XBOX Program: Ninja Massive I have made an install for this wonderful game for this program. NINJA Massive.zip

  4. My current favorite Atari 2600 games: Dintar's Pac-Man: Pacman26008kv8c.bin Followed by these: Stay Frosty 2.bin Donkey Kong Arcade.bin
  5. This is an awesome pack. Here's an updated rom for "Dintar's Pac-man". Just posting it here, if people wish to play the most recent version which features 'fast cornering': I used the naming convention of this rom pack: Pacman26008kv8c.bin
  6. I keep losing the page where the most recent version is. I'm just attaching it here for convenience. This one features cornering. This was posted on page 60 of this thread. I named it similarly to the "Flashback Portable" post on atariage, in case that helps with compatibility. 7. Are there any other cores for this besides atari 2600 and coleco? I've googled everywhere, I can't find an answer.
  8. I am having this exact issue also. I have had carnevil working in the past in other versions of mame. It is such a cute game. mameui229: I cannot fire using the left mouse button. I can get the mouse to move around the screen. (I couldn't fire in area 51 either). I don't think corruption is the issue. Ride all the rides, then eat your heart out on a sesame seed bun! I used to have to open up some sort of config menu inside the game I think. Had to press some f key to calibrate. Might be this game, or some other.
  9. By the way, I like reading about the comparisons of analogue vs pi vs mister. This info is useful and interesting tbh.
  10. What exactly is garbage on the mister? Atari 2600 core has a few minor bugs. I would never call it garbage. Edit: some have been fixed even in the last couple months. I was trying to help with the compatibility sheet. I wanted dintar pacman to work well. But other cores seem incredible and accurate. I dont like the lag on a pi. I cant go back to that.
  11. Fix for [Mister FPGA] (Atari 2600 core): To get Dintar's pac-man to work in 'mister', you need to use this special .rbf file. Just replace the existing .rbf for Atari 2600. It has vblank options in the core. This is an 'unofficial' build (adjusted just today in fact). If you don't, it will not show video output, just sound. A new challenge perhaps. Here is the mister forum post discussing it: https://misterfpga.org/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=764&p=9916#p9916 It also fixes various other games. I also tested 'princess rescue', and it also works. ------------------ Edit: While not 'authentic' I really like using the setting: 'scandoubler fx': HQ2x Edit2: Dintar's pac-man works in 'mist' fpga. 12. Well, I'm gonna write in. My first system was a 5200, and I literally had like 3 games. Think they were Pac-man (ofc), Kangaroo, and Space Invaders. Played those games soooooooooooooooooooo much. To give you an idea: Pac-Man: I played it so much, the rubber ripped right off of the joystick. It was still functional (perhaps even more responsive?) Kangaroo: I used to clear all the 4 stages, and then the fun would begin. I would park on the second platform (1st stage), and just try to dodge everything that came. I enjoyed the strange sound effects when two apples were thrown at once. These games were something special. They were all I had. And oops, not in the right section. Story of my life.
  13. Just here to pay my respects.
  14. Here is the current version of this game. Author: Dintar816 Version: "pacman2600_8k_v8test_corn" Date: October 11, 2018 https://atariage.com/forums/topic/229152-new-pacman-for-atari-2600/ pacman2600_8k_v8test_corn.bin
  15. I just tried out the system for the first time minutes ago. The (lack of) latency is incredible! I played super tennis, and it felt like I was on a crt. Has anyone done latency comparisons with this vs. a crt setup? super tennis is a game where the tiniest bit of latency will cause you to miss a shot (you will completely swing/miss). Especially when your character is in the upper part of the screen. My friend and I used to call it 'breaking' when you lost while on the bottom. I am just in awe!! I am using a sd2snes cart.
  16. I just bought a super NT. What's a good sd card I should get for it?
  17. I got my Flashback 9 Gold working great with this SD mod. I fired up some Dintar pacman, and some princess rescue. Wonderful. Thanks a ton!
  18. I just want the pac-man made by Dintar to be on cartridge. It is an incredible game.
  19. Paddles will be supported in Atari flashback 13 GOLD DELUXE MEGA ULTRA EDITION v3. I just bought an atari flashback 9 gold because I heard it was able to be modded. I'll just put Dintar's pac-man on it, and call it a day.
  20. Thinking of releasing this on cart yet, Dintar? I'd love to buy it!
  21. Hey Dintar, I was wondering if you would consider submitting your game to "Video Game Critic". http://videogamecritic.com/ I've asked him now twice to review your game, but he keeps telling me to 'have you send him a review copy'. I've even referred to this forum thread. I just want your game to be enjoyed by as many as possible, plus I just know it would get an awesome review. I even told him that Tod Fyre himself played your game and loved it.
  22. I was referring to Opcode's first gradius high score picture. Opcode (I think) is taking the picture, and to his left (our right) there is a young kid in the picture (I think-it is kinda dark). You have to zoom in tho.
