I have not played the re-master or whatever they are calling it for the new consoles/PC, but I am a huge fan of the original. The atmosphere, level design, and scripted events, made for a killer experience.

Doom Eternal just released and came with it as a preorder bonus.  Also was released separately on Xbox for $5.  Not sure of availability on PS4

Doom 64 is the best of the classic games. Since it was an N64 exclusive, I think it was a bit of a hidden gem until it hit the online mod community, where it became somewhat of a cult smash without people realizing it. Meaning alot of modded Doom versions out there were based on the Doom 64 engine IIRC.

I was talking to a co-worker today, who is an avid gamer, he's played alot of stuff. He was interested in Doom Eternal and was also wondering what Doom 64 was, so I clued him in. He never had a N64, so had no idea Doom 64 existed. Just an anecdote.
