  1. A1 83 5278956 Longhorn Engineer mod installed by Longhorn Engineer himself!
  2. The new Walking Dead gun game is pretty sweet. Also look up the Star Wars Battle Pod. Couple years old, but awesome. They also made a fighter jet shooter in the same cabinet.
  3. Hot sauce arrived yesterday, and is fantastic!
  4. CoCo 3 with Sock Master's version. The most arcade perfect version on any 8-bit system.
  5. I'm tempted to buy a speakerhat to wear around the MGC. Yes, I have overpaid for gags a few times. Maybe if it drops another 30-50 bucks. And wow, 3 brand new users in as many days just to come and talk Ataribox. Welcome!
  6. I tried to take pictures to get the patches back in the day. Every single one taken with my crappy 110 camera would come back from development with a portion of the screen without the score. Every. Single. One. Pitfall II, Megamania, Seaquest, Starmaster to name a few. Insert 'kids today and how lucky they are rant'
  7. Civ VI plus 2 DLC packs for $12 if you subscribe to the Humble monthly bundle. And you can cancel anytime, game is a Steam key so you won't lose it. https://www.humblebundle.com/monthly
  8. I think I would be. I put it on my (not tuna) steaks. Their steak sauce is pretty good too, but not really necessary since the hot sauce works just fine. Also amazing on potatoes - baked/mashed/chopped, whatever!
  9. Thanks for posting about this stuff and the review. I love the regular El Yucateco habanero sauce. Been needing something new to add to the selection for awhile. Ordering now! BTW, here's one of my other staples I've been buying for 15+ years, they also have it on Amazon: http://www.ringoffirehotsauce.com/products/ring-of-fire-chipotle-roasted-garlic-hot-sauce
  10. Saw one on the shelf at a Target on Saturday, and then today saw 4 sitting in the case at a different store. I think it might turn into a glut!
  11. Now that it's after Christmas, I can post about my wife's present. First of all, thanks very much to FrankODragon, who created this for me. I contacted him this summer with an idea I had after seeing his other hacks of Fast Food. I would like to present a game based on our dog Pickles, who is a Beagle. If you don't know about Beagles, they cannot be left unsupervised in the vicinity of any food. Title screen Gameplay Cart This was my first attempt at creating a label, and while it does the job, the amount of time I put in to such a crappy photoshop job was ridiculous. (and yes, if you see the extra corner, that is a 2nd label I stuck over the first attempt. Thought it might make it more stable to leave the old one underneath) Anyway, thanks again to Frankodragon. My wife thought this was hilarious. And it's an R10 since I have the only one!
  12. Heard he was at the MGC this year from others but I didn't run into him.
  13. Amazingly, none. Managed to keep everything 2600, NES, and CoCo from childhood thanks to my parents having a big basement and saving everything until I was on my own. Later in life I aquired a Neo-Geo AES and a decent number of games. But sold the lot back in 2011 or so when I needed some cash, and also bought an MVS. Kinda regret that decision now. Sadly now it is nearing the time I should think about shrinking down the whole collection.
  14. Can't be worse than the abomination that was "A Christmas Story Live" that was on Fox last weekend. I was interested and set it to record. And then, as soon as it started, we realized it was a damn musical. Boo. Also saw an online comment "That was the longest Old Navy commercial ever!"
  15. Bah, don't berate one of my proudest achievements!
  16. I've never heard of the unreachable gold bar before. And I did manage to get 199,000 (around 30 years ago.) Pretty sure that's the last time I played it.

    Kangaroo

Loved Kangaroo in the arcade, even though I only passed level 3 once. Guess I am a glutton for punishment. Even remember the last place that had it, was in a movie theater lobby when I was a teenager. Never knew there was a 2600 version back in the day, if I had I probably would have begged for it for Christmas/Birthdays.
  18. It is a new planet! Just not anywhere around here... https://www.nasa.gov/press-release/artificial-intelligence-nasa-data-used-to-discover-eighth-planet-circling-distant-star
  19. But it's not the same company as the current incarnation though, is it?
  20. Pioneers of what? You have to have done something to be a pioneer. "Ah, s**t guys, we forgot to build anything!"
  21. Touche'. Not gonna click 'like' on that reply...
  22. This thread is starting to be as hard to keep up with as the Chameleon thread. Some of us have to do SOME work while at our desks all day! Has anyone used the phrase "Taco Brigader" in the thread yet? Because if not, I will be the first person to have said it on the Internet. I wouldn't want to call anyone a "Taco Hater Brigader" because that would imply hatred of tacos.
  23. I thought of offering you money to try and broker it for me, but no, I really don't need that. That item would really irritate the wife considering the already packed basement o' stuff. But seeing it in a store where anyone can play(break) it is pretty astounding.
  24. Wow... I'm assuming they don't know that's worth some money. Wonder how long before a local AAer goes running to that store with some cash. (Paging BassGuitari...)
