Nope. We checked. Also checked the next door and cross-the-street neighbors' porches, the yard, the side door .... Not the first time something has been marked "delivered" and wasn't around here.

Needless to say, I am going to raise hell with the Postmaster if it doesn't mysteriously appear with Monday's mail. But big deal - I'll still be out $250 and the time until the next run arrives at retail. Although I will certainly choose something other than USPS the next time.

That's awful.   Hopefully it ended up at someone's house that will return it (after going "WTF is this?").  Also hopefully Al or SAG have kept a couple spares in case of this happening.

A while back my wife got a package 2 months after assuming it was long gone. It was delivered to some random office building 10 miles away, they finally called her.

Years ago one of the local post offices arrested several employees, they were taking people's Netflix DVDs, ripping them, then returning them.  A friend of mine would frequently not get a disc, but it would magically be marked returned in his queue.  Never happened to me, but we got our mail from the same PO.

I was kind of concerned that while SAG has neat custom packaging, it might encourage theft vs. sending just plain boxes.

So SAG apparently had these for sale at a show this past weekend (per this thread), but still has not made any for sale via their website. Do we know if they actually plan to do so or just sold out their first batch of carts in person already?

    Well that's some horse****!

Presumably those of us who actually filled out that “Notify Me” box on the product page will get emails … 👀

Yes, I've already done that, but there is no guarantee I will acually see said email in time either.

The product page wasn't actually complete until yesterday, so I would imagine things could have been mis-behaving. They should have stock Thursday I believe, so it's just down to when they put them live.

Can you text me right before they do?  :D

BUMP. Thread resurrected! I have ONE MORE sealed brand new mint Black Encore Megatron for grabs for $175 shipped if somebody wants it.

    PM!

Haha, why did you have to bump this thread?  I forgot all about it and then saw how much money it cost me.  (Robosen Prime)

Coincidentally about 2 weeks ago I got a real Wather P38.  Now I remember why it looked so familiar...  Guess I need to do a side-by-side!  :D

It’s the best of both worlds for me, I get to do something I enjoy and at the end of it all there’s something everyone else can enjoy as well. 😄

I'm glad you have been able to stick with it.   Can't believe this thread is almost 7 years old, since you were working on the Jaguar Gamedrive first, and it was definitely worth the wait for that one!

I put myself on the notification list too. I already have a Concerto + HOKEY, a Dragonfly w/Dual POKEY + YM2151, and my own custom-made LightPhaser adapter, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned in this hobby, it’s you CANNOT HAVE TOO MANY OPTIONS!

Nice.  The only thing I have for my 7800 is that the video was modded by Longhorn Engineer himself.

I remember two huge 4'x8' tables set in front of the enterence to KB Toy Store in Hillsdale Mall in San Mateo (that's within Silicon Valley for context). These tables had big sheet plastic walls about a foot deep all around them... Giving them a look of big troughs. They were all full of shrink-wrapped Atari 2600 games on clearance. All of marked down to $1-$3.

Part of my crash influenced experience, not knowing there was a crash:  Being at the mall with that giant bin of 2600 games at KB Toys, and mom would let us pick a game out because they were $1-$3.

Second part - 1984, after family got a CoCo 2.  "Wow, these games are way better than Atari!"

1986-7:  Holy cow the Nintendo is amazing!
