  1. I don't really like this kind of thing, but ok: 1: How many different titles, counting same game by different company as a different title, do you have in your 2600 collection? - 31 2: What's your favourite 2600 model? (Clones included) - 2600 Jr., and my new Flashback, which is really a 7800 design, which is in turn, 2600 compatible (the 7800) 3: What are your 5 favourite games for the 2600? - River Raid, Phoenix, H.E.R.O., Death Star Battle, Sky Diver but many more, I love most 2600 games, Enduro, Frogger and so forth 4: What company made the best looking games as far as casing goes? - You mean game boxes or cartridge cases? Boxes = ITT, cartridges...it's a plastic shell, who cares 5: Do you still own the first system you ever bought? - No 6: What other game systems do you own? - Approx 40 systems 7: Do you own any of the "adult" titles for the 2600? - I own X-Man and soon I hope to own Beat 'em and eat 'em 8: Do you buy games online, in the wild, or both? - Online 9: How do you store your games? - Book shelf 10: Do you have any complete collections from any maker, not including homebrew companies, for the 2600? - Yes, Gamex
  2. I purchased a Flashback today and I am playing Sky Diver (love that game) for 2 hours, checked out Crystal Castles (I'm not very good with this kind of view, 25 minutes. Still I give it another try soon). Air Sea Battle is quite good too, played it for several hours. Don't like the mixture of 2600 and 7800 titles, I think they should have made two consoles, one with VCS games another with 7800 games. Nevermind.
  3. Ooooh Mangia, I always wanted Mangia. I guess I never get that game, and it's boxed too. Congrats.
  4. And they had that weird thing I've seen here before, Web-this or simular.
  5. My console came enclosed with Phoenix. Great game. My first bought game were 2 games, Super Cobra and Ms. Pac-Man. Super Cobra is one of my favorites, and the woman rules anyway. Ms. Pac power!
  6. Today was an easy day, played and finished River Raid (8.5 hours). Got exclamation marks at the end, that was so cool.
  7. I never understood this, how am I (not me personally, but females in general) not suitable for children, only because I might be naked or wear little. Come on, you guys are men, explain this male-outlook phenomenon to a woman.
  8. Or are all Game Boy boxes same sized? US/Europe one size, Japan smaller size. I seem to remember one GB game featuring the four player adapter (some racing game), which was like an 2600 game size box. Any others? Any pictures?
  9. I finally got around to playing Sky Skipper (3 hours) X-Man (third maze/bonus screen twice) Enduro (day 7)
  10. I remember that, I have the Broderbund/Synapse catalogue somewhere. Relax for C64, Atari computer and Apple 2 computer (maybe not Apple 2).
  11. Also because they supported the C64, Apple 2 computer, and, to a lesser extent, the Atari XL. Disk software from Activision was very popular, especially titles like LCP, Master of the Lamps, Hacker, Alter Ego, Portal. Also, Activision started a UK office (84/85), bringing to the UK titles like Eidolon, Koronis Rift, Fractalus to the C64, and also some UK written software like Enduro Racer, Rampage, After Burner, Galactic Games for lesser computers like Spectrum and CPC. Infocom software kept them going for a while too. Computer software kept them afloat, although Activision did go 'bust' in the early 90s.
  12. Those 4 titles are German distributions of 'English Software' (the company)?
  13. Very nice. I only have 30 VCS games so far, but I only collect boxed games.
  14. You know, SS4U always charges outrages prices. It was a limited release only in the USA in the first place. Since the game never had a European release, I wouldn't worry about it much. A European Jaguar collection is definitely complete without Battlesphere.
  15. Hello, thanks for the answer Mr Hunter. I guess I'll be 'hunting' down some Mystique carts, complete if possible.
  16. Beginning Nov: playing Popeye (3 hours) Ms Pac-Man (2 and a bit hours) Ghostbusters (kinda weird game, can't get into it really, 25 minutes)
  17. What is the 7800 really capable of? Playing video games, no better or no worse than all the others out there.
  18. I liked the demo, but not the music. Euro disco trash, yuck.
  19. As I said, the SNES was ok, but also the Amiga was better game playing machine than SNES. Amiga had more games, cheaper prices, better quality, at least here in Europe. But Mega Drive was our all time favorite. Whilst we were playing Vectorman and good games like that, our SNES was used by our 5-year old playing Super Mario World. She liked it.
  20. SNES was ok, but the games were a bit 'girlie'. Mega Drive had 'real' games.
  21. shouldn't that be MegaDrive? No matter, happy birthday, you top 16 bit console.
