Thanks for all the well wishes for our dog.  Today was not the day, the vet had my wife bring her home this morning but they were still waiting on test results. They called later when they got them.  They were still bad, so now we are taking her back in tomorrow morning for the end.  I'm pretty irritated with them about all this, but at least my wife and I get to spend her last night together with us at home instead of a kennel.

We've had her 11 1/2 years, and she was 3-4 at her rescue age, so she has had a good run and very comfy life.

After nearly 23 years I think it may finally be time

Ugh. New car purchase day is finally over. Went with a Toyota GR86. Should last 15+ years, I wager.

Our security cam just captured footage of a man wearing a Hello Kitty T-shirt looking around and then taking all of the candy from the bowl my son left out for Trick-or-Treaters and dashing off. Luckily my son listened to me and kept some candy in reserve so we could refill the bowl. All the kids were nice and took only 1 or 2 pieces.

I like Tabasco.  I just tried Tapatio brand hot sauce and it is good.  Sriracha is also on my list of hot sauces to try!

Last night I broke 2 toes.   I can't go back to work for a couple of weeks because it's very tricky to drive a 5-speed for very long with a busted foot,  (Broken toes on my left foot).  So I guess I'll have to stay on the couch,  drink beer,  watch movies and play video games.   A wise man once said,  "It's a cushy job, but someone's got to do it!"
