They are in space. Pretty sure their paths can be adjusted...
Two years ago when some were being launched and deployed they caused a lot of UFO reports. I saw one batch one night, it was really cool. Long string of lights going across the sky in a straight line evenly spaced. Then I looked up the future dates and saw them a few more times.
Supposedly they have changed them to be less reflective, as it was ticking off the astronomers.
